Conflicted, Singing sad songs and Misunderstandings

Team 9 runs through the trees and finally, the captain can't take it anymore because she saw that Akame has been looking in different directions.

"Are you planning on defecting..." the Captain stops and glares at Akame.

"I won't lie... It has been on my mind... Konoha has only been one misfortune to another for me... In my eyes, Konoha is nothing more than hell... What I have been thinking is will I be exchanging one hell for another?" Akame kicks a rock in defeat.

Sure Hiruzen gave her a steady foundation and she is indeed grateful but how can she possibly trust any of the higher-ups in the village? She remembers exactly how the higher-ups are in the anime and is tempted to kill them all and take over.

"But... Don't you have me? What about me?" White Fang asks with a hurt voice.

"I... I don't know... does someone like me even deserve to be happy and have friends?" Akame wonders... Because everyone always leaves her. Even in her past life, her girlfriend left her and Akame doesn't know why... She is so scared of her friends leaving her and is even more scared of romantic attachments.

"I don't know what you have been through nor do I know why you are afraid of getting attached to anyone but... I want you to know I really want to know you and be friends with you... If you don't deserve to be happy then no one does." Sakumo pours his feelings out.

Akame's tears drip off the bottom of her mask and she puts her hands on where the tears are dripping and rubs the wetness between her fingers. She promised she wouldn't cry in front of others as she was often told it was a sign of weakness by everyone she knew when she was once Claire and in this life as Akame she never had the energy or privilege to cry no matter how much she wanted to. Akame turns around and takes her Wolf mask off to wipe the tears and puts the mask back on.

Akame shakes her head... "Let's continue the mission... Sorry for wasting everyone's time." The Captain's gaze is softer when looking at Akame but her mask conceals it.

The captain knows the information about Akame and the personal information the first and second Hokage gave to her. Akame has major trust issues... She thinks Apologies are for the weak she thinks kindness is nothing more than an act of hypocrisy she says only actions matter. When she sleep-talked she mentioned she was abused physically and has experienced being abandoned when she needed someone the most.

They continue their way to Sunagakure and encounter some sand shinobi. Murasame jumps into battle and puts three into a Genjutsu and cuts all three in half and the other two were dispatched by White Fang. Akame lights the bodies on fire with her Jutsu Hell Flames. It's the hottest fire in her arsenal of fire-release jutsu.

The bodies were turned to ash within seconds. Sakumo uses water Ninjutsu to put it out but it was very difficult to put out the fire so he added wind chakra to make the water colder and that made it easier.

"Hell Flames doesn't spread... It just goes away on its own after a set time period..." Murasame says in a monotone voice.

"You.. hah... You could have told me that... Hah... before I used water ninjutsu..." White Fang breathes in and out from the strain of continuously using Water chakra and wind chakra without stopping for over 5 minutes. It made him out of breath. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but both of them are only 8 years old and don't have fully developed lungs yet.

After White Fang caught his breath he and Murasame caught up with the others easily. While they don't have developed lungs they are still Shinobi with Chakra and can use said chakra to speed themselves up without the need to use their lungs if only for a short time.

"I thought you would have run away." The Captain smiles behind her mask her tone still business-like but she is starting to take a liking to that man's Granddaughter.

"..." Murasame says nothing but her body language she is unable to control says she is annoyed. Murasame has never been able to control her body language in both lives. Her face may be expressionless pretty much all the time but her body language tells people how she feels.

"Alright, I'll back off for now." The Captain speeds up all the while having a smirk behind her mask that is unseen. But her teammates can tell just from the feeling of her chakra that the Captain is in a good mood even though a good mood is a rather broad range of emotions they take it as a good sign.

"Alright set up camp newbies!" The captain finally lets loose and finally has a voice filled with emotion. During work time the Anbu seem emotionless but they are anything but. Murasame sets up camp rather quickly as if she has done it thousands of times. Sakumo too does it easily due to his father's training.

Murasame uses her sword with the same name to carve words into the dirt saying she will be back by nightfall. Akame runs to the source of running water and sees a beautiful lake with a waterfall and a river for all the excess lake water to go. Akame smirks and takes her mask off. She sings a song from one of her all-time favorite artists. She sings Still Here by Digital Daggers. The duo's music helped her through some tough times.

Her Captain and two of her teammate's spy on Akame from the trees. Akame of course notices them but simply doesn't care. Unless they are someone at the Kage Level she will always know if she is being spied upon. Back on the Hokage rock, she learned a lesson that she should expand her senses to her surroundings while singing. However, Tobirama helped Tsunade hide and that is what allowed the both of them to successfully spy on her when she was in Hiruzen's backyard.

'while English is strangely enough spoken in the world of naruto the main language is Japanese... That goddess must have had a hand in that so that I was easily acclimated. How about some Japanese songs since it's the main language of this world... While I didn't spend much time on J-Music since I lived in the U.S I'm still pretty proud of myself since I sang a good deal of them as a hobby. In fact, I became such a good singer that people probably would have scouted me if I didn't die... Well, my decades of experience in singing can bloom here' Akame looks up at the sky and starts to sing Hated By Life by Kobasolo.

Afterward, she sings Parole by Sajou no Hana. White Fang and the rest of the team find Akame who just started singing Parole and they start to feel sad as the lyrics were just too depressing. After the depressing song Akame sings one last song called Warrior by Beth Crowley.

It caused a whole slew of misunderstandings. The Anbu captain thought the song was about a person that trained Murasame to become what she is now and ultimately abandoned Akame in the end. With sorrowful misunderstandings going through the minds of everyone Murasame walks back to camp and turns in for the night so she can get some rest.

Truly Akame just doesn't give a fuck and just wants to go to sleep not caring one bit about their misunderstandings.
