10 Chapter 8 : Did Clair ask me a favor?

After escaping from that unexpected hero drug raid Rey was currently in the clinic for a check up for his blunt injuries as for today. After that check up he still expect that the bill will be expensive since it's American health care. After that whole fiasco of a raid he then left the clinic after those injuries he have to take a break from vigilante work due to his crash injuries the doctor said that thanks to his coat and vest cushioning the impact but there are some small bruises which he as to be careful with a week off. He remembers what the doctor said to him as Rey wears his civilian clothes.

Since that day he became a vigilante he quit his job in the fast food restaurant as he has so much by selling some of the stolen stuff. From villain support items, weapons, parts, and even working military grade gear and items. He gained so much money that he planned to go to a architecture form to ask them to make him a Medium size Manor and a underground area with a large Vault to store his guns. A big workshop and a Anti-Radiation room and separate storage rooms one for radioactive materials, and the other is just a normal storage room and he wants it hidden for anyone to see is hidden but for Rey only to know where it is.

As he was walking in the park to the streets and entering shops and purchase some food and drink and even treating himself with a visit to the mall to buy some things like some new sets of clothes, some electronics, tools he needs for his small workshop, and some videogame consoles. He found that old game shop where they sell old games as Rey began to buy all of the games he used to play in his past life. He purchased Halo, Gears of War, Borderlands, COD, Tom Clancy's, Fallout, Metro, Atomic Heart, Homefront and some console games related with more guns and mostly FPS. After buying every game ha had in his past life he paid the cashier as he was shocked that someone buy this many games from the past as he left the store.

As soon as he was about to return home he then began to set up his Monitor and the PC he have to improve the computer's performance. And setting up his gaming area with a small flat screen TV, gaming consoles and thanks to the money he has a collapsible shelf to store all of his games. After setting up everything his gaming room is complete and began to play his games once more.

After an entire week later Rey fully recovered and returned to his vigilante work as he stepped outside of his window and with his parkour skills he easily traverse every building and obstacles with ease. Rey the went to his spot and began to shoot once more as villains and corrupt heroes were dropping like flies. Again and again and again as Rey was still getting chased down by many of the heroes as he gets away easily.

Rey was in his sniping position but inside of a billboard sign as he keeps on sniping until someone aimed their weapon right to his head. But Rey knew that would happen as he pointed his Ace of Spades from the back right at the gut of the assailant. Then Rey began to speak to the assailant that tried to take down Rey.

"So care to explain why keep on killing these villains and why not putting them behind bards" as that voice was Clair Voyance asking Rey.

"I only target the worst scumbags including those who proclaimed themselves hero even thought they have done too much to tainted the hero title" as Rey pulled the trigger as Clair evaded the shot as Rey makes a break for it.

Rey then began to vault, dash, climb, and rolled with all of the parkour skills he gained as he was running away from Clair as Clair Voyance used her quirk X-ray to find Rey as she found him. But Rey then used his breakthrough rifle to shoot through the wall and Clair knew this would happen because Zap attack told him be careful with his strange sniper rifle that can breakthrough walls. As Clair evaded thanks to her X-ray vision as she began to chase down Rey but Rey pulled out his zap gun and electricuted Clair Voyance and she was knocked out unconscious.

A few hours later

Clair woke up from the building as Rey was infront of her sitting in a chair looking at her as Clair tries to move but Rey Cuffed her easily as Clair was now capture by Rey aka Gunslinger. The notorious vigilante who killed about hundreds of villains and heroes but they were corrupt with his strange weaponry as her fate is now by the hands of the Gunslinger.

"Now care to explain why you're here? your supposed to be in another states if I remember that correctly" he said as Clair explained herself

"Ever since your debut you killed approximately 15 villains and Corrupt heroes by your hand and your ways are too extreme you should've kept them alive and-" but she was cut off by Rey.

"Waiting for the higher ups to let him go you know there are loopholes they could get out of the law and they'll continue their acts of harrassing and disturbing the peace of every innocent person...Oh Please you should've kill them off look there aren't any future crimes made by the same person" he said as Clair was pissed but Rey continued

"You know how fucked up our world is you know how quirks have the potential to have two things corrupt us or make us do something good for these gifts there a curse or a blessing. You know other kids are that corrupt already there like spoiled brats having everything they want but if they don't have the thing they want. They throw a tantrum and just destroy everything until they got the thing they want. Don't expect me to just go there and arrest the bastard they just do it again and again in an endless loop" he said as Clair was speechless at this point

"All I wanted to say is that these bastards are making hero society harsh and tainted the hero title was used to be earned. Not just gain it by just taking a few test I admire those old war veterans from WW2, Vietnam war, Iraq insurgent battles, Afghanistan battles, all those soldiers who fought wars I admire them. I want to earn it by just gaining the people's opinion of how much I have done for them. I hate the lime light to be honest but I just care about the easy and simple life they live while I do the dirty and harsh work like you good heroes but hey you have others who are that delusional but I don't care anyways" he said as Clair was silent from what The Gunslinger he only does this for the good for the civilians not just him being a psychopath killing for no reason.

As Clair gave in to the words or Rey that he didn't do this just for his entertainment but he does this for the good for the people As Clair asked Rey for a favor.

"Hey Gunslinger care for asking a favor for me" she said as Rey turned his head.

"I'm Listening what is it?" He asked

"Since you have a variety of guns care to give me one or just lent me one of your fine guns" she said as reg grabs his mule system and appears one of his railgun he made his spare the ACL-R 55 PREDATOR rifle infront of Clair with the ammo and batteries and a booklet containing instructions on how to use this gun and features.

As Rey uncuffed her and left the scene without any traces as Clair Voyance roams around the area of the building as she can't find him. As Clair looks at the gun Rey left for her with a note saying Here's your favor as she inspect the gun. She looks at it strangely since she doesn't see this type of gun until she saw the booklet Rey left with the gun's description, functions, types of ammunition, statistics, and procedures to use the gun easily. As Clair grabs the gun the ammo and the batteries and left the spot where she was face to face with Rey or the Gunslinger.
