1 Prologue

in the northern parts of the Luna kingdom inside a cell a woman appearing in her late forties was dagger to the wall. her dress torn and bloody, her skin which should have been beautiful was badly mutilated and quickly rotting. This didn't stop her from murderously glaring at the trio in front of her.

"Artemis, really as the saying goes a bad person lives a thousand years and good person lives a few. I sold you to the lowest of whore houses and you escape. I made you a war slave and you survive then I locked you up in the depths of my husband private torture chamber's and not only did you manage to escape but also burned it down during your grand escape."

The only woman of the trio spoke hatefully.

"why bother causing us all this trouble if at the end you knew, it would end like this? now you can only remain standing thanks to the daggers keeping you from falling the poison in your body and can only wait for death"

The devilish handsome man at her side spoke as he disdainfully looks at Artemis. And the last of the trio a man with a stoic handsome face remain silent as he indifferently look at her, while they looking down at her.

Artemis coldly smile and with great effort says

" cough...even if it cost me, my life I wanted to let you dog couple suffer some of the pain you bastards cause me before I die..Cough"

[ah shit, I wanted to expose all of their secrets deals with the enemy kingdom then the ambitious treacherous nobles that are dissatisfied with Leo as their emperor could have a reason to revolt. during the chaos I would sneak in and kill that slut. Never did I imagine that the central kingdoms would launch a surprise attack on them nor Leo would quickly order his man to seal and search the palace causing her plans to fail.]

Artemis bitterly thought as she look at the man's and woman in front of her.

Elizabeth Castillo the weak third daughter of the left minister born of a concubine womb. she made a mysterious recovery 34 years ago which was when everything started going wrong for her. she demonstrated godly medication knowledge that create miracles whenever she goes and puts the imperial doctors to shame. Elizabeth and Leo seem to fall in love at first sight. remembering how she brought the slut to the palace and accidently causing them to meet makes her want to puke. the slut would become a valuable asset of his strength by creating powerful poisons for him. the poison she is suffering from is one of her inventions.

Raul Evans a gifted commoner who plead loyalty to Elizabeth after she save him from a deadly poison but he doesn't know the royal family is behind his poisoning thus becoming the sharpest tool of the royal family. he was the one responsible for her captures and foiling to her plan.

After seeing enough and not interested in keeping her company in her final moments Leo and Elizabeth turns to leave. as she leaves Elizabeth turns to Raul and says

" Raul the poison is meant to immobilize the target and somewhat rot the muscles but it is not for killing so take care of her. oh, and don't let her die too quickly. ok, Leo we can leave now.... Leo...??!!!.... Leo wait for me!!!".

Raul as always says nothing and picks another dagger and turns to Artemis.

Artemis glares at him and for a split second she can swore he said

"it will be over soon"

Before she can ask her vision black out and she doesn't feel as her body is cut to pieces.
