Nami stepped forward to the arena where a big burly guy was waiting

"Nine, isn't that a bit much for her" My sarcastic tone seemed dissed

"She uses body-reinforcement magic, she'll be fine" I guess they weren't only observing Takashi on the subjugation.

"NO FATAL BLOWS ARE ALLOWED THIS IS JUST A RANK UP TEST, SO BATTLE WITH CAUTION. ALL WEAPONS AND MAGIC IS PERMITTED. Am I clear?"

She lanced forward aiming for his face, Gill evaded grabbing her by the tail and slamming her to the floor. Nami coughed, sensing the danger above she retreated, for the spot that she was a moment ago to be punched with brute force, The color in her face drained

I was approaching at high speed, he jumped to his feet sending a kick to my side, catapulting me to the wall.

Climbing out "well you're much stronger than I expected, now let's get serious" a smile crept out. I pulled out my daggers, he seemed surprised at the fact I knew how to use blades.

As the match continued my mind clouded, each slash, each kick, every move felt as if the logic was being zapped out. My concentration started wavering and so did my illusion, my irises had started to slip.

Nami was the first one to notice

"Zatras-dono stop the match, Now!!"

"It hasn't ended yet, there is no reason to stop it"-Zatras

"You don't understand" Nami was preparing her self to tackle me but Nine stopped her

"Nami why do you want the match to stop?"

"Hiyori-sama is losing control and don't call my name so casually " The fur covering her tail and ears was standing. Nine understood that something was off

"Zatras stop the match, you know she can rank up"-Nine

"HALT!!!" Zatras yelled at the top of his lungs.

"cling.. clank" the sword in Kai's hand was sent flying, he bolted backward to prevent himself from being slashed.

My mind was clouded with the ecstasy of the fight, I dashed toward Kai ready to slice his throat when Takashi used his Hibbiki to block my daggers making me stagger backward.

Nami activated her skill sending a punch to my chest knocking me to the wall.

"Ugh"

"Now, that was intense?!~" Kai approached Nami and Takashi

Placing a hand on my head to calm my ache, I saw the state I left his armor in. It seems like it will cost to repair ughhhh just what I needed.

Nami translated what I said to him, I heard him chuckle. He removed the mail coif and mask that covered his face; raven dark hair, gold almond-shaped eyes, sharp nose.

He left me speechless

"Hiyori you've ranked up to C class" Zatras extended his hand to me, pulling me up "it seems you have quite the amount of magic but you need to control it, if you don't, you'll lose control to it. "

After returning to the guildhall I instructed Nami to pay for "Kai's armor at the receptionist desk.

'This is the second occasion it happens, is it the defect of this body? Its as if it seeks the thrill of fighting. I need to control it, it could get out of hand if I don't.'

Sitting in the lounge, Nine poked my cheek breaking my train of thought "Are you okay?"

"I am now"

"It looked as if you had caught the guy cheating on you or something"

"Pffft" I guess he was trying to lighten my mood.

"Are you able to understand what she is saying?" Kai moved towards us.

"Yeah, I speak archaic"

"oh?" Kai seemed confused, he has a considerable amount of magic but I guess he uses other chanting languages "Can she understand me?"

I nodded in response

He rubbed the back of his head shyly asking " Hiyori-san would you like to link?"
