Valerie POV

It was a beautiful day I am walking through the castle walls. Admiring the gardens and the last sunlight of the day. I start taking my usual stroll at night. It's really nice living in a vampire city.

Even my elder sister mina who wants to get Land Zero or something back likes to enjoy such things. Why she made her own faction out of grandpa Vlad's former servants is questionable.

But she seems to like her werewolf bodyguards a whole lot. Then here is that head maid I always forget her name. Considering she never loved anyone is really sad.

I hope she finds someone I would not be such a bad idea to have the same boyfriend now would it? I always see everyone seeming very happy and content to share their man with multiple women. Is it something common for my race to be this way?

I heard humans normally aren't like this. Could it be that turned vampires are just forced to be this way? Now that would be horrible.

Gracie "Aaaaaaaaah! Stop it hurts!"

Bully "Why should I stop? Your just a lower life form learn your place!"

Gracie "Aaaaaaah!"

I see some boy bullying another boy considering the clothes. A servant of my family? I need to stand up for him having one's servants hurt leaves a bad image. That's what brother always says.

Valerie "Stop! Get away from my servant! What do you believe is right in putting shame to my family, by hurting our servant!"

Bully "I am sorry your highness!"

The boy quickly runs away. I see my brother in the distance, but for now, I will take care of this... girl? The bully must have torn her pants away. I can now clearly see she's a girl. But she acted so much like a boy?!

Maybe she has a reason. I need to ask her at some point. But before that I can't have a girl walk around in rags. I am gonna get her a wardrobe and some work clothes. Here where many women wearing the same thing cleaning stuff in the castle so that should do the trick.

Gracie POV

I am getting bullied again. Lately, i have to endure more and more beatings. They take all my clothes and leave with nothing but rags. I really want to wear proper shorts again like years ago.

I am only 8 years old why do I have to go through this. What have I ever done to deserve this?

Bully "Worthless piece of meat, maybe I can find some use for you after all?!"

Gracie "Please as long as I can help you out ill gladly clean anything and sort out everything you want just please stop hurting me all the time?!"

Bully "Very well then get to work!"

The boy suddenly shoved me towards his crotch. I started shivering this is the only thing the maids and servants have told me to resist at all cost or I won't be myself anymore. Why that's the case I don't know? But I am just gonna believe them for now.

Bully "What is it does a bitch like you not know how to serve like these whores?! Father taught me how to keep bitches like you in the place you belong to! It seems you need some discipline!"

Gracie "I refuse!"

I say strongly without wavering the slightest. Making the boy upset he starts loosening his belt and hitting me with it. The pain is unbearable I scream telling him to stop only to get curses as a response.

Bully "Why should I stop? Your just a lower life form learn your place!"

I get hit even harder, now the only thing I can do is scream. I faint from the pain the next thing I remember is waking up in a lavish room. I recognize it as the princess's room.

I am worried obviously I would be instantly killed if someone finds out I slept in the princess's bed. But before I can stand up and leave a hand pushes me down.

I get a warm towel laid on my head, and now I finally feel that all the bruises and cuts are bandaged. Looking at the person that's helping me, I am surprised to see Valerie Tepes our princess.

I try to get up again. But she stops me with a few simple words that make me for the first time in life feel at home.

Valerie "Lay down, what kind of princess would I be if I can't even protect my own servants?!"

Hearing these words made me cry, not in pain or loneliness like usual but in happiness. The first person to acknowledge me. She is the first person that ever said such things to me.

I am gonna help her however I can from now on.

Third Person (Narrator) POV

Gracie was trying her best to make friends with the princess. Only to get scolded for calling her princess or highness. Being her servant means she will have to call her what she wants.

It's decided the princess calls her Gra-chan or Gracie. While she calls her Valerie-sama or Valerie-hime.

Over the years the two maidens have grown close together becoming the best of friends. Only to be torn apart by the prince.

He started taking Valerie away more and more. And each time Gracie realizes that her precious princess loses the will to live. Investigation on her part revealed the shocking truth.

The prince was using his half-sister to bring back to life the corpses of women he rapes to death. Being made to watch these horrible acts soon broke the princess inside.

But seeing her friend about to become brought her back to the world if just for that moment of peace the princess thought then I can bring myself to life again.

Being cornered after Valerie and Gracie reached the border, Valerie told Gracie she can't leave. Gracie at that moment being attacked by Vampires of the clan. And forced to leave her friend behind awakened her sacred gear for the first time.

Devouring all vampires in an instant. Leaving only Valerie standing. Gracie made a promise to come back and save her somehow. And ran into the forest as fast as her young legs could carry her.

While the princess watching her collapsed from mental and physical exhaustion only waking up when all the carnage an angry devil caused has ended.
