Mike slowly stand back up by Alex's help and put his Saber back in his spacial ring. He was breathing heavily and was utterly exhausted.
"Now tell me about your cultivation " Claude said with solemn face
"I broke through to third stage yesterday" drake replied
"I already broke through to third stage a week ago" Mike said
"I am at peak of third stage" As soon as I said that everyone looked towards me with surprise

All three of us were smiling shamefully as we put the spacial rings away

"I am not done yet, This morning a person came to my residence saying that Royal Tea Club has a banquet today and as a member we will have to attend"
"So the reason you called us here is...."
"A carriage already arrived to pick us up at academy but I didn't wanted to talk to you in that carriage, the royal mansion is just halfway from here let's go by walking"
"You don't trust the prince?" Mike asked
"It's not like that but being cautious is always a good thing"
After walking sometime we finally reach the royal mansion, it was a majestic place with an astounding beauty as the whose palace was surrounded by flowers
The place where the banquet was held was a palace made adjacent to a lake filled of lotus flowers. Entering the palace a maid told us to sit and wait as the prince was not present at the moment.
Other people was already sitting quietly in palace, we found rose sitting and sat beside her.
"Is she the beauty you were talking about?" A young men with luxury outfit asked
"yes, she's the new genius with an A grade talent... But boss there are already rumors about her being in relationship with that C grade trash called Alex" another young men beside him spoke
"what? Is that true?"
"One of my friends has seen them walking through bluestone market while holding hands"
"tsk that trash is dreaming, he has no status or talent. Does he thinks he deserve her"
"boss do you want to make trouble for him?"
"I have already set my eyes on her, so of course I will not let that trash take her from me but this is crown prince's banquet we can't afford to act presumptuously here"

"brother Zheng your cultivation is at 3rd stage of Qi condensation realm that have ten stages, You fighting with juniors may seem like bullying" Crown Prince stated
"I will fight by suppressing my cultivation to first level of Qi condensation and I will only fight with geniuses at peak of body strengthening"
"Hmm okay then you are allowed to challenge anyone at peak of body strengthening but don't forget this is a friendly match and I will be watching your every moment" Crown Prince said the last words In a tone that everyone had chills running through their spines
Huang Zheng sat up and took a glance at 'brother ren' who nodded in reply. A sneer appeared on drake's face who was calmly watching them silently till now
'so you have chosen death'
Huang zheng looked towards us and said "huh..... if I am not wrong two of you have C grade and one possess D grade talent right? , Are you really Geniuses?.... But Since you came to crown prince's banquet you must have something special...."
"let's see who should I choose....."
"You, the person with C grade talent let's start with you" he pointed his finger towards me
Claude whispered to me "Don't accept it, it's clearly a trap"
But before I could say anything drake spoke "He clearly wants to look for Trouble, just go play with him"
I didn't understand what he meant but anyways I sat up and said "I accept your challenge"
The person with luxurious clothes called 'brother Ren' mocked
'Challenge? He will just tear you in pieces'
"At the side opposite to the lake there's a martial stage, you can fight there" said the crown prince
The tiles were made of stone bricks and everyone was looking from a distance at the two young men ready to fight any moment
Both of them have their swords in their hands
"a C grade trash like you will be unable to last three moves from me"
"yeah yeah will you start or not? Or is it that you only know how to bark"
"you are courting death" At first he was feeling pity for this 'pig' that was bound to be slaughtered but now he was truly angered
Both of them swung their sword that collided with sound of an explosion but just after that collision Alex swung his sword again aiming at neck

The speed of sword was so fast that even he, a cultivator at third level of qi condensation could only see a black line in air. It was swift and fierce at the same time

Huang zheng saved himself from the attack by using his sword to block but the look on his face was replaced by fear
He was pushed back a few steps by the force of the sword, he had fought many geniuses before but this sword made him feel terror for the first time as if he was fighting a God of Slaughter.

Alex - Inspired from Goku with a free and positive nature (the ninja thing was added at last moment)
Mike - Inspired from issei hyoudou from highschool dxd with a naive personality. He can defy anything for his loved ones.
Drake - A lone hero with calm and kind of badass personality
Claude - A character with calculative and sharp personality( somewhat like khun from tower of God)
