The Ego Skill, Seventh Prince of the Underworld, Leviathan of Greed.

After I fell unconscious, I wandered around inside a void of emptiness. It was all pitch-black, Nothing to be seen by the naked eye.

I could freely move my body without any restraints, But there was nothing for me to do, As I gravitated in an unknown abyss.

[You seem to be wandering around.]

A husky voice suddenly appeared, That it instantly got my full attention.

I immediately surveyed my surroundings, But there was nothing to be seen, It's as if I was floating in outer space.

[Hey User, Can you hear me?]

"Who are you?" I asked, My words were filled with curiosity, Trembling to know who was the person speaking.

[I am Leviathan, Your Skill. But you can call me Greed.] The voice responded as it serenade and echoed all over the void of emptiness.

Leviathan? Greed? My skill? What does he mean?" I pondered in curiosity.

"Uh... What do you mean? Can you explain in a more understandable way?"

[Sigh.. Fine.]

As soon as the voice responded, A vivid memory or Should I say Information, Instantly flooded through my brain as it enveloped my eyes with infinite imagery that almost blinded me.

The pitch black place I've been levitating instantly turned bright and alot of things were shown, As if I was recalling them one by one. After it all appeared in an instant, My doubts about the Demons existing instantly faded after learning it from a Demon himself.

Leviathan, The Seventh Prince of the Underworld. The Primordial Huntsman Spider Demon King known as Greed, Who had insatiable hunger for more power.

His thirst for power could not be quench easily, As his title indicates his existence. He desires everything, May it be Wealth, Fame, Power and Authority.

A Supreme being that is amongst the Seven Princes of the Underworld.

He who has been dispatched by the World God himself was sent to the realm of the living in an envelope such as the Skills.

Metaphorically speaking, He was placed inside a Skill to which I received.

But in order to be released, Assimilation was needed. After my Reincarnation, It was already decided that he would become my Skill.

The lack of understanding that an Ego skill needed took time and comprehended everything I knew, Including my Previous life.

The String Manipulator Skill was just a part of his Power, More or less to say, A Temporary skill, Or it's inferior form for the time being before he successfully gets released from Assimilating my entire Existence.

And now that Greed has been released, I can slowly gain his power as time passes, Gaining experiences and new abilities to meet the Conditions of Unlocking Greed's full potential.

"Umm, Yes. But my head hurts like crazy... It's as if I was electrocuted." Axel replied.

[Kyahaha! That's only natural, I've also been struck by the same feeling for eight freaking years you know? Everything from your Previous life up until now have been promptly imprinted on my mind.]

"That must have hurt alot."

"But where am I? I suddenly fell unconscious after you got released."

[It'll take ten years, But in your world It'll be an hour.]

"Oh time flows differently in this space you've created?"

[Yes, This is how time in the Underworld flows.]

"I see." Axel responded, Not Hinting a single doubt after witnessing everything about Greed's existence.

"By the way Greed, What does the Sub Skill: Alter Ego mean? I recall that I've obtained a skill before falling unconscious."

[Oh so you're curious about it. Let's see... It's a skill that can let you switch with me for a time being.]

"Huh? So that means, You'll be possessing my body?"

[You could say that, But you'll be sent here in the world of my desire, And you'll also be able to see and communicate with me. You can say it's more like an auto-pilot mode.]

[Ofcourse! Kyahaha! I am cool alright!]

"Hehe, Hearing you laugh like that, It's as if you're the entire opposite of me."

[You're also correct about that. Ego skills are always being designated based on Compatibility. You can say I'm more of like your rebellious side. Kyahaha!]

[No need to be embarrassed, Since you'll be slowly unlocking my abilities. It's best for you to fully accept me.]

"I guess it make sense. But what other Skills could I unlock?" Axel asked, Showing hints of curiosity in his voice.

[You'll only be able to unlock the Inferior form of My abilities. Such as the skills you've currently obtained after your awakening.]

"So my sub skills are just the weak forms of your Abilities?"

[Yes, It'll all be unlocked once you've awakened my full power, But it could also be awakened by Using Alter Ego. Although you'll not be the one using it, But me. Kyahahaha!]

"You're laughing habit really makes me feel uncomfortable. But I guess that liveliness is what I was missing all along."

[Kyahaha! Do not worry for I will be accompanying you from now on. You'll get used to it. Kyahaha!]

[Anyway, It's best to tell you in advance. That once you switch with me, Your entirety would tremendously be boosted and will be used by me with a duration of two hours, But after it ends... You'll be entering Rest mode for two days.]

"So in exchange of letting you possess me, I'll be unconscious for two days?"

[Yes? I think? Only your body would be unconscious And your state of mind will be transported inside this world of mine, That is... For now.... But once you level up and unlock the conditions required, You'll be able to resist Rest mode and stay conscious.]

"Okay, I get it.. But how can I know about these conditions you speak of?"

Axel immediately turned upside down as he gravitated in the World of Desire.

[But eventually you'll know as you continue on what you do. Kyahahaha!]

Is this some kind of riddle....?" Axel wondered.

[Anyway, It's time for you to wake up now. Let's talk again later.]

"Wait!--- Before Axel could ask further more, His consciousness instantly blacked out and soon after woke up in the middle of the forest.

Ugh, I wanted to ask him if I can still talk to him even when I'm not inside the World of Desire.." Axel pondered, Slowly standing up from the ground he slept on.

[What do you mean? Ofcourse I can still communicate with you. Kyahaha!] Greed suddenly responded inside his mind, As if he read what Axel was thinking.

Huh!!? So we can communicate like this?" Axel asked through his mind.

[Yes, As I've said before. I'll be accompanying you on your journey from now on. So worry not my User! Kyahahaha!]

Okay, Okay... So please take care of me from now on, Greed." Axel replied wearing a relieved expression.

[Kyahaha! You can count on me!]

"Alright, For now I should head back towards the Central plains and inform Erza and the others about our whereabouts." He murmured to himself and started walking, Heading towards the Central plain's direction. To where the battle initially happened.

Meanwhile Erza could not sleep, Relentlessly worrying about Axel's existence. Wondering if he was okay, Or was he able to escape the Draconian Knights that followed them.

I should rest for now and worry about it tomorrow." Erza mumbled through her head and gently closed her eyes.

While other Monster people were already sleeping, Regenerating the energy they've used on the recent battle against the Draconian Knights.
