After conveying his intentions, he headed straight for the exit with Budek.

The pirates, witnessing their imminent departure, erupted in protests:

"Don't flee, young one! You can't escape on your own. Unshackle me, and I'll aid your escape!"

"Take me with you, and I'll bestow my entire fortune upon you!"

"Please, don't leave without me. I yearn for freedom!"

The pirates desperately implored, seeing a glimmer of hope. They were determined to avoid a lifetime of imprisonment. Some offered to join Chen Fan's crew, while others began to beg earnestly.

However, Chen Fan remained resolute and unwavering, paying no heed to their pleas. He had grander plans for these pirates—plans that involved enlisting their assistance in their breakout.

"Chen Fan, let's go!" urged Budek after unlocking the door.

"Not yet," Chen Fan responded with confidence. He discerned the sound of an approaching elevator and chaotic footsteps on the stairs.

Budek's face was fraught with anxiety, but he had no choice but to trust Chen Fan's judgment.

"Three, two, one," Chen Fan whispered as he counted down. Then, he dropped the keys into their respective cells.

The pirates were elated to find the lost keys and wasted no time thanking Chen Fan. They hastily removed their restraints, preparing to make their escape.

"Let's move," Chen Fan instructed, leading the way to the stairs. Budek, anxious but hopeful, followed closely behind.

Chen Fan's intention was to release the pirates and create chaos before making their escape amid the ensuing commotion. He deliberately waited to ensure he would be the swiftest to flee.

This prison was theoretically under the authority of Magellan, the formidable warden. Given his position, Magellan would undoubtedly be the first to respond to such an incident.

With only two ways up—the stairs and the elevator—Chen Fan had taken a calculated gamble, opting for the stairs and betting that he would avoid encountering Magellan.

Chen Fan and Budek reached the fourth floor, encountering a contingent of jailers who had hastily ascended. Magellan was conspicuously absent from their ranks, and Yuzhi Xiliu, another high-ranking official, was also not present. Instead, there were miscellaneous soldiers.

"Major General Budek, eliminate them and break free together," Chen Fan instructed Budek.

The two of them launched an assault on the approaching jailers, making quick work of the lower-ranking officers who were no match for their combined might.

"Yuzhi Xiliu, if you head for the stairs, you must stop that scion of Wang Zhi. Leave this to me," Magellan ordered Yuzhi Xiliu, who begrudgingly complied.

"Are you sure you can handle these many pirates?" Rain Xiliu asked, aware of the formidable reputation these pirates held in the New World.

"Trust me, you cannot let that culprit escape. I order you as the warden," Magellan emphasized sternly.

"Despicable individual, I'll begrudgingly heed your command this time," Yuzhi Xiliu grumbled.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Yuzhi Xiliu joined the fray, combating the liberated pirates.

The pirates, now filled with newfound hope, engaged in a fierce struggle to break free, clamoring for their release. Some expressed their desire to join Chen Fan's crew, while others offered their wealth as incentive.

Chen Fan remained unfazed, resolute in his purpose. He had grander plans for these pirates, and he was determined to enlist their help in their daring escape.

"Chen Fan, let's go," urged Budek, anxious to make their exit.

"Not yet," Chen Fan replied calmly. He had anticipated the elevator's arrival and the ensuing chaos, strategically timing their actions.

As the minutes ticked away, they reached the climax of their plan. After ten minutes of relentless combat, the rain was heavily battered and bruised.

"Wheeze... Huff..." Rain panted heavily, clearly on the losing end of the battle against the two formidable opponents.

Budek's expression soured as he realized that the longer the fight dragged on, the more dangerous it became for them.

Without hesitation, Budek unleashed his Devil Fruit powers, his body swelling in size until he transformed into a massive bear. The bear's enormous paw lunged at Yuzhi Xiliu, demonstrating the power of Budek's Animal Line Bear Fruit.

With this transformation, Budek's strength doubled, and he easily overpowered Yuzhi Xiliu, who was already fatigued.

Chen Fan, too, unleashed his own powers, covering his arms in a dark, matter-like substance. He relentlessly assaulted Yuzhi Xiliu with a series of powerful punches.

Yuzhi Xiliu found himself overwhelmed by the combined might of his opponents. As the battle raged on, he was gradually pushed into a corner, unable to mount a proper defense.

However, Yuzhi Xiliu's armed color Haki reached its second level, allowing him to put up a formidable fight. He marveled at Chen Fan's strength but remained defiant.

"Your strength is impressive. It's time I received a challenge," Yuzhi Xiliu said with a hint of arrogance. He brandished his famed Thunderstorm blade, surging with tremendous power.

Chen Fan and Budek, undaunted, launched their most potent attacks.

"Navy Six Style Uyi Overlord Fist!" Chen Fan's entire body turned crimson as his internal organs roared with power. His green tendons protruded as his fists darkened. He channeled his formidable strength into a single point, his entire body boiling with energy. His punch, charged with overwhelming power, collided head-on with Yuzhi Xiliu's white sword qi.

Budek, too, channeled his blood and Qi into his arm, which had transformed into a colossal bear paw coated with dark substance. He disappeared from sight and charged toward Yuzhi Xiliu.

The ensuing clash resulted in a massive explosion. Rubble flew in every direction, and dust obscured the scene as the surroundings were laid to waste. Yuzhi Xiliu's white sword qi pushed Budek back, but before he could celebrate, Chen Fan's pitch-black fist shattered the white sword qi.

Yuzhi Xiliu, unable to evade the incoming punch, hastily raised his Thunderstorm blade to shield himself.

A resounding collision echoed through the air as Chen Fan's punch met Yuzhi Xiliu's blade head-on. The powerful impact sent Yuzhi Xiliu hurtling backward, crashing into the ground with a painful thud. His famed blade fell from his grasp.

Blood oozed from the corners of his mouth, and he struggled to stand but found himself overwhelmed by pain and weakness. He eventually lost consciousness, leaving him defenseless.

Chen Fan, about to deliver the finishing blow, paused upon hearing Budek's urgent warning.

"Clear the way! Be cautious!" Budek shouted, prompting Chen Fan to retreat hastily.

Sensing danger, Chen Fan swiftly moved back, his Haki-infused senses alert.
