33 Chapter 33

They examined a sleek, state-of-the-art drawing tablet with a high-resolution display, Eriri couldn't contain her excitement. "This one has incredible pressure sensitivity" she exclaimed, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "It's essential for creating precise lines and adding depth to your drawings."

Oreki's eyes lit up with understanding. "Ah, I see" he remarked, his curiosity evident "And what about compatibility with different software? Does it work with the programs I'll need for manga creation?"

Eriri nodded, impressed by his astute question. "Yes, it's compatible with all the major software used in the industry" she explained. "So you'll have no trouble finding the right tools for your manga projects."

Oreki raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "But is it really worth it though?" he asked, his tone teasing. "I mean, wouldn't a cheaper option do the job just as well?"

Eriri frowned, momentarily taken aback by Oreki's question. "Well, technically yes" she admitted, her tone defensive. "But if you're serious about being a mangaka, investing in a quality tablet can make a significant difference in the long run."

Yoruichi, who had been listening attentively, chimed in with a thoughtful observation. "It's not just about the features" she remarked, her tone thoughtful. "A tablet that's made to last will stay strong for a long time, which means it'll help you save money in the end"

Eriri nodded in agreement, grateful for Yoruichi's input. "Exactly" she said, shooting Oreki a pointed look. "Besides, wouldn't you rather have a tablet that you can rely on for years to come, rather than having to replace it every few months?"

Oreki chuckled, conceding the point. "Fair enough" he admitted, his smirk replaced with a thoughtful expression. "I suppose it's worth considering the long-term benefits and beside money is not a problem to me" Oreki shrugged.

While they examined another drawing tablet, Oreki leaned in with a mischievous grin. "So, Eriri" he began, his tone playful, "any tips for someone who's just starting out in the world of art?"

Eriri rolled her eyes, feigning annoyance. "Oh, I don't know" she replied sarcastically, her lips twitching with amusement. "Maybe start by actually drawing something instead yapping nonstop?"

Oreki chuckled, unfazed by her retort. "Touche" he conceded, his smirk widening. "But so you know, I've got some serious potential. Just you wait and see on my Pixiv to see my artwork"

Eriri raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Is that so?" she asked, her tone teasing. "Well, I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I'm here to offer my expert advice to noobs like you"

Oreki asked in a curious tone, "Then dio I need anything else besides the drawing tablet and the necessary software?"

Eriri paused, considering Oreki's question thoughtfully. "Well, aside from the drawing tablet and software, there are a few other tools and resources that can be helpful" she replied, her expression becoming thoughtful as she mulled over her response.

"For example, a good-quality stylus can make a big difference in your drawing experience" she continued, gesturing towards a display of styluses nearby. "They come in various shapes and sizes, so it's important to find one that feels comfortable in your hand and offers the precision you need."

"Additionally, investing in a drawing glove can help reduce friction and smudging while you work" Eriri added, pointing towards a rack of gloves designed specifically for digital artists. "It might seem like a small thing, but it can make a big difference, especially during long drawing sessions."

She continued, moving on to the topic of reference materials. "Many artists find it useful to have reference books or online resources for anatomy, perspective, and character design" she elaborated. "These can help you develop your skills and ensure accuracy in your drawings."

"Additionally, investing in a good quality scanner or printer can be beneficial for digitizing your artwork and preparing it for publication" she added, pointing towards the section dedicated to scanning and printing equipment.

"Of course, there are also plenty of online resources and communities where you can find tutorials, tips, and inspiration" Eriri said, her voice brightening with enthusiasm. "Places like forums, social media groups, and online courses can be invaluable for learning new techniques and connecting with other artists."

Oreki nodded casually as he absorbed Eriri's words, his demeanor relaxed as if he were merely entertaining the conversation out of curiosity rather than genuine interest. He said to himself "Although I would just mainly copy the shit I will make in the future, I'll follow Eriri suggestion just give her some credit."

As Eriri guided Oreki through the store, explaining the intricacies of different drawing tablets and accessories, she couldn't help but notice a shift in their dynamic. Despite their initial exchange being filled with teasing and playful banter, she found herself enjoying Oreki's company more than she anticipated.

With each passing moment, Eriri found herself warming to Oreki's presence. His teasing remarks and easygoing charm had a way of putting her at ease, dispelling any lingering apprehension she had about their encounter. She couldn't deny the sense of comfort that settled over her as they shared laughs and exchanged insights about their shared passion for art.

As they continued their exploration of the store, Eriri couldn't shake the feeling that this chance encounter might just be the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her life. The prospect of collaborating with Oreki on artistic projects filled her with a sense of anticipation and excitement. Perhaps, she thought to herself, this unexpected meeting would open doors to new opportunities and friendships she had yet to explore.

Despite her initial skepticism about Oreki's intentions, Eriri couldn't ignore the genuine curiosity and interest he displayed as they discussed various aspects of digital art. His relaxed demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for learning about drawing tablets and accessories hinted at a shared passion that transcended their playful banter.

As they exchanged thoughts and ideas, Eriri found herself admiring Oreki's willingness to engage in conversation and learn from her expertise. She appreciated his open-mindedness and eagerness to explore new possibilities, traits that resonated with her own creative spirit.

With each step they took through the store, Eriri felt a sense of connection growing between them, a shared bond forged through their mutual love for art. She couldn't help but wonder what the future held for their budding friendship, excited by the prospect of embarking on creative endeavors together.

As they reached the end of their journey through the store, Eriri couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of parting ways with Oreki.

Oreki noticed the scene before him and couldn't help but smile. "Hey, why don't you join us for lunch? I'll take care of everything" he offered warmly, extending the invitation with genuine kindness.

Eriri couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement at Oreki's invitation to join them for lunch. The prospect of spending more time with him and Yoruichi outside of the store filled her with a sense of anticipation. However, she quickly masked her enthusiasm with a facade of nonchalance, not wanting to appear too eager.

As she coughed lightly and responded with a casual "If you insist" Eriri couldn't help but notice the amused glances exchanged between Oreki and Yoruichi. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she realized her sudden change in demeanor, chastising herself for showing her excitement so openly.

Eriri shot a pointed glare at Oreki and Yoruichi, her annoyance evident in her tone. "If you guys are going to laugh at me, then I won't come" she declared, crossing her arms defiantly. Despite her outward display of irritation, Eriri couldn't shake the feeling of gratitude towards Oreki for extending the invitation.

Oreki couldn't help but chuckle at Eriri's feisty response, wiping away tears of laughter as he teased her further. "Come now, don't be a tsundere" he said with a playful grin, his words laced with amusement.

Eriri's cheeks flushed with embarrassment at Oreki's teasing remark, his playful tone only adding to her frustration. She scowled at him, her irritation evident in the way she narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms defensively.

"I'm not being a tsundere" she retorted, her voice laced with annoyance. "I just don't appreciate being laughed at, that's all."

Oreki chuckled softly at Eriri's response, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Sure, sure" he replied, his grin widening as he continued to tease her mercilessly.

Eriri rolled her eyes at Oreki's antics, unable to suppress a small smile despite her annoyance. Deep down, she knew that his teasing was all in good fun, a playful reminder of their newfound friendship.

With a resigned sigh, she relented, her irritation melting away as she accepted Oreki's invitation with a reluctant smile. "Fine, I'll come" she conceded, her tone softer now. "But only if you promise to behave yourself."

Oreki's playful remark hung in the air, eliciting a chuckle from Eriri. "No promises" he said with a mischievous smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Eriri couldn't help but roll her eyes at Oreki's playful retort, but a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips nonetheless. "Hmph" she huffed in mock indignation, slipping back into her tsundere demeanor with ease. Yoruichi watched the exchange between the two with amusement, shaking her head at their antics.

They then made their way to the checkout counter to pay for their purchases.
