26 Fighting Numerous Enemies

After locating the wolves, the group immediately headed straight toward them.

As expected, the wolves immediately spotted them when they came close.

Before they could make a move, Albert took the liberty of observing the wolves. They had intermittent black and white fur like that of a zebra. Their black eyes were sharp and openly releasing bloodlust.

In a single glance, their height seemed to be around his waist and their length was close to his height, making them big wolves in Albert's mind.

He never saw wolves like this, but he certainly knew that there should be female wolves in this pack.

This was proven when he saw the count of Horny Targets.

The targets increased by 55 counts, so this should be the number they needed to kill. Albert took a glimpse of their status and realized their levels were around 10-15 on average, so they should have the chance, considering the people in their group were at least level 20.

With the tension building up, the wolf on the very back of the pack let out a howl. "Aooooo!"

Hearing that howl, forty wolves charged forward without hesitation.

"Follow me," Alisa shouted and ran to intercept the wolves. The three cyclops were following behind her as they raised their weapons.

When they were about to clash, Alisa's sword started glowing. The blue light suddenly expanded like a whip and flew out of the sword as she swung the sword.

"Sword Whip."

The wolves leaped into the air to avoid it, but three wolves didn't manage to jump on time and were struck by the whip.

It turned out despite looking like a whip, the light was sharp like Alisa's sword. The light sliced the three wolves into two.

Seeing their comrades had died, the wolves were enraged and pounced on her.

The three cyclops had already arrived behind Alisa and waved their weapons. Due to their size, the weapon was also big. In fact, the weapon was bigger than Alisa's whole body.

Because the wolves were still in the air, they couldn't dodge this and got swept by their weapons.

"Aoooo!" Another howl resounded on the battlefield.

Since they were fighting inside the forest, the terrain was complicated with trees scattered in the area.

The wolves used this to their advantage to loop around Alisa and the cyclops and attack them from behind, but Albert, Kyonya, and the one-horned Onis made their appearances.

Kyonya sliced two necks and killed them while the Onis were using their respective weapons to kill a wolf or two.

Because of the terrain, Albert was facing only two wolves at a time. He took this chance to swing the bat to the first wolf. "Bonk Smasher."

The wolf that pounced on him was struck in the head, and with Albert's current level, his Bonk Smasher completely crushed the head and instantly killed the wolf.

Albert wanted to smile, but the other wolf grabbed his attention. He wanted to swing the bat one more time but ended up raising the bat because he wasn't quick enough.

'Really?' Albert was taken aback, not expecting that the Bonk Bat would still work even when he didn't attack them. Although he had expected it, he managed to confirm that no matter what condition, as long as the body of the horny target touched the bat, they would feel the force from the Bonk Bat.

He killed another wolf and looked at the other wolves that were coming toward him from all directions.

But when he was about to block the second wolf, the third wolf emerged from his side, trying to bite his arm.

Albert instinctively took a step back and let the Bonk Bat touch both of them at the same time.

Since he couldn't kill both of them at the same time, Albert rushed to the second wolf while waving his Bonk Bat.

The wolf managed to land on the ground perfectly and leaped away to avoid his strike.

Albert didn't give up and continued chasing the wolf while the third wolf was following him.

Since he could hear the third wolf's footsteps, Albert smirked and halted his steps. He turned around and struck the third wolf first.

"Bonk Smasher." Albert blew the wolf away before seeing the second wolf return to avenge the third wolf.

Albert didn't hesitate to kill the second wolf. After that, his expression became even more serious because he was surrounded by two wolves.

They attacked at the same time, so Albert decided to go to the right and struck the wolf from that direction.

However, the wolf suddenly rolled his body in the air and covered his vision with its body. Albert still managed to hit the wolf and blow it away, but the other wolf used that chance to bite his left shoulder.

"Aaahhh!" Albert gritted his teeth and realized he had messed up. This was what Alisa meant by lacking experience.

He had underestimated the wolves because of the Bonk Bat, unaware of how dangerous it was to confront a huge number of enemies. Even if their level was low, they could attack him from all directions, including his blind spot.

And this wolf just made him realize his own incompetence.

"Albert!" Kyonya saw him and planned to help him, but he soon stopped when Albert started cursing.

"Goddammit!" Albert grabbed the wolf's mouth and opened its jaw before throwing him to the side. After that, Albert struck its belly with his bat, killing the wolf.

"It hurts." Albert clicked his tongue.
