11 Learning the rest of the Rokushiki

(Kairo's POV)

After sparring with Dragon, we were both hospitalized.

No, hospitalized is the wrong word.

We were 'out of commission for a week.

We broke our arms, but we healed quickly.

Speaking of which, looking back at all the times I've been injured, I've always healed quickly.

Healing here is much quicker than healing on Earth.

My brother once broke his arm, and it took him 2 months to heal.

It only took us one week to heal over here.

It could be because the inhabitants of this world have an accelerated healing factor compared to the people on Earth.

It could be because of genetics.

Heck, it could even be because of the environment.

Anyways, after we healed up, Zephyr 'educated' us.

We were out of commission once again, this time for 2 weeks.

After we healed from his 'education', I started practicing Soru and Kami-e.

A/N: Idk how they train the Rokushiki in canon, so I'm gonna make stuff up

For Soru, I needed to be able to step multiple times in a second.

Instructor Zephyr said that "Ten times is a good number to start with. After you successfully do it 10 times a second, try to propel yourself forward with that ten steps."

So I did just that.

I stepped 10 times in a second.

Then I tried to propel myself forwards with the steps.

I hit a tree and dislocated my arm.

Of course, it was all fixed within a day.

Next, I tried practicing Kami-e.

Kami-e allows the user to achieve superhuman flexibility to dodge attacks.

So I trained my flexibility.

It didn't take as long as Soru nor Geppo, and I got it within 3 days.

Dragon said that I looked weird while doing Kami-e, bending and flopping around like a piece of paper.

Next, I went for Tekkai.

Tekkai hardens the user's muscles, so I did the closest thing that I could.

I tensed my muscles while telling Dragon to attack me.

A/N: Reminder that this is all bullsh*t made up by me

Tekkai took the longest to learn for me, taking 1 week and 2 days to learn.

I dislike my method of training Tekkai, but Instructor Zephyr never gave me a clue, and told me to, "Figure it out."

Tekkai would be among the most useful form of Rokushiki for me because I cannot move when I activate my 'Zone', and Tekkai would help with any ranged attacks coming out from outside my Zone.

A/N: I need a name for the zone, otherwise I'm literally gonna name it zone

Then, it was time for Shigan.

"Thrust your fingers as fast as you can."

And I did just that.

I sprained my finger many times.

Eventually, it was able to put a hole in a rock.

Shigan was Rob Lucci's favorite technique in canon, and I can see why.

He wanted to put a hole into everything.

So did I.

The feeling of piercing an object/person with Shigan was unimaginable.

It's like cutting through softened butter.

It feels really good.

Anyways, I've learned all the Rokushiki techniques.

Geppo, Soru, Shigan, Rankyaku, Tekkai, and Kami-e.

There was one more technique, and that was the Rokuogan.

Rob Lucci stated that I needed to have absolute mastery over the other Six Rokushiki skills, and I will do just that.

For Geppo, I stayed in the air for as long as I could and practiced repositioning in the air at a moment's notice.

For Soru, I practiced stepping as much as I can in 1 second, which would allow me to go even further.

I also practiced changing my direction mid-Soru.

Which led me to try and use my own version of Kamisori.

Lucci's Kamisori was a combination of Soru and Geppo, allowing him to move through the air at extremely high speed.

My version would be to reposition myself in an instant, whether if it was mid-Soru, or mid-air.

It took 5 weeks to learn it, but it was extremely rewarding.

Next, to master Shigan, I kept thrusting my finger into objects.

I was addicted to Shigan after experiencing the feeling of constantly 'cutting through butter'.

It almost became my favorite attack, if not for Kamisori and Rankyaku.

Next, was Rankyaku.

I didn't realize that I was extremely close to mastering Rankyaku because after all, I was able to use the [Rankyaku Gattling Gun].

I only needed to practice kicking stronger and faster.

Afterward, it was time for Tekkai.

As I said before, Tekkai would become one of my useful techniques when I activate the Zone.

This is why I put the most effort into training Tekkai.

First, I practiced activating and deactivating it at a moment's notice.

Second, I tried to activate Tekkai for specific body parts, more specifically my arm.

When I use my [Redirection], I absorb the force behind the attack and then redirect it.

If the force is too strong, I will break my arm.

That was proven with Instructor Zephyr.

This is why I believed that if I could activate Tekkai for a specific body part, I could improve my [Redirection].

Then, it was turn for Kami-e.

I'd say that Kami-e can be a really useful skill for Sanji.

He can squeeze in between the gaps of a hot spring, and watch the ladies without anyone noticing.

I would've done it too, but there's a lot of people with Observation Haki in Marineford.

One of the times I resent living in Marineford.

As I kept on training the Rokushiki, I eventually tried to do the Rokuogan.

According to Rob Lucci, you place your fists forward to focus your physical strength to unleash a devastating shockwave in a forward direction.

So, I tried it out.

Since I had a Doriki value of 3180 (IDK how strong I am now), the results were pretty devastating.

But, the skill isn't practical for me.

Unless I have a way to secure the enemy, like Lucci's tail, they would be able to move out of the way.

Unless...I make a shockwave too big to avoid.

Oh well, it's time for the first exercise for us new recruits.

Hm... I wonder what'll we be doing?
