Ch3- First mission- Secure and Protect I

Its been a month since my graduation and have yet to go on a mission since my sensei Juzo has been training me in Kenjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu which we focused heavily on Taijutsu and Kenjutsu since most battles are quick and decisive and it is better to finish an opponent quick rather than draw attention with loud, flashy jutsu.

As I enter the training grounds which me and Juzo use, said man comes up to me and speaks.

"Arashi, you will pick up new gear which i have ordered from our northern shop and pack for a month since we are heading on a guarding supplies mission, mission debriefing will happen at the Kage tower in the center of the village. Don't be late you have thirty minutes."

As i go to reply Juzo disappears and the only thing left is a small pile of leaves. I curse his speed as I rush over to the north side of the village as I take to the roofs for quicker travel. When I reach the shop I ask the man that I had new gear to pick up and that the order is from Juzo Biwa, the man nods and takes me to get changed in the back.

I enter the back room and met with a collection of trays holding various pieces of equipment. One tray had a black cloak that looked liked the Akatsuki cloak just plain black with a symbol of the hidden mist village on the front left and back of it and not fully closed to allow for quick transfer of weapons. Another tray had arm guards and warmers, also having padded leg warmers. A third tray held chainmail, a padded grey vest and bandages to go around my neck. The last tray which had a new tanto and new replica of Kubikiribocho.

Once I was changed I looked into the mirror with a smirk having my replica sword on my back above the cloak and the tanto on the lower part of the back underneath the cloak. I left towards my house the get ready for the mission.

Once I arrived with fifteen minutes to spare I told my parents and started getting the supplies for the journey, my mother giving me a storage scroll for his things. I graciously accepted and sealed my belongings before given another set of scrolls being body containment scrolls in case of a potential bounty target. I then rushed towards the place he was meant to meet his master.

I arrived with five minutes to spare.

"You're late" was the deadpanned voice of his master.

"Hai, hai sensei, thanks for the new gear, I like it a lot."

I then bowed towards his Kage and waited.

"Juzo and yourself will be tasked with securing and protecting a caravan that is heading for Amegakure, protect it with your life, this is a C-ranked mission. I know that normally Genin are given D-rank missions but you are a special case and it is war time, I also want you to get used to killing outside of the village. This mission may go up a rank be careful, dismissed." was all the Kage stated as he kept looking at his papers.

Juzo and myself bowed as we dispersed the office and met on the roof of the Kage tower.

"Meet at the eastern gate, we will meet our clients there, his name is Gato, a new buisnessmen making a name for himself with his industry Gato industries. Lets go."

With a nod, Juzo and myself flickered for the east gate arriving to meet a small man with a suit, small black glasses and shoulder length black hair.

"Is this all I get for protection, I thought I bought a C-ranked mission." is all Gato said on our appearance.

"We are all you will need little man, you get what you paid for if not more since you have a Seven Ninja Swordsmen and his protégé, now shush or I will kill you myself." was all he said with a little bit of killing intent leaking out.

Gato got the message after gulping he turned and started yelling at the people moving the carriage to get a move on.

The mission officially started as I took my first steps out of the village.

The first week nothing much happened other than some wannabe bandits trying to raid the carriage but were dispatched by Juzo and myself. Gato tried to order me around like a pet before I shut him up by throwing a kunai next to his head which caused a snicker from Juzo, though he wouldn't admit it.

The second week we came up with a few problems, Konoha and Iwa having a skirmish near the border into Ame.

"JUZO we are surrounded by a group of Konoha nin, around one Jounin, two Chunin and five Genin" I yelled towards my sensei.

"I'll take the Jounin and a Chunin, you take the Genin and the remaining Chunin, I'll finish up quick so have some fun and don't die" Juzo ordered while finishing with a laugh and dashing at the Johnin and dragging the Chunin into his fight.

"AT LEAST PLACE A EARTH DOME AROUND THE CLIENTS" I shouted at Juzo as I ran towards the Chunin hoping to take him out quickly and then pick off the Genin.

I took out my Tanto and horizontally slashed at the Chunin causing him to try to jump back then spun my body and with my left hand leaving a exsplosive present before jumping up leaving a newly found bloody ditch decorated by a dead Chunin. I then made the signs for a famous Kiri technique.

"Suiton: Hidden Mist Jutsu" a thick layer of mist surrounded the remaining nin as I grabbed my replica sword and stated a quote I remembered from a famous wielder of the Kubikiribocho.

"Eight points. Larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart, now which will be my attack point" I stated a tingle of excitement going through my back, the famous speech made me feel awesome.

I then silently made two water clones and positioned them around the group of Genin in case they tried to run, now the Genin are in a circle looking at their surroundings.

"You only got lucky on that Chunin, you won't beat us with this pathetic jutsu of yours" a Genin stated holding his kunai in a defensive stance.

I then made a third water clone, placed a exploding tag on it, balanced it with my chakra so it wouldn't get wet and sent the clone into the middle of the group and let it explode killing three Genin and the other two to jump out of the way.

"That was a cheep trick you filthy Kiri nin" the same Genin stated which made me laugh.

"We are ninja, what do you expect" is all i said as i appeared behind him Kubikiribocho in hand and swung separating his head from its shoulders. The last Genin hearing the death of his companion dropped on his rear and started crawling backwards.

I released the hidden mist jutsu and looked at him with pity, and as I lifted up my blade two kunai then came and placed itself in the Konoha Genin's neck and the 'thud' of the body and look towards my master Juzo who had a smile and was covered in blood.

"How long ago did you kill the jounin and Chunin?" I asked.

"Right as you chilled the Chunin with that explosive tag, so pretty quickly, the reason I'm covered in blood is because I-"

"I don't need to hear it Sensei" I interrupted as we walked back to Gato.

"Nice speech Akira, where did you learn it?" Juzo asked.

"Thought of it myself, I am disappointed in that 'Chunin' though, can't believe he died to such a trick" I said shaking my head.

Juzo just laughed at my comment as we continued our journey successfully dodging any more fighting until we got to our destination.
