3 – Fight

Prateek, his heart pounding in his chest, slowly backed away from the snarling jackal that stood before him. He had recently started hunting in the wild, and he had never come across a creature like this before.

The jackal bared its teeth, its eyes glowing with malice. He could feel the fear rising in his chest, threatening to overwhelm him. He tried to focus his mind, to calm herself down, but it was no use. He was completely out of her depth.

The jackal lunged at him, its jaws snapping. Prateek barely had time to react, barely had time to raise his sword and block the jackal's attack. He felt the force of the impact as the jackal's teeth clamped down on his blade, and he struggled to keep his footing.

The jackal snarled and pulled back, trying to wrench the sword from the his's grasp. He gritted his teeth and held on, determined not to let go. The jackal lunged again, and again he once again managed to block its attack.

Prateek knew he couldn't keep this up for long. The jackal was too strong, too fast. He needed to do something, to find a way to turn the tide of battle in his favor.

He looked around, trying to spot an opening, a weakness in the jackal's defense. He spotted a faint glint in the creature's eye, a sign of a possible vulnerability. He hesitated for a moment, unsure if it was worth the risk.

But then he heard a voice in his head, a voice that sounded like his own but wiser, more experienced. It told him to trust her instincts, to take the chance.

Prateek gritted his teeth and lunged forward, thrusting his sword at the jackal's eye. The creature snarled in pain and stumbled back, giving him an opening. He didn't hesitate, he took it.

He sprang forward, his sword flashing in the dim light of the forest. The jackal tried to defend itself, but it was too late. Prateek's blade sliced through the creature's hide, cutting deep into its flesh. The jackal howled in pain and fell to the ground, its lifeblood flowing out onto the forest floor.

He finally breathed a sigh of relief, his hands shaking with the adrenaline rush of victory. He had done it, he had defeated the jackal. He had proved to himself that he was capable of more than he had ever thought possible.

He looked down at the fallen creature, and for a moment he felt a pang of pity. But then he remembered all the stories he had heard about jackals, about their cunning and their cruelty. He shook his head and turned away, leaving the jackal to its fate.

He walked back to the path further down into the forest, his heart still pounding in his chest. He knew that he had a long way to go before he could call himself a true blood, but he also knew that he had taken the first step. He had faced his fear and overcome it, and that was something to be proud of.

He smiled to herself, feeling stronger and more confident than he had in a long time. He knew that he would face many more challenges and dangers on his journey, but he also knew that he was ready for them. He was a fighter, and he would never back down.

Shila, Prateek's sister, watched in amazement as her brother fought off the snarling jackal. She had never seen him fight before, and she couldn't believe the skill and ferocity with which he fought.

He moved with grace and precision, his sword flashing in the dim light of the forest. The jackal tried to attack, but he was always one step ahead, always ready to defend himself.

The sister couldn't believe what she was seeing. She had always thought of her brother as gentle and kind, not as a fierce warrior. But here he was, fighting off a dangerous creature with ease.

She watched in awe as the battle raged on, her heart pounding in her chest. The sister stood there, her hands shaking with fear and excitement. She had never felt so alive, so proud of her brother. She had always known that he was brave and strong, but she had never seen it with her own eyes.

"You were amazing," she whispered in the air. "I can't believe how brave you were."

The sister blushed with pride, knowing that her brother has secured his first victory. She knew that she would never forget this moment, this incredible adventure that she had shared with her brother.
