29 LEGENDS ALSO RUN

Kent who just dodge and parried the projectiles, that were shot at him couldn't get a breather as the two beasts didn't stop attacking.

They continued on shooting more and more projectiles non-stop increasing in number from two to ten threatening to hunt him down.

He looked at the two beast shooting at him and could see a wide grin in their faces.

"This damn beasts, they're smiling! Bastards…"

Kent moving from side to side dodging and sometimes swinging his sword to deflect the attacks that could end up being fatally dangerous couldn't help cursing.

These two bastards were no doubt going to be tough opponents to hunt down, probably the toughest he had faced so far after reincarnating back to the past.

He was not even sure if he could fight such a beast presently as there were two of them and there is a huge Tier level gap between them.

If the enemy is single, he might be able to fight back in a hard battle.

Unfortunately, such thoughts is nothing but a wishful thinking for he is about to die while mocked by two beasts.

He had a frown in his face as he busily dodges the rain of attacks, at the same time running through different scenarios in his mind, trying to find a plausible way for him to change the situation.

Health – 76/132

He couldn't efficiently dodge each projectile as the speed of each attack reached a number of up to 180 feet (54.86 m) per second.

Kent relied on his natural reaction speed that been trained for centuries of experience, using this he started predicting the attacks that were as fast as an arrow.

Kent's "HEALTH" begun dropping down as the time passed by, he needs to think fast and find a way to destroy the beasts currently perfect momentum.

Gritting his teeth, it seemed like the only option for him to escape from such current dire scenario is to use it.

However, using it could also lead to a fast death, and it's not enough to deal with two snakes.

"Why am I hesitating?"

Time seemed to slowed have down Kent's mind became clearer as the useless thoughts in his mind vanished, the hesitation that has been holding him back disappear.

Sword Technique, Demons Carnage

Peng! Peng! Peng…

Kent's movements suddenly increase multiple times deflecting every single projectile throwing them to the side.

But at the same moment he used the sword technique, unbearable pain run throughout his muscles and bones assaulting him hard.

He endured holding back screaming, he has begun throwing out a mouthful of blood.

Kent's eyes turned bloodshot, ignoring the pain his thought accelerated multiple times quickly calculating the surrounding geography, virtualizing a replica in his brain running possible scenarios.

This is Kent's natural "INHERENT TRAIT" since birth, "PARALLEL THOUGHT ACCELERATION" allows him to process multiple thoughts at the same time and in a speed thousands of time faster than what any computer could achieve.

Kent's current level 11 human body that has yet to be reformed to perform such complex technique [Myth Grade Sword Technique] obviously couldn't withstand the unbelievable speed and strange movements he performed, resulting for his insides to start breaking apart.

Unlike the techniques he had previously performed, Demon Carnage, Sword Technique is a Myth grade technique league's above surpassing the other ones.

The technique possessed various effects but for the moment Kent can only use a tiny portion of its power, but this portion is enough to almost kill him.

He didn't have a choice, as each attack the two beasts send carried too much strength on them for him to just deflect them.

If things were to continue as they are it wouldn't take too long before he meet his demise.

So, Kent was force to use Demon Carnage, Sword Technique, the only option for him to have a few seconds of leeway, this few seconds was what he needed to change the current one-sided situation.

"I can't die here." Kent shouted.

Time seemed to have slowed down for Kent.

Unfortunately, this only applied to his perception due to his accelerated thoughts.

"I can't die here." Kent repeated.

Searching hard, out of the numerous possibilities he could pick, only one allowed him to survive.

"I can't die here." Kent in his shambled thoughts repeated the same words back to back.

"I've survived life and death battles for centuries, there's no way I am dying to the hand of some lowly, D Tier Level Beast."

He shouted in a bit of raspy tone, still enduring the pain coursing in his insides.

Kent made his move, a momentary flash of blinding light occurred.

Movement Technique, Flashing Light Step

Using this bit of opportunity Kent was able to quickly distance himself, a few meters quite far from the beasts, he didn't bother looking back, quickly running straight to the opposite direction.

The two beasts recovering from the sudden flash of light could see their prey running quite a distance, this infuriated the beast, they then move quickly chasing after their meal.

Kent in a speed that shouldn't have been possible for his current level passed through beautiful ancient trees and tick tall grasses, moving like that of a panther maneuvering from spot to spot avoiding everything that blocked his path.

'Run, run faster just like what you always do run….'

He began pushing himself hard, his mind a bit unstable.

The chaise continues for another minute or so, the two beasts tailing him didn't seem to give up.

Kent, on the other hand, is already panting hard due to pushing his self to the point of using a technique that end up injuring him.

There's also the problem about his stamina that's slowly but surely depleting.

Quite a distance in front him, he could see several fang monkeys atop trees looking at him, preparing for an ambush.

The fang monkeys didn't bother hiding, knowing beforehand that the prey didn't have any other choice but to run into their trap, as the other paths were either block or more dangerous.

Kent, stepping on the trap the clever fang monkeys prepared, couldn't help but be a bit infuriated for someone like him to fall to some lowly beast trap.

Fourteen, monkeys jump from the trees, baring their long, sharp claws and fangs at him.

Kent closed his eyes, the same time activating [Supreme Sense] then just as he opened them a sudden cold glint and unknown pressure spread throughout the vicinity, directly affecting the ambushing monkeys.

Due to the sudden distraction, a single second opportunity open up, but this single second was all it took for a reversal to occur.

Sword Technique, Swirling Tempest

The saber rotated 3 times from bottom to top creating a perfect circular arc motion, tearing apart the fangs monkeys into pieces.

Swoosh… Slash! Slash! Splatter…

[You have killed a fang monkey]

Notifications continuously started popping out.

Numerous severed limbs started dropping down, followed by a rain of blood, terrorizing anyone.

Instantly, fourteen fang monkeys that thought they were the clever hunters got hunted.

The other fang monkeys observing in the sidelines couldn't help but be shocked to the sudden, unexpected development.

These fang monkeys quickly escaped fast to the opposite side, running for their lives, afraid that Kent would start slaughtering them.
