10 CH - 8 - Nanny Mcdead - Part - Two

[INT. CASTLE LOFT, DINING ROOM - MORNING]

We see Noah and Alexis sitting at the table doing some work while Martha is preparing Breakfast.

Alexis, distracted from her reading due to the blender turns to sound only to see Grams fidgeting with it curious she asks " Hey Grams what are you making there??". But you can see that there is genuine concern mixed with shock in her voice. 

This might be because of the scene of Martha Chuking random fruits and veggies into the blender. 

Martha hearing Alexis's question answered with excitement in her voice " Ohh.. kiddo, today you are in for a treat because today I am making my world-famous Pancakes. It's my very own secret recipe... 😇"

Just as Alexis was about to ask something she hears a slight whisper from beside her "Ya right. World Famous among assassins maybe...." Noah while saying that stands up like a robot and mechanically walks away saying "Pancakes.... that sounds yum, too bad I am on a diet🤥🤥...."

Martha hearing this says "That's too bad...but hey on the bright side now there is more for the rest of us" while smiling at Alexis who wears a terrified expression on her face while faking a smile.

All Alexis could do was curse Noah internally while putting on a brave face as she helplessly stares at her brother jovially walking away with a book in his hand.

[INT. CASTLE LOFT, CASTLE'S STUDY - MORNING]

Castle is in his home office, writing on his laptop. On the laptop screen, it reads: "Nikki Heat had been in love. That was obvious. But what he didn't know until that very moment was... her heart had once been broken." Just then Noah walks in with a smirk on his face.

Noah notices Castle, writing, and immediately apologizes saying " Sorry Dad, didn't know you were writing in here. I was just gonna sit here and finish my book". Castle just brushes off the apology saying "Don't be Noah I am done with it anyway." 

Noah shakes his head and takes the seat in front of Castle and asks him "So did you catch the culprit in the dead Nanny case??" rather curiously. Castle replies "Yeah we did. She is on her way up the river as we speak."

Noah continues "Nice. Was it who you thought??" "It wasn't actually " replies Castle with slight surprise in his tone. 

Noah surprised at this says "That should have been one hell of a story to surprise you like that". To which Castle just "Mmm-hmm." in agreement. Continuing Noah adds "You know, you better be careful and up your game or you'll turn into one of your readers."

Castle immediately replies "Yay, you just ruined it for me saying that" but Noah continues saying "Dad, it's okay to be surprised sometimes you know. If nothing surprises you in life then life is no fun. And if life is no fun then what is the point of living"

CASTLE reminiscing old memories with a smile adds "Son, both you and Alexis surprise me all the time."

[Noah chuckles and hugs Castle]

Noah breaks the hug and says while exiting the room to let Castle work in peace "I'll see you in the Evening, Dad."

CASTLE "Good day, Champ."

[Castle looks at his laptop; Noah then stops by the door and glances at Castle]

Noah calls Castle "Dad?" Castle replies "Mmm-hmm?". Noah with a vibrant smile says " Just so you know you were the Jordan of Nannies"

CASTLE's smile widens as his shoulder gains a few inches with pride and says "I have been GOATED"

[Noah moves off. Castle closes the laptop and opens the top drawer looking for something. It's not there, so he opens another drawer. Finds it: a small framed photograph of Castle, Alexis, when she was 4 and Noah when he was 5, in a park, walking hand-in-hand, away from the camera, their backs toward us.]

[INT. OSTROFF CENTER ]

Inside we see a kid lying on a bed looking at the sealing. The kid has blonde hair and a small frame, he is Erik van der Woodsen. After a lot of contemplation firms his mind and dials someone.....ring..... ring..... (picks up). " Hey it's me Erik..... could please come to the Ostroff Center..... I am gone get bored to death if this keeps up. Thanks, Noah.... (call ended)"

About 5 hours later.

[EXT. OSTROFF CENTER]

We see a Blonde lady walk out of a luxurious car wearing all black with black sunglasses on. This is none other than Lily van der Woodsen. She walks into the building past the nurse's office onto the room where her son Erik is admitted to check up on him. As she nears the room, she hears laughs from her son's room which is rather uncharacteristic since his attempted suicide. She fears rumors spreading if someone knows of this and the loss of reputation she would face, causing her to maintain caution as she slowly opens the door only to find two boys playing a card game of sorts. One of the boys her son Erik, seeing him smile so happily brings her mind some relief. As she enters the room the other boy who she now recognizes is Noah, a friend of Serena's. She announces her presence by opening the door completely only to hear Erik yell "UNOooo" Noah throws one of his cards to the center with a defeated look on his face only for Erik to once again erupt saying "And I win...." Then he looks to the door to see his mother looking at him with a loving smile on her face. Seeing Erik look behind him towards the door Noah also turns to the door where he sees Erik's mother standing so he greets her "Mrs. van der Woodsen" She greets him back saying " Noah." and continues to thank him " Thank you Noah for coming and keeping Erik company. Thank you very much."

Noah replies " Please, Erik is like a brother to me. So there is no need for all this." hearing this Lily just smiles thankfully. Noah looks at the tie and seeing that it's getting late he says "Well it's getting late. I should take my leave. It was fun hanging out Erik we should do it again. So until next time." and proceeds to exit the room.

While driving Noah's cell starts ringing so he parks the car on the side of the road and answers the call " Hello... Spence, it's been such a long time..... oh I see ..... where are you exactly... ohhh hey that's ... quite nearby give me 10 mins I will be there."

Noah Restarts the car and drives off to meet a guy named Spence😏😏.
