1 Reincarnation?

"This is me, isn't it?" standing in front of a mirror I ask myself as I look into it, a guy with shining silver hair and ocean blue eyes are reflected and the face is so beautiful that it can easily give an actor a run for his money, I mean beautiful not handsome, somehow the feeling I get is that of a ethereal beauty than that of a handsome hunk.

"Was I reincarnated or something?" I dont remember anything at all, living in the modern world and having a repetitive lifestyle I had nothing that could be considered unique about me, except for my hidden hobby. Playing Otome game or commonly referred to as GalGe, games which were meant for the female demographic.

"But still to think I died huh, it really is hard to accept. I mean where is my Truck-kun or a meeting with a goddess who gives me rule breaking skills anyway?"

Heading down the stair of the two storey building I was in I heard a voice of a small girl calling from below "Dan you are late! Just how much do you think I'll tolerate your laziness huh! I had to all the hard work again, act like a man for once will you!" So this body's name is Dan, but what do I do? I dont remember anything about this world or anything. How am I gonna explain that I'm not 'Dan' but just a passing by reincarnator. Have no choice huh. Should I do the amnesia act? But it definitely is going to hurt, ahh, what should I do? Well no helping it I guess, here goes nothing. Saying that in my mind I acted as if I tripped and fell down the stairs.

'Damn that hurt'. Just what is with this flooring it's harder than normal wood.

With my consciousness fading I hear the same girls voice screaming and running towards me while calling her mother.

I woke up feeling lethargic as if I weighed a ton and my head felt like it was hit by a hammer. I guess the floor was as hard as iron, I've never seen such strong wood though as I tried to get up from the bed I heard a voice, it was an old man wearing a greenish blue robe "You better not wake up kid you just fell down the stairs and are lucky someone found you or else I'm afraid even a high end potion would not have been of any help, forget the low grade one I gave you"

Ohh, so he gave me a Low grade potion huh, now I understand, not. What potion? What does he mean by high and and low grade is he talking about some drug thats going to expire and a pill that costs about a hundred dollars? For now let's ask him shall we.

"Excuse me but what do you mean by Low grade potion is it costly or anything? I dont have much money on me but I promise I'll pay you back one day so please let me go for the day"

The old man was stunned, his already white skin become even paler and paler and in a small voice asked me "Kid do you really not know what a low grade potion is?"

'Here it is, finally all the pain I suffered after reincarnation can finally be useful'

In an apologetic tone I said "I'm really sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about and for some reason Im not able to remember anything could you please help me?"

The old man who was turning even more paler after my words, was about to fall after his knees gave out but suddenly a girl with auburn colored hair and hazel eyes came into the room.

'She was the girl who called me lazy and lashed out at me isn't she'

"Dan!!! You are finally awake, oh my god I was so scared when you fell down the stair do you really not see where you are going? What would you have done if you got hurt or worse? Do you know how worried we all were? Hey! Why the hell aren't you saying anything? Is there something in my face?" The girl kept on ranting with no end,though with her voice clacking and teary eyes. I was about to interject when the old man who somehow got some strength back turned towards the girl, and said "Girl I think this boy here as lost his memory"

Now the girl was stunned, she kept alternating her gaze between me and the old man after about a minute of staring at me she finally asked. "Dan, you really dont remember me? Dan, tell me you remember me"

"I'm sorry miss but I really dont remember you" I replied in a polite tone you'd use against a senior or someone older that you.

"No way!! Old man tell me what happened why did he loose his memories? How do I get them back? Tell me!"

"Girl he just fell down the stairs for now leave him to rest you can ask about it later you should not agitate him right now, he needs to rest plenty"Saying that he left the room while dragging the auburn haired girl would was reluctant with him away.

"Ah, man that girl was so loud I think I was gonna die there. What's with that girl anyway?" Seeing the girl leave made me elevated I couldn't think or contemplate about what happened to me and now that I was here I should get ny priorities straight but before all that.

"Guess I need to know about this world as much as I can"
