"Kh." Albert was gritting his teeth while feeling the extreme pain in his shoulder. He pressed the wound to stop it, but he didn't know why but he didn't seem to be bothered with his wound that much.

Instead, his body moved perfectly despite such a wound.

When he was about to check his wound, another two wolves came at him, forcing Albert to retreat for a few seconds.

He didn't know what had happened to his body, so he checked the wound first.

"The bleeding is not that bad. Can you keep fighting?" Kyonya regrouped with Albert to check his wound.

"My body can still follow my movement." Albert nodded with a serious expression.

"Good. Let's continue. I will dress your wound after we defeat all these wolves." Kyonya then raised his daggers and charged forward, leaving him behind.

Albert took a few deep breaths. Even though his body could move, the pain still bothered him. So, he needed a few seconds to get used to the pain.

After that, he ran forward and faced three more wolves.

He waved his bat to the right to hit the first wolf, but the pain jolted his mind again. He gritted his teeth and continued the swing, ultimately hitting the wolf.

He then turned around and kicked the second wolf and struck the third wolf, killing it. With only the second wolf, Albert had the liberty to look around.

Kyonya seemed to have no problem in killing the wolves. Although his strength was less than him, so he couldn't kill the wolf in one hit, he still skillfully controlled his daggers to slit their throats one by one.

The same applied to the leader of the group, Alisa. She was even more impressed than any of them combined. While they were struggling to kill one, she had already killed a few. And after a minute, she managed to kill ten wolves with one swing each.

However, the wolves were not scared of them as they had female wolves that needed to be protected behind them.

They became even crazier when their number dropped further.

The cyclops had a hard time dealing with them because they were too swift for them to keep up. On the other hand, the one-horned Onis were taking advantage of the cyclops' lack of movement to kill the wolves that just landed on the ground after hitting them.

That was why the group managed to gain their ground despite losing in numbers.

Still, the crazier the wolves, the harder they were to kill because they didn't hesitate to sacrifice their lives to kill their enemies. Hence, the cyclops and the onis were pushed back because they didn't want to die.

Only Albert wasn't affected because they would be pushed back when they touched his Bonk Bat. And Albert used the gained Bonk Bites from the wolves to kill them.

"Impressive." Alisa couldn't help but mutter when she saw Albert's performance. Even though there were many things she wanted to say regarding his performance, Albert's performance was still the best among them.

"Kill them all," Alisa shouted when the wolves remained only twenty.

The group nodded and killed the wolves one by one.

It didn't take them too long before they managed to kill them.

When all the male wolves died, the female wolves didn't hesitate to bear their fangs toward the group. They had been watching from the sideline this whole time because they were pregnant, but without the male wolves, they hesitated no longer.

Albert frowned as his heart skipped a beat. "Ehm, do we need to kill them? They're pregnant…"

When Alisa heard Albert's statement, her eyes released killing intent as she stepped forward and slashed two pregnant wolves.

"It's whether you die or I perish. If you refuse to kill kids or pregnant monsters, you're going to die eventually." Alisa stomped the ground and mercilessly killed another wolf. "The kids can feed you poison while pregnant women can induce your empathy just to trap you.

"If you're too soft on them, you're going to die. What I have known for as long as I live, everyone is your enemy until proven otherwise. Sparing innocents, kids, elderly? Who knows what they can do," said Alisa without any empathy in her eyes.

Albert couldn't rebuke her because what she said held some truth behind it. At the same time, the common sense from Earth was still ingrained in his heart as this was only the third day.

After a few seconds, Albert gritted his teeth and charged forward, killing two pregnant wolves. Their faces before they died were planted deeply in his eyes and mind.

In the end, he dropped to his knees as his limbs became too weak.

Luckily, the group managed to kill all 55 wolves, so it was alright for him to rest.

He turned around and saw the cyclops had several holes in their bodies and bite marks. The one-horned onis also had some. Even worse, one of them had one of their legs almost torn due to the excessive bite from the wolves.

Kyonya immediately took care of their wounds while Alisa dressed Albert's wound personally.

While washing his wound with water and putting on some bandages on his shoulder, she said, "For me, there is nothing wrong with killing them. As for you, that's the answer you need to find yourself.

"As long as you don't forget today's feeling, you are still normal to be honest. Only when you feel nothing when killing them do you become weird.

"That's my view. Of course, you will find a different opinion… My advice is… believe your answer and see it through." Alisa smiled and finished bandaging him. She then patted his other shoulder a few times and said, "Still, your performance is very impressive. Keep up with the good work."

'She seems to have experienced many things in life… I was 21 years old on Earth, yet, I felt a bit inferior to this girl who seemed to be one or two years younger than me.' Albert thought.

However, their rest was soon interrupted by a loud howl coming from their right.

All of them immediately turned their heads around, finding numerous wolves and one wolf twice the size of the normal one staring at them.

"Another group?"
