Quirk or Quirkless.

THWACK!

"You're too stiff! Loosen up!" Yuri hit his hand with a wooden stick, resulting in a groan from Orion. "O-Okay..." He put his dukes up, forcing himself to ignore the pain he was enduring at that moment.

Yuri smiled at seeing how resolved he was and attacked again. This time Orion was able to dodge, but not with another streak of pain.

THWACK!

Yuri hit the back of his leg, causing him to kneel then fall flat onto the floor. Upon his face landing in some mud, he got embarrassed and began crying. He wailed and wailed dramatically which made Yuri widen her eyes.

Running over to him and kneeling next to him, only to rub on his back for comfort, she said, "Orion! I-I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" She sounded sympathetic, but this only made Orion bawl even more.

Just then, the sound of a door opening could be heard. This made Yuri sweat while it made Orion quietly laugh in triumph. "O-Orion! What happened sweety?!" She ran down the stairs in her white cloak and to them. She then picked him up, rubbed the mud off of his face, then began checking him out.

"Y-Y-Yuri hurt me... ShE hIT Me~.." These were real tears by the way. He may be 26 mentally, but had the mentality of a 6-year-old.

"She...did what?" Ari slowly looked towards Yuri, making her shake from fear. "Yuri? Is he...lying?" She knew Orion wouldn't lie over something like this. She also saw the red spots on his forearms, meaning that some sort of harm had been caused to him.

"W-Well, yes, but I didn't mean to hurt him like this! Please forgive me, madam!" She prostrated on the ground, holding out the wooden sword. "Please, punish me! I'll accept anything!"

Ari and Orion both looked down at her. Orion had managed to whip his tears away and had whispered something into his mother's ear. He had whispered what her punishment should be, and upon seeing how complex Ari's face had become, the punishment couldn't have been a good one.

"I see. Well then, Yuri, Orion has chosen the punishment for me. He told me that you have to bathe with him every night. Sounds like a deal, no?" She had instantly shot up and kissed Orion on the cheek.

"Thank you, young master! For being so lenient on someone as idiotic as me.." He blushed while looking away like he didn't acknowledge or care for such apologies. "Well then. Now that that's resolved, Orion, how about we do it? We've been getting anxious, y'know?"

What Ari was referring to was whether he had a quirk or not. "Uh, okay. This way, Yuri won't be able to hurt me anymore! Lets go!!" Ari giggled while turning around into a walk.

"Oh, trust me, she knows not to mess with you anymore. You'll be fine.." Yuri heaved a sigh of relief while following behind them. All 3 then made their way into the villa then towards a random couch. Ari laid Orion down on the couch while Yuri pulled up chairs for themselves.

They say in those chairs and began the process of finding out if he was quirkless or not. "Remember, Orion. We'll always be there for you, whether you are quirkless or not. We love you deeply, always will and always have.." She put her fist out and smiled.

"I-I love you guys too..." He said in embarrassment while fist-bumping his mother back. 'Truth be told, my old family never really loved me, I think. I wasn't smart, handsome, athletic, or anything like that. I was just average and my parents didn't like that.

When I had dropped out of high school at 16, my parents bought me an apartment and told me to fend for myself. It had been 4 years and continuing since I had spoken to them...

With Ari and Yuri though, I feel loved. Appreciated basically. I can be myself around them...ish, and that honestly makes me happy. I don't give God enough credit for providing me with a family as caring and loving as them...'

Unnoticed by him, he had begun crying again. Ari and Yuri could both tell that these tears,...they were that of joy. "Thank you guys...for being my family. I love you so much.." Ari awed and kissed him while Yuri just patted his head. "You're the best son anyone could ask for. I love you too baby..."

Like that, she pulled his shoes and socks off, only to start feeling up his foot. 'I see them not only as a family but as women as well by the way. Sorry, sorry, I can't help myself. I love them too much for my own good..'

Ari had then felt his pinky toe, nodding with a rising smile. "Yep,.." She cupped his face followed by Yuri getting up and grinning. "You...will be a great hero..." It didn't take a genius to know what that had meant. "Congrats, young master! I knew you had it in you!"

Yuri gave him the thumbs up while smiling widely. Ari had only put her head onto his chest, heaving a long sigh. Ari had two types of mindsets involving him being quirkless and him having a quirk.

One, being quirkless meant she could safely watch over him, and two, having a quirk meant that he could save people. The latter meant risking his life, something that no parent wanted their child to do as it involved obvious risk.

"Don't worry, mommy! I'll be a strong hero that can protect everyone! I promise!" He placed his hand on her lovely brown hair, showing sparkles in his eyes too.

"I know, dear. I know. Just promise me that'll you'll never forget me when you become famous, okay?" She looked up while pinching his cheeks. "Yesh! I'd never forget the person I love most!" This made her smile while having a faint blush.

'He'll be an outstanding hero. We can already see it..' And like that, the day had continued with Orion slowly testing out his prowess.
