CHAPTER 29 : LERNAEAN HYDRA 2

while everyone was running at all direction, the streets became a waist Land, not a single soul could be seen anywhere, everybody was either hiding or running, but that's when the Blood brigade appeared, the brigade flew on their sword while surrounding the viscous monster, but the monster acted like they were bugs.

' we are here to rule this world '

' you, humans will tremble at our fist '

' your end has come '

' prepare for you doom '

' because humanity must fall '

' for we are the LERNAEAN HYDRA '

each head said glaring at the blood brigade with a horrible killing intent, but the brigade didn't budge, rather they each threw out a yellow talisman and made strange hand signs .

" you fowl monster, we are the blood brigade, protectors of this capital, you have no right to come into this world to claim it as yours " a young man said, he seemed to be the leader of the brigade, he had the stench of arrogance and pride.

' if I defeat this monster, I will be honored by the king himself, I will be known as the saviour of the silver capital, I might even get the hand in marriage of his beautiful daughter ' the man thought as a huge grin appeared on his face.

he signalled his subordinates to start the activation of the binding talisman, they made the final sign as as huge chains came out of each talisman, wrapping around the hydra which didn't even move for some reason.

when the chains were wrapped around the hydra that could restrict it's movement at any cost, a smug smile appeared on the brigade leader's face.

" wow, the blood brigade are so awesome "

" they are our future "

" I want to be just like the captain "

" they are so cool "

" we are saved " all kinds of things were said as the arrogance of the brigade went up to their heads, they smiled as if they had won, well..., their moment came crashing to the ground because of what the hydra did next, the huge creature raised his hand, a singe claw to be exact and touched the chain making a cling sound. the huge heavy chain soon melted of the hydra, the hydra looked at them , as if saying ' you call this a binding talisman . when the brigade saw this, their smile turned upside down as the leader screamed " attack with all you've got.

******* an hour later

the blood brigade were exhausted, an hour had passed and they finally severed one of the hydra's head, a smile grew on the captain's face then suddenly two head grew out from the severed one, the blood brigade couldn't believe what they were seeing, but they didn't have enough time to even believe because one of the hydra's head opened his mouth and a huge ball of fire formed in it before it shot out, destroying everything on it's path.

the hydra started moving, destroying everything it sees, but on an empty road which not a living soul could be seeing, a boy wearing headphones over his hoodie could be seeing walking straight ahead holding a few stuffed bags, this person was no other than astra, he had finished his night shopping and decided to take a stroll in the deserted streets, twilight academy was located at the outskirts of the capital it was a three hour drive to get here, so all together if your going to and from twilight academy it was a six hour drive.

he was listening to a soothing song that helped him relax, his head facing downwards as he enjoyed the song, just as he was about to take another step, he was met with a gigantic scaly foot of what seemed to be a lizard.

' a human dares to see us and not cower '

' he shall be punished severely '

' brothers let us make him wish for death to come '

' I want to hear his scream '

each of the hydra's head said looking at astra in annoyance, they clearly didn't know who he was nor did he know who were they, as they continued to talk about Astra's demise, he just walked passed them as if it wasn't his business, the hydra head were stunned and angered at his arrogance but truthfully astra was tired and angry so he didn't want any trouble, he just minded his business and walked on his own.

the hydra suddenly threw an empty school bus, blocking his path, astra seeing the bus suddenly blocking his way slightly frowned, he turned around to see many red eyes glaring at him, he walked towards them and stopped a few inches away from the hydra , they bent their necks looking down on him, ready to devour him whole, but.... that didn't happen, astra stretched his empty right hand forward and flicked at the air.

a huge hole had appeared in the hydra's belly, all the head looked at their stomach then at the young boy who just flicked the air,

' im..p.ossible ' the hydra heads said in unison before it fell on it's back, and a huge pool of blood flowing freely from the creature, astra whom didn't pay attention at the monster simply about turn and walked away.
