The palace was as busy if not more than the capital's streets. Maids and guards went up and down preparing for the next day.

Cleaning, cooking and making sure security was very tight in and around the palace. Only royals of other kingdoms were allowed inside and to be very cautious, they pricked your finger to verify your identity at the gate.

Kings, queens, princesses and princes were at large bringing in gifts to show off their wealth and in the case of alderns technology. It was a good thing that the palace was an estate of its own, so it could accommodate them all.

The only races that weren't accounted for were the ones that the four kingdoms deemed to be lessers. The three races never bothered to attend these things because they would just be mocked and ridiculed, they quit long ago thinking they could fit in with them.
