Chapter 2: Princess Of Valentine?!

It had been 3 days since Avelyn awoke in this new and strange but somewhat familiar world. From the information she gathered from the servants she had taken the place of Princess Avelyn Victoria Valentine, the first daughter but third child of the Valentine Royal Family. She was well known for her beauty and infamously very much self-centered and selfish.

Eve had taken the place of Princess Evelynn Violetta Valentine, the second daughter and youngest in the Royal Family. She was very much sheltered by her family and was nicknamed the Little Angel of the Valentine's.

Avelyn called in her personal maid Rose to assist her in getting dressed, it was taking a while but she was getting used to the royal treatment. She was deep in thought about things when she heard a commotion just outside her door.

The door burst open with a slam and in stormed her two brothers, this would be her first time meeting them since coming to this world as her oldest brother Cassius had been visiting the human kingdom as the leader of the envoy party to discuss an alliance. Her second brother Felix is currently attending The Royal Academy of Magic and Sword Arts, the semester just ended so he came back home for a visit.

"Avie! I'm back!" Felix yelled with a bright smile running over to the girl still standing with a look of surprise on her face and hugging her before kissing her forehead. "Big bro missed you a lot," he said cheerfully.

After settling down on the couches she looked at both her brothers she took note of their similarities in features. She and Felix shared their Mom's jet-black hair whilst Eve and Cassius shared their Dad's luscious golden locs, the one feature they all had in common was their blood-red eyes a distinguishing feature of the Valentine Family of Pure Blood Royal Vampires.

As Felix chatted excitedly, Avelyn noticed that Cassius hadn't spoken a single word and was quietly staring at her. Feeling her cheeks heat up in embarrassment, she turned to him and asked: "Why are you staring at me like that?".

Unbothered her brother looked at her seriously for a second before stating that it felt like she had changed since she wasn't like this before. Sweating a little she managed to fool him into thinking it was a side effect of that illness.

Rose entered bowing before her "Your Highness, a letter has arrived from his royal majesty, your father". Evelyn smiled and thanked her before taking the letter and skimming through it. "So what did Father say?", questioned Cassius. "Well he was just saying that he'll be back within the next two days", she replied with a small smile. "Wait Really!, they've been gone for so long!". "Yes yes well I have things to get done so please leave my room," she said ushering the two boys out.

'The more and more characters I meet the more I feel like this is very familiar' After pondering over the matter she decides to go check in on her sister. They talk for a while before coming to an agreement of educating themselves about this world so they'll not be totally left in the dark.

Avelyn heads to the library and is about to take a book when her vision starts to blur and she stumbles before passing out.
