It was Budek, who had recently regained consciousness. His gigantic bear paw, charged with formidable power, stood between Chen Fan and Sakazuki. Budek's arms bore bruises as he took the brunt of the hit, and the massive bear paw plunged forward.

Sakazuki's right fist ignited with burning magma as he punched toward Budek, who had managed to delay him. But this act of bravery had severely injured Budek. His hands were stained with blood, and he'd been pushed back several meters from the sheer power of Sakazuki's punch.
However, Budek wouldn't back down. His eyes were unwavering, his determination unshaken. 'With me here, you won't be able to chase after him,' he declared.
But Sakazuki was angered by the opposition. 'You can die, wicked pirate,' he spat, as he attacked again, delivering another punch with his magma-infused fist.
Chen Fan couldn't bear to see this act of heroism end in vain. 'No!' he cried out. But he knew he had to escape.
With a heavy heart, Chen Fan dove into the sea, recognizing that his only chance at avenging his master lay in escaping. At the port, Sakazuki watched as Chen Fan swam out nearly a hundred meters and then vanished beneath the surface."
