Chapter 2

Gu Man looked at the stranger who was now on the bike.

Gu Man' Just who are you. And why help someone like me.' Unknown to her looking at the strangers back she had a tiny hint of red creep up on her cheeks.

45 minutes later she and Isaiah had made it to the hospital. Tho she didn't know that as She was tightly squeezing Isaiah from behind. If he was being completely honest he didn't hate the feeling of her grabbing him like that but he knew she had more important things to do.

So after nudging Gu Man, she realized they were at the hospital and thanked Isaiah with an even tighter hug.

Isaiah" It's alright miss Gu Man, but you should hurry to your daughter."

Gu Man" Mhh, thank you soo much." Just as Gu Man was about to leave Isaiah gave her his number so if she needed anything she could just call him.

While watching her figure leave, Isaiah thought even tho her clothes were cheap and dirty, and her skin was quite roghth making her look older than she was. She was quite cute.

1 DAY AFTER THE CRASH

It's been about a day since I've arrived and right now all I can say is I'm bored. Tho I've got games, manga, and fen to play with, acting normal and doing anything besides that is hard. So today I decided to check on Gu man and her daughter. Tho I don't know if Gu man herself will be there. It wouldn't hurt to check on both of them. I should probably buy some flowers and chocolate or does it come off as creepy.

Isaiah" FEEEN, I'm heading out. There's food in your bowl if you get hungry." Isaiah shouted from the front door.

Fenrir" Hooooowl." Fen howled in response.

Isaiah" Love you too."

HOSPITAL CITY F

After an hours drive, I made it to the hospital. Not wanting to grab too much attention I go to the back of the hospital and park my bike there.

When I was walking to the back entrance my senses warned my of potential danger. Looking around I see a man with eyes that exude danger and trouble. Worst of all he has a hidden weapon. I was about to grab him as no one was around but he had already entered before he could act.

Isaiah" Sigh this is so troublesome."

INSIDE THE HOSPITAL GU NING POV

When Gu Man was gone, Gu Ning got off the bed to walk around as exercise.

But when she had just walked a few steps away from her patient room, a doctor who was walking fast with a white coat and mask, knocked her down. Gu Ning stumbled and almost fell. Luckily, she caught the wall at once and kept her balance.

Gu Ning was displeased at first, but then she thought the doctor probably was in an emergency and didn't knock her down on purpose. Gu Ning planned to forgive him.

But to her surprise, the man who had knocked her down didn't apologize at all, and even glared at her, then rushed away.

Gu Ning was struck dumb for a second, not because the man didn't apologize and glared at her, but because she had noticed the strong hatred in his eyes. The hatred was not for her.

Gu Ning couldn't help but turn around. Her eyes squinted. The man was weird.

All of a sudden, Gu Ning saw a gun hidden in the man's waist through his white coat.

Gu Ning was worried. 'Why would a doctor carry a gun with him?'

And the man seemed he was not a plainclothes police, but an avenger.

Although it had nothing to do with Gu Ning, she couldn't step aside since she had found out the truth.

If the man was really here for revenge, innocent people could be hurt once he shot.

On thinking of that, Gu Ning couldn't allow herself to ignore this.

She wasn't the God, nor the Virgin Mary, but she wasn't cold-blooded neither. And she was willing to help as long as she could.

Therefore, Gu Ning followed up quietly.

What she didn't notice was while she was following the gun carrier Isaiah was following both of them.

But the female doctor's face was as white as a paper now. She was scared.

Then the suspect talked to her for a while, and the female doctor reluctantly followed him to another side.

Gu Ning followed up immediately.

They went upstairs. There were few people in the corridors because most of them used elevators. And nobody noticed there was something wrong with them.

They went straight to the top of the building. It was an open balcony.

There was no one else on the balcony, except the suspect, the female doctor, Gu Ning who was hidden in the dark, and Isaiah who was right behind gu ning.

Isaiah' What's up with this girl. She looks and acts like an experienced assassin but her body and skin are too soft and weak. She didn't even have caloses.'

Tho a bit confused with how Gu ning acted he decided to let it go and observe the situation.

???" Yang Hao, what, what do you want?" facing the gun, the female doctor was trembling.

Hao" What do I want?" the suspect, Yang Hao, snorted. Then he said angrily with his eyes full of fierceness, "An Qian, it's all because of you that I end up like this! What do I want? The hospital has fired me. My wife left me for another man. It's you, It's all because of you."

Speaking of this, An Qian felt aggrieved. She argued, "That's all because of your immoral behaviors. As a doctor, you disobeyed the basic rules. You've secretly accepted the money from the patient's family, and ignored a life. I simply rescued a person."

Hao" Shut up. That's my own business. You don't have any right to interfere."Yang Hao snapped. His hand around the gun tightened.
