3 Academy System and Quests

"As for 'that' thing, it will be activated after you reincarnate. Remember, you won't inherit someone's body this time. You will simply be born as an eighteen-year-old man."

Alex just stood there with shock and disbelief in his eyes. He couldn't believe that he actually received the talent of one of the strongest people in the entire domain.

And now, he also bore the fate of the entire domain. But, suddenly, a question came to his mind. He looked at the man and asked "What is a domain?"

The man simply smiled and said, "Don't worry, you will learn everything as time passes."

Alex sighed. Due to being the dean of an academy, he had proper knowledge about the world but he still didn't know anything about the domain. Although he did understand its literal meaning.

"Can you tell me who are you? How did you manage to survive if the domain had reset everything?"

The man smiled like before and said "I was created to guide you into reincarnation. Just like how they manage to pass down the talent even after the reset, they also managed to somehow protect my consciousness."

"Though this time, it will disappear. This is why I don't want you to die. If you die once more, everything will fail. Alright, I will start your reincarnation."

"Wait, I still….."

Just when Alex wanted to ask something more, he was knocked down. The man looked at Alex and murmured.

"Alex, write your journey, create your future. You are the hero of this story. You will lead the world toward the future that they can have. I… no, we believe in you."

On the glorious greenery, a young man was lying down. His eyes were shut and he wasn't breathing properly. It was either fast or slow during different times.

The sound of the river flowing a few meters away from him rang in his ears. At this moment, his breathing finally calmed down and maintained its speed.

His eyelid slowly opened as he looked at the bright blue sky. There was a sun shining above his head but it was Spring so it wasn't that hot. He raised both of his hands and noticed his flawless creamy skin.

He was startled for a moment. He saw the ring on his index finger and slowly calmed down.

"None of that was a dream. I died and got transmigrated then I died again and got reincarnated or rather, created."

"I, Alex Carter was given the task to save the world? Hah! It sounds like a fantasy but what do I have to lose?"

At this moment, a crazy smile appeared on his flawless face. His bright blue eyes and silver hair made his face even more stunning.

"I, Alex Carter, was born as a common man without any powers in my first life then got reincarnated into the world of magic in my second life. I have lived the life as a student and as a teacher but I have never lived a life as someone with a goal in his mind."

"Hehehe! It will be fun. Adventures, Magic, hehe women, this time I will have all of it. Hahaha!"

[Ding! Host's laughter is getting too loud. Please control it!]

"What the….. Who are you?" Alex suddenly stopped laughing when he heard the voice in his head.

[I am the spirit of 'Celestial Sun Academy' aka 'Academy System'. I hold the records of millions of spells. I hold the equipment of millions of people. I hold the power of millions of people.]

"Wow! Can you give me some of those powers?"

[…. Host, I can't. There is no free food in the world. If there was, the millions of people wouldn't die of starvation.]

"You aren't wrong. So, what are you? I don't mean your name."

[As I said before, I am 'Celestial Sun Academy' aka 'Academy System'. I was created to guide my Host to save the Domain. But, it is impossible to just wake up one day and save the world. So, I will be the record of your journey and reward you for your hard work.]

[I have several functions that will eventually get activated as you make progress. For now, three primary functions and three secondary functions are activated.]

[Quest Function (Primary Function)- It will be the guide of your journey. Each quest must be completed to gain the reward and grow the academy.]

[Status Function (Primary Function)- This function is the primary face of the system. It is something that will record your journey and reveal your progress.]

[Store Function (Primary Function)- This function holds all of the spells or equipment that the system has. Using certain currency, Host can buy things from the store function. The currency is part of this function.]

[Inventory Function (Secondary Function)- This function can store anything that Host has except for living beings. Its space can be improved by using a certain currency.]

[Lottery Function (Secondary Function)- One of the basic rewards from the quest function is a lottery. Using this function, Host can end up getting one of the most expensive things from the store or nothing at all.]

[Student Searching Function (Secondary Function)- This function allows Host to find a suitable student for his academy. It will not only show the student's status but also his talent.]

"Wait, so am I supposed to assume what these functions do just based on this simplified explanation?"

[Yes]

"Thank god, I am not stupid." Alex released a sigh of relief.

[Do you have any more questions, Host?]

"Yes, how do I open each function?" Alex asked.

[Host, you can either loudly speak the name of the function or simply think it in your mind. With each function opened, a blue screen will appear in front of you.]

"Alright then! Quest!"

Just as the system said, two blue panels appeared in front of him that for a moment startled him.

[Main Quest No.1- Establish the Academy

Description- Host must start his journey by establishing the academy. Thankfully, Host is on the outskirt of the Magus Continent, so it wouldn't be hard to open one.

Condition for Completion- Must complete all side quests before establishing the academy.

Time - One Month

Reward- Mana Gathering Pagoda, Gravity Training Hall, Spiritual Flame*1, 1000AP, 100TP, and Third Tier Magic Array.

Punishment- Unable to cultivate for two years]

"Is that so? My first quest is something that I am truly experienced at. Hehe! This is going to be fun. But, on the outskirt of the continent. That is a great loss. There are not many talents in the outskirt of the continent."

"But, before I even think of completing the main quest, I must see what kind of side quests are there."
