69 Guilt R-18

Point out any errors I made in the chapters, as I'm very lazy and sometimes can't be bothered to reread them. Also give your opinions on something I should change or add.

Note: This chapter has an R-18 scene in it, but still has some important lore and information. If you don't want to read the sex scene part, you can skip ahead. I have placed a warning before the scene and a message at the end to skip to.

Within a short amount of time, around half of the available living space in the Greenwater Villa was filled up with restored Zero Wing members, with Feng leaving the other half for other high ranking members whose memories have yet to be restored, while those with lower ranks in the guild who didn't manage to get a room would have to settle for staying in the Workshop, or use their own accommodations, and simply come to the villa for training. The same situation went for the unrestored members. 

Seeing that, and that everyone was either training their bodies or preparing to log into God's Domain, Feng headed to the top floor where the rooms of Zero Wing's core members are. 

Knock. Knock. 

After lightly knocking on a door twice, it was opened by a blue haired beauty several moments later, whose emotionless gaze trembled slightly upon landing on Feng, as if something beneath those ocean-blue eyes wanted to jump out and strangle him; but was restrained. 

"Aqua there's something I want to talk to you about, is now a good time?" Feng asked composedly, having spent some time thinking about how to bring up the topic of his relationship with the other girls to Aqua, knowing he shouldn't delay things any longer just because he was unsure how things would work out. 

"Sure." Aqua replied simply while moving from the door, allowing Feng entry, before closing it behind him. 

"I'll be straightforward, do you want to be with me?" Naturally, the straightforward way was the tactic Feng had landed on, feeling like it would be the most effective instead of using some roundabout method. 

Since he had already decided on forgoing his previous notion of ignoring how the girls felt about him in order to focus on everything else going on, and knew how deep Aqua's were from the many experiences during the previous timeline, while he had made it clear what his stance was on being with multiple girls by not commenting on Fire, Violet and Ruoxi staying in the same room as him, Feng thought that there was no need for him to subtly ask Aqua about it. 

A deafening silence filled the room, Aqua's face remaining totally blank as she blinked a few times, her gaze locked onto Feng. 

"Excuse me?" To Feng's proposal, Aqua's expression warped to one meaning 'Are you shitting me', asking a question while, to Feng's surprise, chuckling. 

He had expected multiple things to be Aqua's response when he had mapped out the conversation in his mind, but a chuckle wasn't one of them. 

Though, the chuckle didn't seem to be a humorous one of Aqua finding something funny, but one of absolute fury. 

Enraged chuckles continued to sound out from Aqua, getting close to turning into laughter, until it abruptly stopped, as Aqua cocked her head slightly to the side, while her expression no longer emotionless as her rage became apparent. 

"Are you fucking with me Feng?" 

The built up rage inside of Aqua turned into murderous intent as she glared at Feng with her fists clenched, and Feng wouldn't be surprised if she was able to achieve the Killing Intent Materialization standard by the way she was looking at him right now, the thought making Feng fail to notice not even her manifestation had formed. 

As Aqua took a step toward him, Feng resided to accepting her fury and whatever she threw at him while standing still, his eyes never leaving hers. Although he did feel guilty for having sex with the other three behind her back, and two of them before her memories had even been restored, he definitely didn't regret it, as who knew how long it would have taken for the situation to change if he hadn't accepted Fire at that time. 

However, what Feng didn't know was that wasn't what Aqua was currently mad about. 

She could ignore and accept many things. 

Him ignoring her feelings during the previous timeline, saying the time wasn't right for it later on despite everything that happened between them? Fine, she could accept it even though she didn't like his decision. 

Him sleeping with other girls before her memories had been restored and fully enjoying himself after despite previously doing his best to avoid any of it? Whatever, she could ignore it, no matter how pissed off it made her that he didn't wait for her to be restored and Fire breaking the agreement. 

Even his lackluster and casual attitude towards the entire thing, Aqua didn't have much trouble tolerating due to knowing what kind of a person Feng was. 

But him not telling her a single thing after restoring her memories and acting like nothing had changed, leaving her to learn what had happened from elsewhere, not bothering to address it even after she had made it obvious that she had learnt about it? 

Him having the gall to start doing it with Ruoxi as well and then be so blatant about it while not even sparing her a glance or a word, and then to just show up to her room, without so much as a word about anything that had hurt her feelings and made her wonder if he even wanted her, suddenly saying such a thing so straightforwardly like she was just supposed to say ok? 

There was no way Aqua could remain calm any longer after he had disregarded her so much, especially considering for how long she had waited for him and restrained herself all this time. Aqua approached Feng with her nails digging into her palms, nearly drawing blood, and reached him within a few steps as her rage bloated. 

The punch or slap Feng had expected never came, though, and Aqua merely buried her face in his chest, her original tense and shaking from anger body seemingly growing weak upon contact, while Feng could hear faint sobs coming from below. 

"Aqua, you..." Feng wasn't sure how to react to the sudden change in the beauty's attitude. 

Feng very rarely saw Aqua cry, and there was pretty much nothing that could bring tears to her eyes after steeling her heart throughout the years, with him not remembering when the last time she broke down was. She had grown into a strong woman over time, seemingly able to handle anything the world threw at her no matter how bad it got, so seeing her in this state was quite a shock to Feng.

It also rendered him unable to do anything, having no idea what the next best move was. An enraged Aqua, he knew how to handle, but a crying one made him feel helpless, as he neither knew or had any experience in dealing with a woman's emotions. 

But Aqua didn't leave him waiting in confusion for long, pulling back and emerging from his chest, the rage in her teary eyes not having disappeared, only, they now contained desperation, while the pain in them that she had previously been attempting to hide was on full display for Feng to see. 

"TEN YEARS! TEN FUCKING YEARS! WE'VE- I'VE SPENT THE ENTIRE TIME STOPPING MYSELF FROM ACTING ON MY FEELINGS BECAUSE YOU SAID THE TIME WASN'T RIGHT YET, BUT THE MOMENT I'M GONE, YOU AND FIRE START FUCKING LIKE A COUPLE OF HORNY TEENAGERS! WHAT THE FUCK!? DID EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED REALLY MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?" 

The furious reaction Feng had been expecting appeared, but not in the form he had thought it would. Although he knew Aqua would be mad, he never thought she had kept such feelings bottled up, or that his actions would inadvertently hurt her due to him not being considerate, which hadn't been his intention in the least. 

Looking at Aqua's current condition as she screamed out at the top of her lungs with tears running down her cheeks, however, Feng realized that he had made a big mistake in his approach to the entire thing between him and the girls, not having considered their perspective from the other side, especially Aqua's, as he kept avoiding the subject with her due to not being sure how to go about it. 

From Aqua's point of view, however, that must have seemed like he was actively avoiding her, making her unsure if he even wanted to be with her. Along with the things the two of them had been through together in the previous timeline, behind her emotionless facade, Aqua's feelings must have been all over the place; so Feng suddenly asking her to join in on his harem situation caused all of that to explode at once.

"Was everything you said just a lie?" The silence hanging in the air was broken with Aqua's question, her previous enraged tone no longer present, replaced by a sorrowful one with her head lowered. 

"Of course not." Feng replied with a small sigh, deciding he needed to fix his fuck up immediately after seeing the state his inconsiderate actions has reduced Aqua to. 

"But then-" 

"Aqua, my head has been messed up for years now, and I haven't really been thinking straight." Feng reflected on his past actions and spoke out his honest thoughts. "In the past, I thought that if I kept away from all of you, it would stop us from getting distracted and allow me to not hurt any of your feelings, but honestly, a large part of me just wanted to avoid the entire thing because I had no idea how to deal with all of it or any of you." 

To say Feng had been inexperienced at proper relationships and connections in the previous timeline, and even now, would be an understatement. Women actually liking him instead of just wanting to get with him for benefits had been new to him, and put Feng out of his element. 

All he knew before that were swords and violence, and while he possessed the ability to get along with people, including females, it was purely business related; or for simple cardinal pleasures in some cases. 

So, ending up in a situation where someone was actually attracted to him romantically, not to mention multiple women, instantly awakened Feng's inner introvert that's been sleeping ever since his highschool years. 

In spite of the girls' high opinion of him, in reality, Feng was a bit of a wreck inside when it came to things like emotions, and all his reasons for abstaining from a relationship with any of them, while indeed valid and true, were merely semi excuses, which Feng hadn't even been aware he was making, for not having to deal with all of that while distracting himself with other things such as God's Domain. 

If he had really wanted to, there were ways for subverting them, but Feng was too caught up in his own head to actually commit to such things in the real world, choosing to simply avoid it all and stop himself from going along with what he was really feeling. 

Turns out that spending nearly all of your life playing VR games will do that to ya. 

However, Feng was still human, not some emotionless robot who could only focus on work, and, while he attempted to suppress them, had things like emotions and desires, along with moments of weakness when they surfaced. 

Due to Aqua being one of the closest people to him since she was the First Vice Guild Leader of Zero Wing, a large amount of those moments were near her, causing many awkward and heated situations between her and Feng to happen. 

Although they always managed to restrain themselves, it wasn't before actions of passion were exchanged. There were even several occasions when they had gotten close to actually doing the deed. 

Such things having happened was one of the reasons Aqua had taken Feng ignoring the sexual tension which had built up between them, while he happily fucked the other three, to heart so much; even though she knew that she wasn't the only one he had such moments with, having felt there was something special between them, which did indeed exist, but was suppressed. 

"Now, though, for the first time in a long while, I'm thinking clearly, and can see things the way they really are." Saying so, Feng pulled Aqua into his arms and lifted her chin, looking deep into her ocean-blue eyes that stared up at him in slight surprise, having thought she knew pretty much everything about Feng, not expecting someone like him, who always seemed to have everything within his control, to actually have something he wasn't good or confident at.

"Still, I don't understand why you couldn't have told me how things are after restoring my memories, or just come to the Workshop later on since I made it clear I was staying there, while you clearly weren't having any trouble accepting the others' feelings; and I doubt you simply didn't know how I felt or how to do it seeing the bold way you just walked in and asked me to become another member of your harem." 

Even though she understood what Feng was trying to say, Aqua still didn't get why he could readily accept the other three's feelings but chose to avoid the entire thing when her turn had came. To Aqua's questioning, though, Feng couldn't help but smile wryly. 

There were five main reasons, or excuses, Feng had ignored how Aqua and the others feel about him.

The first, he didn't want to distract himself or them from getting stronger and focusing on work, as their situation in the Greater World at the time was incredibly dangerous to say the least, and they needed to constantly be doing their best in order to survive.

The second, he didn't want to create any internal conflict between them, and Feng wasn't sure if he would have been able to remain unbiased with his actions if he actually was with one of them.

The third, he didn't want to hurt any of their feelings. After all, they had all grown close by that time, and Feng couldn't bring himself to just accept one and break the rest of their hearts. Not to mention that might very well break apart the guild.

The fourth was the reincarnation problem. Feng was already mentally unstable after the incident with the Mysterious Space. If he actually got in a relationship with one of them, and ended up reincarnating, they would no longer remember anything that happened between them. Feng wasn't sure how he'd handle it emotionally. God forbid he had a kid with one of them and it got erased. 

And the fifth... 

"You weren't supposed to have those feelings towards me in the first place, Aqua. None of you were." Before the beauty in his arms could wonder what his words meant, Feng continued "My entire existence should have been irrelevant to you if not for me reincarnating." 

Feng had used his knowledge of the future from his first life to take advantage and recruit many people with great talents, and while he had no issues with using the opportunity he had been given in that sense to acquire people, them gaining feelings for him was another thing. 

In Aqua's case, she should have originally been making a name for herself in Twilight Echo, becoming a high echelon in it as well as a Tier 6 Curse God without his interference, but thanks to him changing the timeline, she ended up leaving her guild, and Feng took the chance to poach her into Zero Wing. 

Naturally, since she was up for grabs, Feng had no problems with taking her for himself. However, her becoming attracted to him and falling in love due to his meddling felt wrong and manipulative to Feng; especially when he was the root cause for her situation with Twilight Echo unfolding the way it did. 

After all, because of Feng having a partnership with Aqua and selling her the Glimmer Chestplate Designs, the resulting money she had made caused Twilight Echo's elders to grow jealous, which followed with the entire thing involving Brilliant Wargod and Aqua's arranged marriage, causing her to leave and Feng to recruit her. 

A similar thing had actually happened with Snow as well, since, while Feng had indeed helped her defeat Cao Chenghua and allowed her to take ownership of the Ouroboros's Guild Leader position, his and Zero Wing's presence in White River City, and Feng trying to make it Star-Moon Kingdom's capital, boosting its value to an Empire's City, along with the kingdom's overall value, had caused powers like Blackwater to take an interest in the Star-Moon Kingdom, which then annexed Ouroboros and other guilds; providing Feng the perfect stage to pull in his Second Vice Guild Leader. 

Whether his intention or not, it all looped around back to Feng in one way or another, along with many other smaller things. 

Still Feng gladly welcomed it and played his part of being the knight in shining armor, taking all opportunities available to bolster his guild's strength. Taking advantage of the girls who gained feelings for him due to it, though, was not something he had been willing to do, feeling that it would be immoral of him and exploiting his reincarnation in a wrong way. 

There hadn't been such an issue for Fire, since Feng had no idea who or where she had been in his first life, his best guess that she had joined some dark guild and remained a hidden expert that someone with his status had no knowledge about, so the fifth reason hadn't really applied to her. 

Violet, while she had indeed been a top-tier solo expert, which had made Feng consider the situation around her, was a bit different than Aqua due to the nature of her entire career in God's Domain, so Feng wasn't too bothered about it for her.

And Ruoxi's case was similar to Fire's, in a sense that she had been a hidden expert during his first life, while her situation in real life had become an unknown to Feng after university due to the two of them not being that close, so Feng didn't consider the fifth reason for her either.

For Aqua, though, a person like her should not have even known he existed if not for him redoing his life, thus, along with him practically pushing her into her quarrel with Twilight Echo, it had felt to Feng like he was manipulating Aqua into gaining feelings for him during the second timeline. 

"Though, that doesn't matter anymore." After spending some time rethinking things, Feng realized that the first timeline didn't matter, neither to his guild members, or really to him either, so he deciding to stop concerning himself over something like that.

No longer bothering with words, Feng brought Aqua in closer and lowered his lips to connect with hers, conveying the rest of his feelings, which he wasn't able to say, through his actions.

Happily welcoming his advances, Aqua returned the kiss, her previous rage seemingly melting away under Feng's sensational exchange of saliva, until the emotions she had been keeping sealed deep down inside of her burst forth as she clung tightly onto Feng.

Since the other three would be staying in Feng's room, Aqua certainly couldn't fall behind, so she decided to join them in his room. Either way, since Feng had gotten the best room in the entire Greenwater Villa, there should be enough room for all five of them to comfortably stay in it. 

Jing blinked a few times after hearing Aqua's words, the implications of her staying in Feng's room, along with her slightly tired yet happy tone, dawning on her. Realizing what it meant, Jing couldn't help but bite her lips, before sayin a moment later "Understood, I'll inform them right away." She then left to carry out Aqua's orders.

Such a reaction would probably be the same from the families of the other girls' with prominent background, but it hadn't occurred to Feng or the other three since Ruoxi's Zhao family was merely of importance in Jin Hai City, and with Feng being a martial arts master, it would definitely be in favor of it; while Violet and Fire were both commoners like Feng, Violet's parents most likely not having any problems with her marrying Feng regardless of having to share him as long as she turns 18; while Fire never had to consider such a thing, as she had been an orphan since birth. 

Aqua's words caused Feng to pause for a moment as he considered his situation and how his mother and father would react to him going from being single to simultaneously being with four women at once, while the number was definitely going to increase over time. 

"If anyone should be concerned about explaining this to their parents, it should be me." Although polygamy was legal and quite common among powerful families, it practically never happened for commoners like Feng, so he could guess his parents would be more than surprised. 

Feng didn't think there would be any issues with his father, who'd most likely just give him a thumbs up, but his mother was another matter. Of course, their opinion wouldn't really affect Feng or his decision. Nothing would stop him from doing what he wanted and correcting his past mistakes.

After having reached the Mental Strength Grandmaster standard in his previous life, Feng had his parents move to the Upper Zone on Earth, but after arriving at the Greater World and seeing it's a dangerous place where might makes right, while Feng's overall strength wasn't quite that impressive in the grand scheme of things, he had immediately realized how challenging things would be for weak people and those who had nothing in God's Domain; like his parents. 

Still, that didn't stop Feng from trying his absolute best in keeping them safe from the dangers and horrors of the Greater World. Only, it wasn't quite enough. 

A situation where a difficult decision had to be made had eventually arisen, between saving a large number of Zero Wing's core members who were surrounded in one of Greater World's towns that was a bit away from civilization, and in danger of being wiped out by a hostile power, or to save a group with an even larger number of people, but ones without much strength and mostly comprised of the guild's member's families, with Feng's parents being among them, from another hostile power. 

It was done in a way and at a time that saving both groups was impossible, forcing Feng to chose between them. A group of fighters valuable to the guild and one without which Zero Wing's power would be greatly decreased, or one with people who didn't have that much value to him, but had among them those who were dear to Feng and his guildmates. 

If it had happened a few years later, the cold and merciless Feng would have definitely chosen to leave the group with useless people to their own devices and save the group with core members and crush the opposing power, before going back and destroying the other hostile power for revenge in order to appease the guild's enraged and grieving members. 

But this had taken place earlier, when Feng was still holding onto some morals and wasn't that ruthless to simply abandon his own people. 

Thus, being Feng, he pulled some trump cards, which he had acquired a couple chap- days before that, out of his ass and chose to save both groups. His plan had mostly worked, saving the surrounded core members with minimal losses, while the group of filled with the members' families were similarly saved in the nick of time, the people Feng had sent managing to rescue around 90% of the people there from the hostile power's clutches. 

However, by some cruel twist of fate, Feng's own family wasn't among that 90%. 

From what Feng had heard, his father, perhaps being inspired by his son, had rallied the people there to work together and managed to put up some form of weak defense that slowed the power's people by an hour or so, which had been critical for Feng's people to get there on time, but had made himself a primary target in doing so, even more than he had already been due to being the father of Zero Wing's Guild Leader. 

Naturally, Feng's father, even with the resources he had receiving from Feng, didn't stand any chance against a power's trained soldiers being a middle aged man with no prior fighting experience, and had been killed fairly quickly. 

Although his mother didn't put herself in harms way like Feng's father, she had been fatally injured during the attack, and had passed away just as Feng burst through the door to her room after hearing the news and rushing over. 

Unsurprisingly, his parents' deaths had dealt a heavy blow to Feng, and he had even considered trying to see whether he could reincarnate again by committing suicide, but the thought of it possibly failing and him truly dying, leaving all the people who depended on him alone against the enemies he had gained, kept him from going through with that thought. 

Being reminded of that, a cold glint appeared in Feng's eyes, as he swore he'd never allow such a thing to happen again and that he'd fix his two time fuck up in both timelines, keeping his parents safe and healthy, away from any troubles. 

With that in mind, Feng had already sent plenty of Credits to his parents so that they could live peacefully without having to work, along with many Nutrient Fluids of various ranks, with him planning to have two of the S-rank Nutrient Fluids obtained from the Big Dipper competition transferred to them as well. 

Of course, this was just the beginning, and he'd take care of them better once he gets strong enough, and naturally... 

The murderous intent in Feng's eyes intensified until his pitch-black pupils had turned blood-red. 

...Get proper revenge on all those bastards who had caused them suffering.

This was undoubtedly Aqua's intention, as she had realized what was going through Feng's head upon seeing the look in his eyes after the mention of his parents. 

Their current exchange and the situation surrounding it also reminded both Feng and Aqua of their first kiss which had followed the death of Feng's parents while Feng was in a bit of a mess and unable to think straight. 

At the time, for the first time since they had met each other, it was the first time Aqua had seen such a lost and distracted look on Feng's face, as well as it being the first time that when she asked him what they should do, Feng just looked at her blankly and said the words Aqua never thought she'd hear from him. 

"I don't know." 

It was then that Aqua realized that Feng, despite all his accomplishments and miracles, was still only human just like her and everybody else around them, that he also had moments where he needed someone else to help him and console him. And it was also the first time she saw Feng weep a tear. A single one, yet enough to tell Aqua how fucked up he was feeling. 

As the two of them broke away from the kiss, their emotions for one another was easily conveyed wordlessly through their eyes. 

Following which, Feng and Aqua cleaned up themselves from the love making session, as well as the room, before moving Aqua's stuff to Feng's room, where Fire, Violet and Ruoxi were waiting to welcome Aqua after seeing another Virtual Gaming Cabin join the previous four, and logging into God's Domain once again after drinking a bottle of S-rank nutrient Fluids.
