Chapter 5- Game is Game

Yuta POV

Hah~ waking up, I stretched my arms. Eh? ah shit! I fell asleep in my school uniform but you can't blame me I don't have any clothes. With that being said I'll go brush my teeth and have a ramen for breakfast.

Timeskip!!!

7:30 am

After finishing my stuff, I got out of my dorm room. Should I wait for ayanokoji? Nah I'll just explore around. I still got 30 minutes left before school starts.

Today I'm going to go shopping, I need to buy some clothes.

Hm, after entering the elevator and pressing the ground floor, I patiently waited before it stopped at the third floor.

Someone's gonna enter. As the elevator door opened, a guy with average height shoulder-length magenta hair that is styled on either side, and sharp magenta coloured eyes that would strike fear to any person.

Kakeru Ryuen.

He walked with a smirk as I pretended to be on my phone. I should probably act like I'm scared.

As time passed, the elevator ride for some reason seemed way way long.

"Oi, what's the time?" He asked looking forward, I had a deadpan look.

Don't you have a phone? Whatever… act like a weakling.

"U-uh I-it's 7:35 am." I said stuttering the best possible way I could. I looked at him as he smirked.

"I see, thanks." He said as I nodded, soo. The elevator opened and both of us exited. Now that I think of it does this guy even stay in this building. As long as I can remember in the anime it was ayanokoji, horikita and kushida in one of the four building unit. So that could mean that he either came here to check some things or meet someone. Well whatever not my problem.

With that I started roaming around the school, I found some arcades, few spots with no cameras, a beautiful view of the ocean from the railings, this really was like a mini town.

Which at a point I met someone who was my classmate and I didn't expect it to be her.

"Wait! Kageyama-kun!" I looked at the person who came running up to me.

A girl of average height with waist-length blonde hair that is tied in a ponytail and purple eyes. Her school uniform consisting of a light blue dress shirt below the red school blazer with rolled-up sleeves and a short white skirt, walking in standard school shoes with light blue calf-length socks.

Kei Karuizawa.

"Hm? Is there anything you need from me….Karuizawa right?" I asked her as she smiled.

"Oh you remembered my name?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yup since you were one of the few people who introduced themselves first before the red haired guy interrupted." I said to her as she nodded.

"Hm, that's right but that guy really pissed me off! What's wrong with introducing yourself?" She said with a angry face as I chuckled.

"Well he's a stubborn guy." I said and started to walking.

"Wanna go to the clas together?" I asked her as she smiled and nodded.

"Don't mind if I do!" She said as I chuckled.

She's a energetic girl but if I don't why she's here with me. If I'm sure, shouldn't she be with hirata already 'dating' with him?

"Well it's quite surprising that you know my name." I said to her with a surprised look as she looked at me.

"Well chabashira sensei did say your name yesterday, Yuta Kageyama-kun." She said with her eyes closed as I deadpanned.

"Oh I forgot." Yeah I really did since I became filthy rich.

"Haha whats with that. It seems Kageyama-kun is really forgetful." She said with her right eye closed with a smile as I chuckled.

"Not the first time I heard about that." I said to her as she chuckled.

Soon enough we reached at our class, walking in, everyone looked at us as Karuizawa went to her desk her friends immediately gathered near her asking few questions and for some reason she went red.

I had a deadpan look. I have a bad feeling.

I then sat down on my desk, of course not before greeting….

"Yo! Morning ayanokoji." I said with a smile as he looked at me.

"Oh, morning Kageyama." He said maybe surprised that I talked with him?

"Did you sleep well?" I asked him.

"Hm. What about you?" He nodded as he asked me.

"Yeah, I had a good dream too." I said chuckling as he nodded with that I turned around forward to see Karuizawa glancing at me over and over.

Okay I really really have a bad feeling!

I had a darkened expression as I had my hands in front of my hand.

What is this bullshit! So the butterfly effect has chosen me instead of hirata! I have to be the parasite holder for her!

But I mean I get two gacha tickets. Is it worth the risk? If I get a good reward, sure but if I get a bad reward then I'm stuck with her for awhile. You know what! I'll do it.

After all…. Game is Game. If the quest is given right now then Karuizawa might make her move later on.

Guess I'll play along for awhile.

With that the classes started and as expected throughout the class she kept glancing at me.

Timeskip!!!

It's lunch break time and I'm starving.

"I was thinking of heading to the cafeteria to eat, does anyone want to join me?" Hirata asked as he looked at the class with a smile though only girls seemed interested as few of the boys glared daggers at him and behind me, ayanokoji seemed like he wanted to go but only for hirata to get dragged away by the girls.

Poor guy, should I invite him?

Before horikita could insult my man I spoke up.

"Say ayanoko-" Only for me to get cut off.

"Kageyama-kun. Wanna go have some lunch together?" Karuizawa was in front my desk as I had a deadpanned look. Weren't you supposed to be with hirata's group? Ayanokoji looked at me as I nodded at Karuizawa.

"Sure." I said as she smiled and nodded with that I walked out with her. Sorry ayanokoji but you gotta take the insults for now.

Me and Karuizawa talked as we made our way to the cafeteria.

After reaching at the cafeteria, we both walked in.

"Are we gonna join hiratas group?" I asked as she nodded her head.

"Hm. If you don't mind that is." She said as I shook my head.

"Not at all, I'm okay with that." I said to her as she smiled, we both ordered our rare food tray.

The food options were divided in four:

Premium- Best

Rare- Good

Medium- Not bad or good

Free food- disgusting asf

After looking around for awhile, we finally found them.

"Right here. Karuizawa-san, Kageyama-kun." Hirata said with a smile as he waved at us, he was pretty much surrounded by girls.

"I'm thanks for having me." I said to them as hirata just smiled.

"No problem after all more the merrier." He said as I nodded.

As they talked, I stayed silent listening and eating my food. Karuizawa kept looking at me as I deadpanned.

Worried? No need to be, I don't talk much anyway.

"Well which middle did you come from Kageyama-kun?" A girl beside Karuizawa asked, maya satou.

"I was homeschooled so this is my first time in a school." I said to them as they looked surprised, it was the truth even in my old life I never attended school and was homeschooled.

"I see, that's surprising. Any reasons why you didn't wanna go to school?" Hirata asked me as I shrugged.

"I thought it would be boring to be honest and a waste of time." I said as they all looked at me weirdly as hirata chuckled.

"Well how are you liking school so far?" Another girl asked shyly if I'm correct mei-yu wang.

"Hm I would say it's not boring as I expected quite fun." I said with a soft smile, if getting private points from seniors is fun then count me in.

And as expected few girls blushed. Yuta face rizz is immaculate.

"Attention! Today at 5 pm, there will be a club fair in gymnasium number 1. For those interested in clubs, please come to gymnasium number 1. I repeat today…." A girl with a cute voice announced over the PA, the secretary of the student council president, akane tachibana.

"Hey, hey wanna go together?" Another girl, satsuki shinohara said as the girl beside him nodded, she was another person holding back in class D chiaki matsushita.

"I'm in since I'm planning on joining the soccer club here." Hirata said as mei-yu agreed.

"Sure~!" Satou said with a cherry tone as Karuizawa looked at me as I sighed.

"I hope you won't mind me joining." I said as they all said 'no problem'.
