20 Chapter 18: Presidential pardon and Mayor's Pardon

As everything returned to normal as Rey continued his escapades of being the Gunslinger as hero still trying to catch him until something unexpected happend that will shock both Rey and the heroes. As they were catching Rey as Rey was using his parkour skills and his guns to slow down the heroes until. A drone with a speaker began to approach the both of them.

"STOP YOUR CHASE THIS INSTANCE HEROES!!! I BRING AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF AND THE MAYOR OF TEXAS!!!"

As both parties stop including Rey as well as the both listen intently about the massage of the President and Mayor of Texas.

"From this day forward that the President of United States of America and with the Mayor of Texas to Give a presidential and Mayor's Pardon to all the crimes and actions to Gunslinger" as this make Rey's eyes widen as the Mayor and President is giving pardon to Rey's crimes as for the heroes they were dumbfounded that they are giving a presidential and Mayor's Pardon to Gunslinger.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN A PRESIDENTIAL AND MAYOR'S PARDON!?!?!?!?! Whats the meaning of this?!?!?!" Dirty Dan said with a shocked and surprised tone as other heroes complaining about this.

"This man is dangerous! You shouldn't give him that because of his guns and the potential to kill everyone Mr. president and not just that he will deceive you and kill us all" Zap attack said until

"You didn't see the part where the mayor meet him in person as his interest is to protect for both his country and home as he had used his guns and weaponry to protect his fellow Americans and have cleansed some of the worst criminals in Texas and even solved a lot of crimes and made sure every American family is safe no more victims and more suffering in America" as the President said as Rey was in a shocked state that he is given a Pardon straight from the president and Mayor.

Rey as he went thought a lot of hardwork to keep the streets clean from all of the worst criminals in history as well as exposing corruption. As Rey fell down to his knees and began to chuckle to this ad Rey then regain his posture as he looks at the heroes who wanted him behind bars.

"Guess what heroes...I win Bitch" as Rey Flipped them off as the heroes are defeated due to this.

Few days later

A lot of things had happen ever since I can't believe I'm now being awarded for not just the community but also the President, The Mayor, and even the Hero Association of America as well as I helped a lot. And even gave me a official hero liscence and now I'm an official hero now not just that they made it more harder to earn the hero title thanks to my personal experience with my encounters with many Criminals and Villains. The system is now making sure that any corrupt hero is inspected they will have two answers either they don't continue as a hero or they have to go a rehabilitation facility to fix their actions. And as for me I have improved a lot of things from the Police and Military like Gun modifications, New types of guns to make. And to make sure they are very hard to copy and even hard to get their hands on.

In the White House of the President

Rey changed his outfit to wear that will make him recognize him as a hero. He is now wearing cowboy hat, A long dark brown Trench coat, with Military tan boots, and Dark brown military Grade gloves, as he also wears a red wool fabric scarf with black rose engravings in the ends of the scarf. And carry with him are his Rifle, Pistol in his holster and he is wearing dark brown Cargo pants.

As there are so many cameras since the new hero is a former vigilante who have not just saved his home state but also saved the world. And has gained official rankings in America as he is currently number 14 hero of USA and he is now doing his first time in the limelight as he is the first hero who gained the hero title from his actions not by any test. As this was a big hit for many people as many gean to watch the news because of the new hero. As the President appeared to do small introductions and a small speech about what a hero is as he believes that a hero is not a person or a profession but an action belonging to one person who do it with his own work and contribute their life to service and to support others and inspires everyone.

"Without further a do what about we welcome our new hero and former Vigilante Gunslinger!!!" As the cameras are looking at the brick wall until the wall exploded into pieces as many were taking cover by the incoming flying debris.

"Sorry about that! I have to find a way to create a booming entrance right" Gunslinger or Rey McMillan said as his left hand is in his pocket and the other holding his Rocket launcher the Paingiver and his new hero outfit.

The crowd goes Wild as the new and inspiring hero arrived at the stage with applause, Screams of admiration, and cheers. As Rey approaches the podium as the President was willing to give the floor to Gunslinger.

"To be honest with you I didn't expect to become a hero in this way but hey I did it right I mean I didn't admit myself a hero since we'll you know how many bastards I killed right" he said as many knew the body count

"Anyways I have to say I thank you Mr. President, Mr. Mayor, The American Hero Association, Welp This was very surprising to me that I became a hero I mean a hero doesn't mean that you have to save lives but also to protect them and make sure Evry one is living easily. But there are moments that you saw yourself that some of them took advantage of this title to satisfy anyone's many temptations. But I am an honest man doing an honest work and made sure everyone is living life as safe as possible. You should know that we are human and we have limits on how much you have to deal with the number of things to do working to make sure everyone is alive. I was inspired by not just some hero I look up to but real heroes before it's professions. I admire War Veterans, Police men, Rescue workers, Healthcare employees. They were there before the profession of a hero is a thing they were the OGs back then until now. And guess what the title of hero was tainted and no one noticed it as I did my dirty work and cleaning it up now If you want a real hero then try and be one not just from mind but at heart alright, Thank you you guys" as the crowd gave Gunslinger a round of applause about his speech about what a real hero is all about.
