"Takashi? Do you know how far away is the nearest town?"

"The Aros Kingdom is two weeks away from here to the south"- Takashi

He seemed startled, he most likely thought I would leave for good

"Yes, the Adventurers guild ranks the people and then they give out missions according to your rank, or so I heard"

"I'll decide if we need to register in town, kay?"

Takashi and Nami both nodded

After a two day walk and the constant nagging of my travel companions, we arrived at a town called Riza. It's famous for its commerce, thanks to its location different merchants pass through it making it one of the merchant capitals or so Nami said.

"Nami, I can't speak Hyuman, can you ask around for the adventures guild so we can get this done with?"

"Takashi go with her I'll wait here for you both" Both departed leaving me near the fountain in the plaza

I watched the hyumans go and come, children playing, couples and friends... They seemed so similar so why show such cruelty to those different?

It just doesn't make sense, not to me.

Then I felt a sudden movement near me. I turned in it's direction, a guard or perhaps a knight, he looked tired. Drinking something in a bottle he directed his gaze towards me and offered some.

I tilted my head, he only smiled.

I took a sip and a sweet flavor enveloped in my mouth, a flavor that I missed so much, peaches.

He looked rather amused at the silly grin I made from the taste

"Ин бомазза аст?" (Is it tasty?)

How do I tell him I can't understand...

He looked at me quite startled, but it left me more astonished that

I laughed so hard my stomach started to hurt

I started to feel guilty for appraising him, but I was told that people who have committed crimes have status exes or something of the sort.

I don't wish to come into contact with slaver again.

We chatted for 20 minutes when Nami and Takashi were coming my way.

Nine placed his hand on my shoulder, Takashi took it as hostility.

He pointed his sword at him. Nine looked at him condescendingly " I wouldn't do that here, you're not Hyuman doing that will only get you imprisoned and sold"

After I heard his words anger filled my gaze

"Nine I have matters to tend to"

With that, I pulled Nami and Takashi's hands walking away.

He looked quite baffled once I left, but I will not let anyone hurt them.

"Who was he?"- Takashi

"Someone I ran into him by chance, okay, how did the trading go?"

"We got three gold coins for the meet and fruit but we have to register to the guild to sell the herbs"-Nami

"Income is important, let's register for now. They do allow non-hyumans to register correct?"

"Yeah"

We walked towards a very huge hall that had carving on the top, not that I could understand them.

"Welcome to the Riza Adventurers Guild, how can I help you?"

We expressed our wish to register, the girl was polite but her wary gaze was evident

"The jobs rank from E to SS and the respective adventurers who have the same rank are able to undertake the job. And about ranks, the guild calculates the success rate of the jobs and the level to elevate your ranks"

We registered Takashi received rank D while Nami and myself started at E.

"Miss receptionist we have herbs we wish to sell is it possible?"

"Yes it Hiyori-san"

I reached into my storage space and retrieved the bag of herbs...
