Time and Changes

On the blue star, time has never been known to wait for anyone, and the same was true here in Elias a world of swords and magic

Now seven years had passed since Arthur first met the elves, and a lot of changes had taken place since that time

First would be the soul world, right now five additional stars had been added to the sky with hundreds of miniature ones beside them

In these seven years, Arthur had only managed to become a fourth circle mage and a master swordsman, and this was even with the feedback of his new dependents

Yes, it seemed like becoming the strongest wasn't something that could be done overnight, however, thanks to this Arthur was able to get five more dependents with his increased strength

Alucard the vampire king, Leona the slime queen, Dalia the ghoul lord, Kane the lone werewolf and Arachne the spider queen.

The five of them were all rescued by him during these seven years just like the elves and after a bit of convincing from Mio, Ava and Anna, Arthur managed to get them to join his cause.

Not only that, but Arthur found out that apart from gaining feedback in their training, he could also use their unique attributes and abilities.

Because of this, his true strength was enough to defeat a sixth circle mage even though he was just a fourth circle, something no one would believe especially since the gap between each stage is so large that leapfrog battles are practically impossible in Elias.

"However, the seed of chaos hunh?"

"No matter how many years pass, I can never seem to figure you out"

Standing shirtless with sweat dripping down his forehead, Arthur murmured as he swung a wooden sword in the Thornehearts private training ground

Away from the sights of all knights, maids and the feeling of growing stronger with his effort, unknowingly the training ground had become one of Arthur's favorite spots in the whole mansion

And now as the thought of all the things that brought him the most surprise these years, only three things could indisputably remain in his top three with the first being the chaos seed being the first

About the seed, although he could only choose a certain number of dependents based on his current strength

But Arthur found put his dependents didn't seem to have that limit as over the years the eight of them have created a batch of second-generation dependents without his knowledge

Thinking about this, he couldn't help but get a headache

Fortunately, there wasn't any harm in this rather there were still a lot of benefits such as their guaranteed loyalty to him 

Sadly, while the seeds still retain their functions, it's on a much smaller scale than when he directly issues them

First is that the feedback he gets from them is way less since his direct dependents who issued the seed also get a share, also he can't use their unique abilities much like he can his direct dependents

However, none of that really matters as thanks to this function, Arthur seemed to his demon army being slowly formed in the shadows waiting for him to strike

"But then again those cults, what are they and why are they so active lately?"

Looking down at the sword in his hand Arthur of the second thing that surprised him the most these years was the amount of turmoil all through the world of Elias, even Dragonborne empire wasn't safe

Over these seven years, all kinds of cultist said to be welcoming the return of their rulers sprung up like bamboo shoots

Committing all kinds of crimes and atrocities such as massacres, mass sacrifices illegal experiments, kidnapping, organized crime, theft, and terrorism and even plans to overthrow the empire.

Right now, even his parents had been summoned to the kingdom borders to help serve as a last line of defense while he remained here with Amos

Plus adding to the fact that surrounding countries and empires had begun to make moves giving signs of a world war, Arthur smelled the faint fumes of war looming in the air, not just any war but a world war

In his search for other demons, Arthur had clashed with all kinds of cultists making him particularly familiar with them and if he were to use one word to describe them

Arthur couldn't help but think of any other word like 'Lunatic'

A bunch of lunatics who wanted to lead the world into complete chaos and destruction

as someone who was going to become the future demon king, Arthur couldn't rule in a destroyed world so because of this, he and the cult have had multiple clashes over the years.

And as for the last thing-

"Young master! There is a problem! The young miss has been kidnapped!" just as Arthur was about to speak, a young maid ran into the training room panting as fast as she could

However, after seeing Arthurs muscular upper body, blue eyes and long silver hair drenched in sweat she couldn't help but stammer a bit

Fortunately, after realizing the seriousness of the matter, she quickly regained her composure Explaing to Arthur what had just happened

"Young master, just now when Sir Amos and the young miss where walking in the garden the got attacked by some masked people."

"Now Sir Amos is unconscious and in critical condition while the young miss was taken away!"

'What should we do? The Madam and head of the house are to far to do anything now!"

Dropping on her knees the maid began to cry as she realized if anything happened to the young miss, neither her nor any of the servants in this house would be spared from the backlash

However, unlike the reaction she expected. After hearing all this Arthur didn't say anything rather, he just frowned for a bit before taking out a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe his sweat

"Alright Elena, I've heard you. Just don't worry about it and leave it to me, I'll handle it," Said Arthur

And Elena seeing this, she couldn't help but want to say something else but after seeing Arthurs dead serious eyes she didn't say anything anymore

Rather after wiping her tears, she just stood and left the room as quickly as she had come

"Anna did you hear that?" looking down at the shadow under his feet, Arthur spoke to it like it was a person

And sure enough, after wriggling for about a few seconds, a familiar figure jumped out kneeling down before him

Anna the blood elf of blood and darkness, as well as Arthurs personal shadow

"Yes master, I have already contacted the others and we have already deployed all available forces to find the young miss" 

Hearing this Arthur still didn't say anything, however from the looks of his face alone anyone one could tell he was really angry this time

The young miss or rather Sabrina Thorneheart, his younger sister and third surprise over the years.
