21 Chapter 21: Blissey [2]

"It's been more than 5 hours... It seems Blessey's heavily injured for the operation to go this long...." I thought as I impatiently tapped my foot on the ground continuously while still sitting on a couch in the Pokémon Centre.

"Don't worry so much! Blessey will be fine." Serena, who was sitting beside me, assured, but I was still worried about Blessey.

"Sigh! Alright." I said as I stopped tapping my foot on the ground and then stood up and started to walk toward the exit of the Pokémon Centre.

"Where are you going?" Serena asked as she looked at me with worry, seeing my earlier concern.

"I'm going to get a coffee. Do you also want some?" I said as I looked back at her.

"Yeah! An orange juice." She said, and then I walked outside, near a vending machine where I put a coin and tapped a button as a can of coffee came out of the vending machine, and then I did the same thing once again but this time, I pressed the other button and then a can of orange juice came out from the vending machine which I grabbed both and then headed inside.

Upon entering, I headed straight to the couch where Serena was sitting quietly while playing with her phone.

"Here!" I said as I passed her the orange juice which she quickly grabbed.

"Thanks for it!" She said as I nodded my head and then I sat beside her and then opened my can of coffee and started to sip on it.

While enjoying my coffee, I also took out my phone and started to scroll through Vtube.

But then, suddenly the red light that was on the top of the door of the emergency room turned off, indicating that the operation was over and then from it came Nurse Joy as she took off her mask and we also stood up.

"So, how is Blessey?" I asked her as soon as she came near us but she didn't answer but instead scolded me.

"How can you be so irresponsible! As her trainer, how could you put her through so much torture? When we inspected her, her body was covered in deep injuries." She said as she started to scold me, thinking Blessey was my Pokémon.

"Uh, I forgot to say this but Blessey is not my Pokémon. And she was injured by an Arbok." said as I corrected her. I don't like accusations that's why.

"Oh, so that explains the poison she had inside her injuries." She said as she calmed down.

"So, how is she? Is she okay?" I said as I brought up the topic that she didn't answer in the first place.

"Uh, yeah! After the operation! She's sleeping peacefully right now. You can see her tomorrow as she will be fine tomorrow." She said as I sighed a breath of relief then after talking about Blessey's condition some more, we finally left for our room in the Pokémon Centre where we slept.

The morning quickly arrived as soon as I closed my eyes... In the morning, after waking up, I freshened up a little and then headed downstairs where I met Nurse Joy and after getting her permission, I headed to the operation room where Blessey was.

Inside the operation room, blessedly was sleeping peacefully but she quickly woke up hearing the sound of the door opening."Oh, you're awake already?" I said as I entered the room, ignoring the wariness of Blessey.

"Well, let me introduce myselfy first. I'm Kurokawa, the one who brings you here to treat after defeating the Arbok." I said as I noticed the wariness decrease when I said it.

"And to be honest with you, i want you on my team." When I said it, she quickly got on guard.

"Don't fret! I'm not here to force you,  I just want you on my team so that you can heal my Pokémon when they're exhausted/injured and besides that, I won't tell you to battle! Basically, you just have to be our nure joy." I said as I flashed a smile toward her as she seemed to be in deep thinking.

"Well, you don't have to give your answers now! I'll come here later to ask you once again! If you refuse, I'll release you right here. In the meantime, you can think clearly and thoroughly." I said as I started to walk out of the room to give her some time to think.

And after that, I headed back to the room where the sleeping Serena was.

When I left to see Blessey, she was sleeping and even when I returned, she was still asleep.

Since we needed to stay in Pewter City for some more time and that we had a lot of time left, I just let her sleep for some more time.

With that thinking, I left the Pokémon Centre and headed to an empty forest where I started to train my Charizard both physically and in his moves too.

For the next 3 hours, I trained him and I also worked alongside him to motivate him; we trained till we both were on the ground and after that, I called him back to his Pokéball and started to slowly walk toward the Pokémon Centre.

After reaching the Pokémon Centre, I woke up Serena and we both headed to a restaurant where we ate our breakfast.

I didn't forget about Charizard as I had taken him to a restaurant for Pokémon only and after all that, we returned to the Pokémon Centre.

After arriving, Serena headed back to the room while I headed to the room of Blessey to get her answer.

"So, have you thought about it?" I said as I entered the room, startling her a little.

"Ble Blessey." She nodded her head, indicating that she had thought it well.

"So, what's your answer? Coming along with us or not?" I said as I patiently waited for her answer.

"If your answer is yes then just come forward and touch your Pokéball! Here." I said as I took out the Pokéball which I had used to capture her and placed it on the ground as there wasn't any table on which I could put it too.

"And if your answer is no! Just shook your head in denial." I said as I waited patiently.

"Bles Blessey." She said as she seemed to be determined and then she got up from the bed she was lying on and then, slowly but surely, she came forward and then lightly tapped on the Pokéball as she was back to her Pokéball.

"So, that's your answer huh! Then, Welcome to the team, Blessey." I said with a smile as I picked up the Pokéball from the ground and then after getting Serena, we both headed to Mt. Moon once again.
