Back and Forth

What Kur didn't know or even realize was how big FP-108 actually was. With a radius of nearly 40,000 miles in diameter it was the perfect planet to become a farming planet. Hence it's name. It was originally planet that before was barren, very reminiscent of how it looks now because of the undead. High ranked cultivators, in the Liquifying Realm, had used lots of energy to terraform the planet into a paradise for growing crops. 

The two traveled another 9 hours before the sun started to set. Kur was disappointed that they never found another group of undead. He wanted to test out his own power, but didn't find a single thing. Not even any undead animals or anything. He was let down by that.

Yimi on the other hand was worried. She knew how much wild life and other animals lived on this planet. H#ll she raised many herds of animals. She never saw a single one when the undead first attacked. She knew that they had to have been turned into undead. They wouldn't have eaten them. Would they? She was worried there was something else going on.

Deep within the catacombs of the Library the dead stirred. It wasn't just a library for the knowledge of the Druids, both on this planet and others, but also a burial ground for the Elders. Hundreds of undead beast clawed and dug their way through the ruined catacombs. A trap was set off by one of the Elders causing it to fill with earth and created hundreds of new maze like paths. This was the last thing an Elder did to stop the horde of undead led by another Dark Elder. 

"Keep digging you mindless beasts" the Dark Elder said in a dry horsed voice. He had been stuck underground with his undead and unable to feed on a real living being. He wore cloak similar to Elder Unu that covered his entire body, but on the back was a large red oak tree with a crown above it. He was one that had corrupted Elder Unu and the Treant into becoming dark beings, Vampires! He was on this planet under the orders of his master and could do anything he saw fit to complete his goal.

He had corrupted the two to become Vampire Fledging's and help him take over the planet. Although he had gotten trapped underground and couldn't help his two underlings. Who he felt died and their undead hordes. He was shocked to feel the Treant and Elder Unu die.

They were peak Core Formation Realm, yet were killed. No one on the planet should have been in a realm that high. He had made sure to kill those that were stronger enough to stop him prior to their assault.

There was more going on on this world than he thought. He had a sinking suspicion that there was another shadow looming over this planet. His only solace was that if he died his master would know. And all h#ll would be raised on this world. That being said he didn't want to die and would do his best to get off this planet. The only problem was there was only one starport and that was on the other side of the planet. Where he last saw the Druids heading. He grimaced thinking he would have to fight his way out. 

He turned his attention back to the undead under his command. He barked orders at them to dig faster! He had to retrieve what his master had ordered. It was hidden deep underground. A relic that would help his master in his cultivation! That was his main goal. The man smiled thinking of the reward he would get from his master. He hoped to be elevated to a Vampire Lord!

"Do you need time to rest or can we continue" Kur asked. 

Yimi was sitting another dead log catching her breath. They had been non stop running all day. She needed time to rest or she would have to use a technique to stay awake. She informed Kur she would prefer to rest. Hoping Kur would keep watch. Then an idea popped into his head. 

'System' Kur spoke mentally. 'Can I create a new door to my lair anywhere?'

[Notice. Once a Scheme is preformed the door portal will only last for 24 hours. Although, the user has the power, once they are on the planet, to create a new door portal where they are replacing both the previous door and the countdown timer. Alternatively the user can create a permeant connection to the planet for the cost of 50 VP's]

Something about what the System said was off to Kur. He didn't remember the System saying this quiet like that, but shrugged it off. He had other things to think about. 

"I have an idea. Why don't we rest at my lair? We can always come back here in a couple hours."

Yimi blushed before throwing those ideas away. She realized Kur was a Sentient and not offering her to share a bed with him. She was nervous to live away from nature, but she had a bad feeling if they stayed there at night something would happen. She would prefer to have a good night sleep away from danger. Even if it meant she was around technology.

"I guess that works" she spoke in a defeated voice. "Are you able to make a door here or something?"

Kur just moved his arm like a magician revealing his trick. As his arm moved a wooden door materialized. It looked exactly the same as the previous door. 

Kur stepped to the side and opened the door for her. She saw the darkness of the shadow inside. It was only her second or third time seeing it and it always unnerved her. She quickly stepped through and felt a cold sensation wash over her body. Kur followed after her. 

On the other side she was back in their first room. Except this time there were two large 6ft tall mechanical werewolf like creatures. Their red eyes stared at Yimi almost begging for her to do something so they could attack. She froze stiff waiting for Kur to come through behind her. Thankfully he was there only seconds after her. 

The Wolven had waited patiently for their master to return. Kur was happy to see his Wolven had completed their mission. They had earned him 250,000 credits, but raised his [Heat Level] to 70. Which wasn't too bad. The only down side was that he only had 5VPs. He was glad he was out of debt, but only having 5 was a problem. 

"Do not worry about them" Kur spoke. "They are my Security Minions. The Wolven I mentioned before. They will be with us as we travel to the library. I have to much heat for them to go out again."

She wasn't sure what he meant about too much heat, but let it go. She was too distracted by their energy level. Kur was right they were way stronger than the Dwartle's! Both of these machines were at the Liquifying realm or even the Nascent realm! If Kur could just make machines of this level it was freighting how powerful Kur was or could become! It's like she walked into a tigers den only to find it was a dragon the entire time.

"I will make a room for you." Kur led her down the hallway and waved his hand and a door appeared. It had a wooden door that didn't match the aesthetic of the rest of the lair, but didn't matter to Kur. "This will be your room" he said as he opened the door. Yimi was amazed! Inside was a large 10x10 room with a nice medieval looking bed in the middle of a serene forest. There was a crystal clear lake and cherry blossoms in bloom around. It was a magical sight.

"THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! How did you make this!?" Yimi was speechless. She's never seen anything like this. She was more amazed how he could grow and cultivate these plants in the middle of an asteroid in space. How could he sustain life like this? 

"Oh it's nothing. Its a thank you for helping me find your library and learn more." 

Of course he couldn't say how he spent 50,000 credits just to build this! He was saddened by this, but assumed Yimi would become a regular for him. Speaking of. He decided after his little adventure he would work on a butler type Minion and open a front! 

"The door down on the left is the canteen. Press the button on the machines and tell it would meal you would like and it will make it for you. Please enjoy whatever you would like. I have other matters to attend to." Kur left Yimi alone in her room. She didn't even have a chance to say anything before he left.

She looked around and noticed the illusion in the walls. It looked like her room was endless, but she could definitely feel he wall itself. She began to strip and climb into the lake. It wasn't cold or hot to the touch, but the perfect temperature for her. She laid in the water and closed her eyes before falling to a deep sleep. She had no idea she had fallen asleep or how truly relaxing the room was. 

This was one of the perks of the System. Any room that was build specifically for a person, other than the user, would be perfect for them. It would become a dream room for them even if they never thought about their dream room.

Once he was finally away from Yimi, Kur entered his personal room. He rearranged it again. He brought back his bed, desk and even added a shower this time! He climbed out of his Kur suit and took a nice relaxing shower. He tuned out everything and emptied his mind as he showered. 30 minutes later he stepped out and felt much more refreshed. 

He wanted to send Wolven on another Scheme, but his [Heat Level] was already at 70. Only 30 more points and people could invade. He than decided to make more Wolven before his attention was drawn to a notification.

[NEW SCHEME] [Vampire Hunter] [Reward 1 Ancient Relic and -200 Heat] 

[Description: On planet FP-108 a Vampire is looking for an ancient relic. User must stop the Vampire and kill it before they retrieve said relic. User may also go over 100 Heat while preforming this quest]

[Time Limit: 24 hours]
