Touch and Go
Prince Qui could hear the lively chatter of the people outside of his tent because of the postponed battle. They all saw a new day, and he wished that they were not celebrating as much.
All he could think about was that he was right that he had summoned more soldiers here. His opponent had to have a lot of knowledge in warfare—the basics at least—if he knew enough not to attack someone on a mountain.
He had been pacing around his tent, imagining the subsequent scenarios on his mind. He wanted to stop too to rest, but he knew that his mind would not let him anyway. He knew that the other things he was thinking about would not be relevant to the actual outcome. The ball was actually in The Traveling Nightmare's court.
Another thing that was for sure was that the other camp leader saw what they had and would probably try to at least even the competition. He saw how many men Heping had and what gadgets they carried with them.
But how?
