16 Chapter 16

Still outside of ORC room

Reya is nervously standing while facing Tom, she does not know what to do currently cause her two companion still recovering from the beating they got. So Reya started looking around her surrounding to scout and she see from a far the others are fighting with there respective opponent. Looking at them, she regain her courage, she is start walking backwards while looking at Tom vigilantly if she going to be attacked by Tom,

Tom see this and wag his finger. Reya stop walking after seeing this and look at Tom intently waiting for him to do something. Tom walk to his right side until he reach a certain wall, he tap it to show Reya that there is a barrier surrounding all them. Reya lose hope of running away from here,

Luckily Kiba and Koneko started regaining conscious, Reya run to them help both of them to get up. Kiba is the first to regain full conscious and look at Reya who is helping Koneko to stand up.

Sensing this Reya strated explaining what happen and by saying "We got teleported outside ORC room and seems we got divided into three groups base on what I am seeing. I think we are trap inside a barrier with him"

Reya pointed at Tom.

Kiba and Koneko stared at Tom's direction whose using his rapier to draw something. Tom who felt being watch look back at them and started erasing the drawing then standing straight up with straight back and a serious expression on his face like nothing happened.

Koneko then realize what they need to do and say to Kiba and Reyu " So we need to beat him to get pass the barrier and help the others?" Koneko then gaze at the others fighting outside wanting to help them as soon as possible.

Kiba then started stretching his body to prepare for the fight and thinking of how to beat Tom cause he doesn't want to repeat his previous mistake of attacking him blindly, Koneko too started stretching and cracking her knuckles ready to fight Tom, Reya on the other hand started to think of how to help the other two what kind of spells she going to you to combo Tom and beat him.

Tom start copying them and is doing his own warm up. He started lifting weights in both of his arms. The Trio did not even find it weird at to where the weights come from. Tom then got bored of lifting weights and started playing tic tac toe on his own.

Kiba ,Koneko and Reyu stop what they are doing look ahead them ready to attack a moment notice, Tom too stop what he is doing, Tom put on the hat and hold the rapier with his right hand, Rising the rapier Tom is ready to fight.

"En garde" Tom declare with determine voice and a confident expression showing on his face as he prepare to get jump the Trio.

Kiba followed by Koneko rush to Tom while creating a sword from his Sword birth sacred gear. He created a sword that grants the user immense speed. Kiba running speed become a blur from a third point of view. Kiba arrive at the back of Tom to slash vertically him at his defenseless back.  Tom dodge the incoming slash by separating his upper body and lower body. Both Koneko and Kiba who saw stop in disbelief. Tom reconnect his body and round house kick the distracted Kiba. but that kick was weaker than the kick earlier.

Tom still taking advantage of their reaction to what he did. Tom attack Koneko by throwing knife to Konekos face.

Koneko seeing the incoming knife to her face protected herself with her gloves. Unbeknown to Koneko .Tom exploit this diversion he did and run to Koneko, Tom did a jump attack but during midair Tom store his rapier to his pocket dimension and took a giant wrecking ball and let the gravity do all the work

Bringing her hands down she was not able to see Tom in front of. her. She look at her vicinity but can't find the cat luckily for her Reya warn her of the incoming attack of Tom.

Reya shouted at Koneko and pointed at Tom " Toujou-san look up" Reya panic seeing the gigantic wrecking ball falling to Koneko afraid the she gonna get squash to paste by metal ball.

Koneko heard what Reya had said but before looking up she notice the shadow at the ground getting bigger as if something coming from the top. Koneko finally look up. What she see is a demolition ball but bigger than koneko expected. Koneko is about to dodge the wrecking ball but Kiba beat her to it and tackle her out of way of it. They roll to the direction where Reya is standing.

The wrecking ball fall to the ground with the help of the gravity. The bigger ii is the harder it falls

BOOM*

The pavement crack like cobweb of spider, debris scattered nearby and cloud of dust spread near the epicenter of the impact. 

Kiba and Koneko lay in the ground dirtying their clothes with scrap of soil in the ground.

Kiba ask Koneko in concern "You alright Koneko" 

Koneko nodded to Kiba and both of them look toward the wreckage cause by the demolition ball. They can't imagine what would happen if they got hit by it. Reya run towards them in panic and ask " Yuuto-san ,Toujou-san Are both of you okay" concerns is apparent on her voice.

Kiba answer with a smile to Reya "We're alright"

Reya sigh in relief "That's good then" Reya look at Tom looking at the wrecking ball with concern " The cat is weird for able to separate his body and connecting it."

Kiba look at Koneko " You try and restrict him ,Reya-san fire any spell you can make I don't care if it's weak as long as the cat is occupied by it. I will try to sneak attack him." Kiba ordered not learning his lesson that He can't hit or maybe it's just pride of self proclaimed swordsman.

Both Koneko and Reya nodded, but Reya blush a bit when Kiba called her by her first name.

Tom look at them getting ready to fight again with all they got.

Koneko run in all four like a cat she is. Reya is getting ready to cast any spells she know while Kiba create a sword that make his footsteps light for a perfect sneak attack.

koneko jump a punch Tom with all her might. Tom instead of parrying the punch with his ability, he choose to evade it by jumping backwards,

BOOM*

The punch of Konenko crack the pavement creating cloud of dust when dust settle Koneko look around and chase Tom, While Tom is in midair Reya cast three fireballs to him but to counter that Tom threw a throwing knives at the incoming fireballs destroying or dispelling it.

Reya shouted " You can do that too" but unbeknown to Reya her fireball is really weak but Reya did not idle she cast a lighting spell.at the landing spot of Tom.

Tom look up to see a lightning descending at him. Tom uses water god style technique to parry the lightning after parrying it Tom redirect it to the approaching Koneko. Koneko got electrocuted but the lightning that was cast is extremely, she'll recover fast.

Kiba saw an opportunity to attack Tom. He move fast and made an attempt to slash with his sword but change his mind seeing that Koneko is recovering already not the he is afraid that he will get parry and counter kick, so he let go of his sword and hold Tom by the waist. 

"Now Koneko" Kiba shouted at the top of his lungs.

"ORA" Koneko uppercut Tom

Reya on the other watching from the distance can't what she is seeing. After receiving the uppercut Tom neck stretch itself upward.  Toms head came back down again and smile at Koneko. Tom headbutted Koneko causing her to get dizziy then falling to her butt and kicking downward to hit Kiba at back of his head almost getting knockout.

Seeing this Reya cast a bunch of weak spell while saying in angry voice " Get away from them" 

Tom dodge the spell by backflipping.o.

Reya approach the Dizzy Koneko and the almost past out Kiba, Reya help both of them to stand up again.

After a moment of respite both of them regain their wits again and look at Tom the cat with awe  and they can't injure this cat but they did lose their hope. They attack Tom again with the same method of holding him down but every time Tom got punch by Koneko ,the body that always get hit always stretch backward like a rubber or every time Kiba tried to slash or stab Tom ,Tom always separate his body to avoid getting hit. One time in their battle Kiba was able to behead Tom but Tom body still counter attack Kiba and round kick him in face. After Toms body tried to find the head and attach it to his body.

After so many attempt the Trio already lost their hope on winning. Seeing this Tom thought it's time to finish this.

Tom put away the his rapier to his pocket dimension. Tom assume a stance of drawing a sword from his scarab. Using his hand like a sword

The Trio became vigilant again when saw this but it was ;already over.

Thunder and lighting gather at Toms feet before dashing at the Trio with blinding speed like lightning. Tom appear behind them with his hands still up in the air

*THUD *THUD *THUD 

The trio fell down like a puppet without strings.

Tom look back and nodded. Toms job here is Done.
