7 Checking the Information

"If you believe me, then save him, and if you don't, just ignore it. Tomorrow I will speak with you again. Also, you shouldn't keep Kurama locked in your Mindscape; he is also a sentient being. How would you feel if I locked you underground for hundreds of years?"

Saying this, Akira stopped speaking, while keeping an eye on Mito. He knew that even if there is just a 1% chance of this happening, Mito would consider it and make sure Nawaki is safe.

Inside Mito's Mindscape, Mito arrived and saw Kurama locked in chains. She looked at him and asked, "Do you think what he said is true?"

Kurama didn't reply and closed his eyes. Seeing this, Mito tightened the chains around Kurama, but he still didn't say anything. In fact, he didn't even look in her direction.

Knowing that she wouldn't get a reply, Mito sighed and went outside. Though she did loosen the chains around Kurama, all she received was a snort from him.

'Hmph! Did this woman think I will believe her? Still, I didn't expect a human to speak for us Tailed Beasts. I wonder who he is, as I didn't feel any negative intent from him. In fact, I didn't feel anything; it's like he didn't even exist.' Kurama thought while thinking of the voice.

Outside, Mito, who had just come out of the Mindscape, looked in the direction of the Hokage Office and then she clapped her hands.

A Senju Clan Ninja appeared in the room, and Mito looked at her and said, "Go and call Tsunade and Nawaki. Tell them I want to meet them."

The Ninja nodded and left the place, and Mito closed her eyes.

Seeing all this, a smile appeared on his face.

'I wonder what kind of butterfly effect this thing would cause.'

He kept on looking at the scene with his Senrigan and just a few minutes later, Tsunade and Nawaki appeared in the room.

"Grandma! Did you call us?" Tsunade said as she appeared in the room. She was about to give Hashirama's necklace to Nawaki as a gift, but then they were called back, so she thought of giving it later.

"Grandma!" Nawaki shouted and hugged Mito, which caused her to smile, while she tried to ignore Kurama's curses in her mind.

"Tsunade, Nawaki, what were you two doing?" Mito asked, and then Tsunade said, "I was about to give a gift to Nawaki, but then we heard that you called us."

"Eh? Really? What gift were you going to give, Nee-Chan?" Nawaki asked with an excited expression, and Tsunade smiled in return and didn't tell him anything.

"When you return from the mission tomorrow, I will gift it to you." Tsunade said while pinching his cheek, which made Nawaki pout, while Mito furrowed her brows at it.

"What mission are you talking about? I don't think outside of the village is calm. Why is Nawaki going on a mission outside the village?" Mito asked, and hearing this, Tsunade looked at Mito and asked, "Hmm? What happened Grandma? Why are you asking this?"

"Tell me the mission details. I feel something will happen to him on the mission." Mito said, and hearing this, Tsunade sighed and said, "Grandma! You are thinking too much. Orochimaru would be going with him. I am sure he will keep Nawaki safe."

"Yeah! Orochimaru Sensei is strong. Besides, I am also stronger. Nothing will happen to me, Grandma." Nawaki said. Seeing this, a smile appeared on Mito's face, and she said, "Hmm! But tomorrow, before leaving, you will come and see me, Okay?"

Nawaki was about to deny, but then he felt Tsunade nudging him. He looked at Mito and seeing her 'smiling' face, he gulped and said, "Mm! Okay."

"Now you two can leave. I am going to rest now."

The duo nodded, and they left the room, not after Tsunade gave Mito a quick glance and asked what happened.

Mito didn't say anything and shook her head. Seeing this, Tsunade sighed and walked out with Nawaki. She planned on talking with Orochimaru and telling him to take extra precautions for the next mission.

Mito sensed them leaving, and she stood up and went to the room beside her current room. She bit her thumb and used her blood to write 'Unseal' on the door, and seeing this, Akira knew that she planned to create seals and extra defense for Nawaki.

Akira knew that he wouldn't understand the kind of seals Mito had, so he left the place and closed his Sharingan. He dispersed his Transformation and lay down on the bed while thinking about the Academy.

'Except for meeting new people, I don't think I can get much from the academy. No! Maybe I can increase my fighting skills there, but I don't want to graduate early or get known by Hiruzen and Danzo.'

'So, I guess I will use the favor of saving Nawaki's life tomorrow. I am sure Orochimaru will ignore what Tsunade said as he has 'confidence' in himself, and with Nawaki pumped up, only Mito's seals will save him. And when they arrive back and meet her, I will talk with Mito in Tsunade's presence and use the favor to train me.'

'I am sure she wouldn't mind, and she will even try to get information about 'me' from me. But they won't be able to. Besides, I am planning on using Seals to give them an ultimatum and threaten them with the 'secrets' I could release to other villages.'

Thinking of all this, Akira closed his eyes and decided to take a quick nap, not knowing someone was trying to contact him, while the other one is snickering at her actions.

Night arrived, and now it is time to talk with Kaguya. Over the past year, Kaguya has now mellowed out with Akira, and now she is also beginning to get her emotions back. Though she still tries to act indifferent, Akira could sense that she is just pretending, which is also good as he finds this type of acting cute, as the difference between her acting indifferent and being indifferent is still too big.
