With his head spinning, Chen Fan opened his eyes.

"Strange, why am I here?" Chen Fan realized he was in a prison, his hands bound in chains. What was even more peculiar was that he appeared to be about twelve or thirteen years old.

Before him, iron bars confined his view, dimly lit by a faint light within the cell. Chen Fan contemplated his situation.

He remembered the events of his last mission. He had been betrayed by the leader and had ultimately defeated all the assassins who had ambushed him. Yet, he had also perished in the ensuing explosion.

Before Chen Fan could examine his surroundings further, a sharp pain surged through his head, and a torrent of memories flooded his mind, overwhelming him like a massive ship. It took several minutes for Chen Fan to regain his composure.

From those memories, Chen Fan understood that he had been captured by the Navy. His original identity was full of promise; he was a general on the Rocks Pirates ship and the son of the Silver Axe King, Zhi. However, at this moment, he found himself in Navy custody, and the fate of his father appeared uncertain.

In the original body's memories, while he was in a coma, his father had been in a fierce battle with Karp.

"Isn't the Navy out of their minds? They've captured a child like me and locked me up on the sixth floor of Advance City," grumbled an immensely rough voice from a nearby corner.

Chen Fan realized that a large man, nearly three meters tall, was confined in the same cell, his hands and feet shackled with chains. Hearing the big man's words, Chen Fan's expression soured. He had been reborn into the world of One Piece, and he had been excited at the prospect. He used to be a skilled assassin, and he possessed some knowledge about One Piece. His original plan had been to use that knowledge to rise to the top. Now, however, he found himself on the sixth floor of Advance City, seemingly without any strength.

While he had once possessed exceptional physical fitness on Earth, it seemed that in this world of One Piece, he was no stronger than an ordinary Marine soldier. A child with barely any strength, imprisoned in the legendary and perilous Advance City - this was a nightmarish start.

"Boy, why aren't you responding? Are you so scared that you've lost your voice?" the big man taunted with a grin.

"Alright, Barrick, don't frighten the kid. Maybe he's just stunned," another voice chimed in. "But seriously, the Navy is getting more and more daring, imprisoning a child on the sixth floor of Advance City."

"Yes, it's true. Each one of us here has a bounty in the hundreds of millions, and this kid is stuck in here with us."

Amidst the laughter and comments of the other inmates, Chen Fan remained indifferent. He lacked the strength and spirit to engage with them.

He began to sift through his memories, wanting to determine the timeline he was in. Although his situation was dire, he was reborn with a chance for a new beginning. After sorting through his memories, Chen Fan concluded that the year was 1494 in the Haiyuan calendar. In this era, Roger had not yet found One Piece, and the Admirals like Red Dog had not risen to prominence.

This timeline provided him with an advantage; he knew what the future held. His thoughts turned to the Thunder Fruit on the Empty Island. In this time period, Enel had not yet consumed the Thunder Fruit, a formidable source of power.

However, Chen Fan's excitement waned when he considered his current predicament. Trapped on the sixth floor of Advance City, he lacked the means to escape, let alone seize great power.

After organizing his thoughts, Chen Fan's expression darkened. There were only two viable escape plans, and neither appeared promising. The first option was to wait for Gol D. Roger's capture and then attempt an escape during the chaos. However, this would take several years at best. The second option was to strengthen himself within the prison, but breaking out from the sixth floor of Advance City presented an immense challenge.

In both scenarios, Chen Fan needed to become stronger. He decided to focus on increasing his strength first.

Surveying his surroundings, Chen Fan could barely make out the dimly lit cell. He noticed that some inmates were chained with four sets of shackles, while others, like himself, had only one handcuff on their wrists.

Curiosity prompted him to ask, "Why are some people bound with four chains while others have just one handcuff?"

"Interesting, the kid can talk! We thought you were too scared to speak," one man chuckled.

"We even thought you might have some hidden strength, but it turns out you're just a kid. The Navy is truly blind to put you on the same level as us," another inmate commented.

An elderly man, who seemed to have been silent for a long time, decided to explain. "Kid, those who are bound with chains possess Devil Fruit abilities of immense power. The four sets of shackles are designed to suppress their abilities. As for those with just one handcuff like us, hidden inside are iron needles that attach to our wrists. If we use too much force to break the handcuffs, the iron needles will sever our tendons and muscles. Even if we have Devil Fruit powers, these Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs significantly diminish our strength. Some of us are so weakened that we can't even muster the strength to throw a punch. You, young one, have one handcuff."

Chen Fan absorbed this information, realizing the limitations of his situation. His only hope now lay in gaining strength to escape this predicament.
