Not only that, but a multitude of races existed such as the elves who lived in the forest of life, the dwarves who were known as the best blacksmiths, the dragons who were awed for their supreme strength but low numbers, the humans who dominated most of the continent and so many more

And perhaps it was his luck, Ye Tian was reborn was reborn in the humanities second most powerful empire

The dragonborn empire! Rumored to be named after their first king who slayed a dragon, the dragonborn empire is a kingdom of both mages and knights with the Thorneheart family he was born into not only a viscounty but a famous mage family

However, while the dragonborn empire can be ranked second in terms of strength among human empires, the light theocracy which preaches about the god of light and salvation ranks third

And the sorcerer kingdom which is also known as the mage heaven was ranked first in terms of strength, had it not been for the dragonborn empire having a king who was also a sword king and an 8th rank magician, in a world where 9th ranks don't exist, then it would have long been swallowed up by the sorcerer kingdom.

"However, magic!"

Thinking of the fact that swords and magic exist, Arthur couldn't help but feel excited thinking that his goal he wasn't able achieve in his last life may succeed in this one

"The strength to do what you want, whenever you want!"

"To be the hero who is worshiped by all, or to be the demon king who is shunned by others!"

"Although I don't know what this life may hold for me, but I welcome it with both arms wide open!"

Smiling from ear to ear, Arthur couldn't help but feel excited as he thought for the future

Feeling, this, he once again turned toward the piano ready to play another piece from his former life, a habit he had developed over the course of the past year after realizing his family had a piano in this world

However, a blonde-haired young maid beside him suddenly spoke interrupting his actions

"Um young master, the master and the madam said you should make your way to the main meeting room"

"a mage from the royal capital is here to conduct your mana awakening!"

Saying this, the sounded more excited that Arthur who was about to awaken his mana.

In fact, this was actually true as regarding the mana awakening Arthur wasn't too excited as in this world almost everyone can awaken one of two types of energies

Aura or Mana, those who use aura eventually grow into powerful sword saints and sword kings while those who awaken mana become noble mages wielding all kinds of spells at their arsenal

And for Arthur who was about to awaken, it was taken for granted that as a Thorneheart he would undoubtedly awaken mana

After all his mother Serphina Thorneheart was a fifth rank life mage at age thirty, and his Elias Thorneheart was a 6th rank fire mage at age fourty with both of them having potential to reach the eighth rank 

If anything, the only thing Arthur wondered about was what element he would have affinity for

After all, his mother was a rare life mage and his dad a fire mage which was known for its overwhelming attack

So, with this in mind, before following the maid to the meeting room. Arthur decided to do one more check

And sure enough, much to his disappointment there was still no change

Looking at the property panel, apart from the added details thanks to his new life as Arthur, the rest were still in question marks

Not only that but for the fact that the seed seemed to be completely dead an couldn't answer any questions let Arthur no choice but to figure it out

"However, why is the race human with a question mark? Could it be that I'm not fully human?" Said Arthur, but after thinking about it for a bit he couldn't come up with any answers

"sigh.. hopefully something changes during the awakening"

Saying, this Arthur could only sigh as he hoped this oncoming awakening would finally bring changes to the seed
