Blade Saint once more (2)

While Feng had spent his time in the Origin Sword Domain, an incident had occurred in White River City.

Dark Star, a Guild that White River City had already forgotten, suddenly declared its dissolution. This news came as a great shock to everyone. Some of the Guilds who had previously allied themselves with Dark Star simultaneously announced their dissolution as well.

Originally, everyone had thought that White River City was on the path of becoming the overlord of Star-Moon Kingdom.

However, no one could have expected the following development.

Half a day after the dissolution of these Guilds, a Branch Guild of Overwhelming Smile suddenly appeared in White River City. More shockingly, Lone Tyrant, who was originally the Guild Leader of Dark Star, had become the Vice-Leader that led Overwhelming Smile's Branch Guild. Furthermore, the benefits that Overwhelming Smile offered were impressive, at least twice as valuable as what Dark Star had previously offered. It was a blatant display of wealth.

The members of the dissolved Guilds promptly joined Overwhelming Smile's White River City Branch.

Within half a day since Overwhelming Smile's Branch Guild's establishment, its member count had already reached 30,000. Moreover, that number was still increasing. It continuously recruited new members, thinking of ways to steal players from Zero Wing.

"Big Sis Aqua, Overwhelming Smile thinks too little of us. Instead of recruiting in their hometown of Maple City, they ran all the way here to fight us over members. The Guild Leader and many others also suddenly disappeared and cannot be contacted. If we allow Overwhelming Smile to continue, by the time we start our recruitment tomorrow, they will have stolen all the good saplings. Big Sis Aqua, why don't we start recruiting right now?" Snow Goose asked anxiously.

It had been Zero Wing's fame that had attracted players from other cities. Yet, now, Overwhelming Smile had come to steal the fruit of victory. It was truly despicable.

"Overwhelming Smile is truly ambitious. They've only obtained the First Clear of a large-scale Team Dungeon, yet, already, they're hungering after White River City." Aqua Rose's eyes flashed with rage. Although she was not afraid of losing potential Guild Members, she could not stand Overwhelming Smile's arrogant attitude. They were clearly trying to provoke Zero Wing. "Does Overwhelming Smile think it is so easy to weave a web in White River City? Let's start advertising our recruitment right now! I want to see how a second-rate Guild without a Guild Residence plans to compete with Zero Wing in terms of benefits!"

Once Zero Wing began to prepare for its recruitment fervently as well, White River City exploded with activity.

On one side, there was Overwhelming Smile, a Guild that had claimed the First Clear of a large-scale Team Dungeon and annexed Dark Star, one of the top six Guilds of White River City. On the other side stood Zero Wing, a Guild that possessed a Guild Residence and was led by Star-Moon Kingdom's number one expert.

Many players on the forums were also discussing which Guild they should join.

"Big Brother Shadow Sword, White River City is truly interesting. Despite only being the fifth-ranking city of Star-Moon Kingdom, it is now contested over by the two most popular Guilds in the kingdom. Which Guild do you think these independent players will join?" the female Guardian Knight, Turtledove, asked the Berserker beside her, Shadow Sword, with an amused smile on her face.

"I don't know what others will choose, but my goal from the very beginning has been to join Zero Wing," Shadow Sword wasn't interested in the competition between the two Guilds. His only thoughts right now were of passing Zero Wing's assessment and polishing his strength by learning from the experts in Zero Wing. He also hoped to learn from Zero Wing's Guild Leader, Black Flame. He had no interest in anything beyond that.

Feng didn't care at all for the happenings in White River City, as he had something much more important to do. He soon returned to his Forging Room in the Starstreak Trading Firm and took out the Broken Steel Forging Design and the Book of Creation from his bag. Not wasting any time, Feng used Blessing of Creation on the Forging Design. 

A golden light shot out of the Book of Creation and landed on the Broken Steel Forging Design, which started floating in mid air while glowing brightly. 

Meanwhile, Feng stared in excitement at the floating Forging Design. After all, the Broken Steel Set was a Unique Set Equipment meant for the Blade Saint Class. In his previous life, Feng had not been able to create the Broken Steel Set for a while because of insufficient materials, and when he did finally gather the necessary materials, he already had many Fragmented Legendary and Legendary items, thus, the benefits an Epic rank Set Equipment could have brought him would have been limited; especially when he would have to replace powerful Legendary equipment such as the Disintegration Armor in order to equip its pieces. There was also the cost of making the Set and possible failures. 

However, it would be an entirely different story if the Broken Steel Set were to become a Fragmented Legendary Set. 

At that point, the price required to make it wouldn't matter much. Setting aside it being a Unique Class Set Equipment, the value of a Fragmented Legendary Set Equipment was extremely high, not to mention a Forging Design of one. 

Not to mention that the Broken Steel was a Set Equipment for a Blade Saint, thus its value was much higher to Feng. If he could forge it at the Fragmented Legendary rank, even if Feng had to replace some Legendary Equipment in order to equip it, he would. 

Moreover, Feng had a few ways to promote Fragmented Legendary items into Legendary ones, so he might even be able to upgrade the Broken Steel Set to Legendary rank. At that point, let alone this God's Domain, with his other items and means, he'd be nearly invincible even in the Greater God's Domain after he got promoted to Tier 6. 

Though, if Feng was lucky enough, it might be upgraded to Legendary rank after just forging it thanks to the Creation Goddess's Blessing; but Feng wasn't counting on it. 

Around a minute or so later, which felt like an eternity to Feng, the blinding light finally subsided, and the Broken Steel Forging Design fell back into Feng's hands, who immediately checked its information anxiously. But the moment he did, Feng's expression froze.

Feng felt his fantasy of a Legendary Rank Unique Set Equipment cracking a bit upon seeing the new Broken Steel Set Forging Design, but he recomposed himself a moment later. 

In reality, the Blessing of Creation skill from the Book of Creation wasn't really a skill that increased a Design's rank, but a skill that improved the Design. As for how it was improved, that depended on the Design. 

It was Feng that got his hopes up after seeing Blessing of Creation improve one Design's rank after another's. But after a moment of thought, Feng realized that it becoming an eight-piece Set wasn't all that bad, and that he wasn't completely out of options. 

"It seems like I'll have to ask Sharlyn about this thing." Feng decided as he stored the Book of Creation's Replica. He figured that she might know something about it, and how to improve it. If he managed to repair the Book of Creation a bit, the skills would improve some more, which might allow Blessing of Creation to improve Designs even more. 

Though, even if that doesn't work, Feng could simply keep spamming Blessing of Creation on the Broken Steel Forging Design whenever it came off cooldown, as there was technically no limit on the number of times it could be used on a single Design; only, the benefits and improvement it could bring to a Design would drop significantly after the first use, and even more with each subsequent one. With the Blessing of Creation's one day cooldown, it might take a while for the Broken Steel Forging Design to reach Fragmented Legendary rank, if it does at all. 

But Feng wasn't overly concerned. He had time before he managed to gather the necessary resources, especially with the ones needed now after the improvement being even higher; which would most likely increase by a lot even further if it does reach Fragmented Legendary rank. 

Feng then used the Communication Crystal to contact Seliora.

"Hello, Miss Seliora. I am Ye Feng. I have something I would like your help with. I wonder if you have any time to spare right now?" Feng asked.

Although, he didn't really need Seliora's help to forge the Broken Steel Set, as he had others in Candlelight who could do it for him, or even he himself could do it, it would benefit Seliora if he gave her an Epic Set Equipment to research, which would ultimately help him in the future. Moreover, he was also planning on returning Seliora's memories at one point once he grew strong enough, as she had been of great help to him after he had recruited her to his guild in his previous life, so he needed to remain in a close relationship with her. 

"Oh, it's you. I'm very busy right now, so make it quick." Although Seliora did not immediately reject him, she still did not show any sign of interest.

To Seliora, nothing was more important than collecting Epic ranked forging materials right now. If not for the favor she owed Feng, she would have directly rejected his request, instead of taking the time to listen to him.

Feng was aware of this point. After all, he was extremely familiar with Seliora's personality—someone who was wholeheartedly focused on forging, without the slightest bit of interest in anything else. This was also why she had managed to become a Grandmaster Forger at such a young age. Feng then chuckled and said, "I have a forging design for an Epic Set Equipment."

"What? Epic Set Equipment!?" Seliora's eyes suddenly shone. She hurriedly demanded, "Why didn't you say so earlier?! Meet me at my smithy right away!"

Feng shook his head and laughed when he heard Seliora's impatient tone.

To NPCs, Epic ranked forging designs, much less a forging design for an Epic Set Equipment, were extremely rare. It was the dream of countless forgers to produce a set of Epic Equipment. Meanwhile, to players, Epic ranked forging designs were much more difficult to obtain. 

In God's Domain, Set Equipment were half a rank stronger than discrete equipment of the same rank. In other words, the quality of an Epic Set Equipment was above that of Epic Equipment, but below that of Fragmented Legendary Equipment. To players who could not get their hands on Fragmented Legendary Equipment, Epic Set Equipment was the best equipment available.

A few minutes later, Feng arrived at Seliora's smithy. At this moment, the door to her smithy was still shut tight, and it did not seem she planned to do business at all.

Feng walked over and knocked on the door. The thick wooden door then slowly opened, and a surge of scorching air rushed out of the house.

In the next moment, Seliora walked out from within before quickly dragging Feng into the house.

Despite having not seen each other for some time, Seliora looked exactly the same, still fully garbed in black leather clothing. That large V-shaped collar revealed her snow-white skin. Her black leather pants tightly hugged her slender legs. Seliora currently exuded an enchanting charm.

"Hurry up and let me see it~~"

Seliora pushed Feng against a table, her body very nearly sticking to his. Her eyes shone with excitement as she spoke, failing to notice how lethal her impure actions were...

"Here it is." Feng didn't mind, though, as he was already long used to Seliora's brazen behavior. Not to mention that he wasn't the same guy who got no pussy like in his previous life during this time, so he remained completely unaffected by Seliora's hot body that was sticking close to him and merely retrieved the Broken Steel Forging Design from his bag.

"The person who drew this design must be insane! Is he trying to make a Legendary item?"

Seliora gaped in shock after inspecting the forging design. 

"Seli, if you have the materials, how confident are you in making it?" Feng asked casually out of curiosity, wanting to see if it would change because it was now a eight-piece set, and not noticing he had used his old nickname for Seliora which he used during his previous life.

Seliora blinked a few times after hearing how Feng had referred to her, but something came to her mind which made her forget about it as her expression changed "You really have the materials?" Her gaze as she looked at Feng was as if she were looking at a Seven Luminaries Crystal Mountain, and she beamed at him as if saying, "Tycoon, let's be friends!"

"I was only asking." Feng shook his head.

"Around 20%. If you give me more time to practice, I can raise it to 30%." Seliora rolled her eyes at Feng, feeling slightly disappointed. However, her interest in producing the Broken Steel Set Equipment still burned brightly.

"Thirty percent? I'll have to trouble you, then. I will try my best to collect the materials required."

"Since you have entrusted this task to me, I will continuously research this forging design, while you gather the materials. As for the cost of making it, I won't charge you anything if it is unsuccessful," Seliora said happily.

In God's Domain, one needed to pay an exorbitant labor fee when commissioning a forger—be they players or NPCs—of Master rank and above to produce an item, regardless of the final result. Now, however, Seliora offered not to charge him should she fail. It could be seen just how happy Seliora was right now.

Currently, Feng was in no hurry to produce the Broken Steel Set Equipment. Following which, Feng left the Broken Steel Forging Design at Seliora's place to allow her to properly study it, before heading back to the Starstreak Trading Firm and logging off. 

Feng's Concentration was still very much exhausted after the battle he had with the Blade Saint's Will, and he needed to log off and properly rest. 

It was already early morning in the real world. As his body had been in the virtual gaming cabin all this time, the moment he stepped out of the cabin, his stomach growled a hungry complaint. However, his body did not feel any discomfort. On the contrary, he felt extremely relaxed.

During the time Feng had spent logged into God's Domain, the virtual gaming cabin had assisted his body with absorbing the S-rank Nutrient Fluid, and with Feng's own current Physique, it was already completely absorbed. 

Feng glanced at the other virtual gaming cabin in his room, in which Fire was logged in, and decided not to bother her as she was currently taking the Class Change Quest for the Atrocity's Legacy. 

He then left his bedroom and heated up one of the instant meals he and Fire had bought to eat. As Feng was having breakfast, he was also looking through the various messages sent to him by Blackie and the others about the updates of the Workshop's current condition and the people they had managed to bring in which needed to have their memories returned. 

However, when Feng saw one of the messages, a faint smile appeared on his face. 

After finishing up his meal, Feng tidied himself and left for Zero Wing's Workshop. 

As soon as he arrived, Feng saw many of the members working out and improving their bodies. Although some noticed him walking in, they either didn't know him, as Feng only came to the Workshop to return some people's memories and immediately left, or they knew who he was but didn't bother him as they knew he probably had things to do since he was here. 

Feng then had one of the Workshop's managers, who already had their memories returned, bring in some people who he needed to reincarnate. 

After constantly pushing himself to the limit everyday while returning people's memories, the number of people who he can manage to bring back had increased from fifteen a day to twenty a day. Although it wasn't too large of an increase, it was still decent considering his current low Mental Strength. 

As Feng returned a few Zero Wing member's memories, the three people he was waiting for arrived. They were none other than Melancholic Smile, Cream Cocoa and Roasted Ironheart. He then had them come to his office one by one and returned their memories while giving them instructions on what they should do from now on after logging back into God's Domain. 

He also gave some special instructions to Melancholic about the things she should do, buy and watch out for which he previously could not due to her limited knowledge and him not being able to reveal that he knew about the future; as well as telling Cocoa about having a surprise prepared for her after she logged back into God's Domain and checked Zero Wing's Warehouse for something he only gave her access to, which was the Book of Creation and Dragonclaw Set Forging Design. 

After which, Feng left his office and went to the part of the Workshop where the Zero Wing members who lived in the Workshop stayed. 

There was another reason for why Feng came to the Workshop today.
