Tis was a new day, a new beginning! A hope that- things that we do today make up for yesterday...

'Our names Alex and Alexa, and these are our caretakers...The Adventurers'

"WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TODAY!" Felicia cried out with pure unadulterated sadness as she banged her head on the table ...which was filled with empty plates

Garnet's stone cold face showed no emotion, and yet a single tear could be seen slowly flowing pathetically down her face. Looking down onto her empty plate, as if she looks hard enough more food would suddenly appear.

"Oh my- it seems like we ran out of food~" Roxy said with a smirk on her pale face, looking over at Felicia who was looking grumpier then usual.

"Don't even start with me Roxy!" Felicia said as she held her stomach, but Roxy still chose to attack "Looks like someones still hungry~ does the little hungy wungy elf need a widdle snackie~" Roxy teased as she started to laugh...before her stomach growled aswell.

"LOOK WHO'S TALKING NOW-"

'if it isn't obvious with the audible growling of stomachs and Hangry attitudes, they're still hungry'

Alex coughed into his fist getting all three of the ladies attention, clad in his butler suit he spoke "Madam's...that was enough food to last a family of 10-"

"Are you calling me fat!" Felicia lashed out, cutting off Alex. But Alexa swiftly intervenes as she came outta the kitchen and threw an apple at Felicia

"EAT THIS BI-"

Felicia swiftly caught the apple in hand and started to munch on it, satiating her hunger...for now "Still *munch munch* won't forgive you for calling me *munch* fat!" Felicia grumbled as she ate the apple in seconds. Stem, core and all.

Roxy smiled at the two wearily "I'm sorry you two- but we have grown accustomed to getting filled to the brim~...of your delicious food, that a normal size meal isn't enough for us anymore" although there was an innuendo in her words that she said with a slight smirk, she had an apologizing tone to it.

Alex sighed putting a hand on his face. Alexa answered for the two of them "No worries Mistress Roxy, we have been meaning to explore the city...so why not let us go to the market and familierize ourselves with the streets?" She asked as, also giving Roxy a cute look as if she wouldn't let them go out...

Roxy hummed in thought as she placed a hand on her cheek, "I don't know..." She turned to the others "What's the verdict girlies?"

"As long as you bring us food I don't care" Felicia said blandly as she sat back on her seat with an annoyed look on her face

Garnet nodded as she threw a bag of gold coins to Alex, whom promptly caught it. But it weighed a lot more then he expected- almost fumbling the bag.

"Oof-..." He grunted as he opened the bag to peer inside, Alexa looked in too as her eyes shone from the golden light the bag filled with gold coins seemingly gave. Which kind of reminded them of the chocolate that was wrapped to look like gold coins in their old world.

Felicia squinted at the heavy bag filled with coins, looking back at Garnet with an incredulous look "Isn't that too much money to give to these idiots?"

"Hey! We're not idiots!"

"Hey! We're not idiots!"

Garnet shrugged it off "We have too much money, what's the use of not wasting it?" "But what if they get robbed?" Felicia countered, it may not seem like it but she did somewhat care about them...

The two adventurers locked eyes, Garnet stone cold and Felicia with a frown. Even Alex could see lighting bouncing off each of their gazes-

Alexa on the other hand, bless her heart for speaking up "As much as I would love to see a cat fight between my two mistresses-" she said with a giggle, taking the bag of gold coins from Alex's hands "I agree with Felicia, for this is too much to carry around in public- I reckon that half of this bag would be enough to buy more then enough food-"

She said as she bowed while holding out the bag to Garnet, Alex quickly doing the same.

Garnet looked at the two with twitchy eyes as she sighed, scratching her head "Have I actually hit you guys in the head to much while we were training?" She muttered, taking the bag and pouring out half of it's contents into the table

"We may be your 'mistresses' but we are first foremost your guardians, we took you in as our pseudo son and daughter. Not just mere servants" she spoke in a soft tone

"Now straighten your backs" he voice going back to normal

The two servants slowly stopped bowing, a grin was on Alexa's face and a smile on Alex's. Roxy amused, giggled "Wow~ I guess the 'StoneCold Knight' has a soft spot~" much to Garnets dismay

Garnet groaned as she set the half empty bag of coins into Alexa's hands. "Don't call me that- that's such a horrible title"

"But it fits you~ c'mon you can't tell me that it's atleast accurate no?" Roxy's pushed forward again with her teases.

Alex and Alexa chuckled together at same time as Garnet groaned, putting her hands on her face "You two just go already- use the leftover change to buy something for yourselves"

With a playful smile they did a mock salute before they ran off out the door, their cackles echoing as the door slammed shut.

Felicia then shouted "DON'T FORGET TO BUY MORE APPLES!"

"OKAY!"

"OKAY!"

"AND HIDE THE MONEY BAG SOMEWHERE PEOPLE CANT SEE OR ELSE YOU'LL BE ROBBED"

although the two didn't respond or give a way of confirming they heard her. Felicia smirked a bit, crossing her arms on her chest.
