Reincarnated Into A Girl

Reincarnated Into A Girl is about a college student, Winston Zach, who had an ordinary everyday life and was basically a normal guy, there was nothing special about him. But one fateful day, as he was walking to the bookstore after classes, minding his own business, he suddenly got hit by a car. When he woke up in his hospital bed, he had been reincarnated into a girl, and her name was Alice Morton. She was a girl born into a rich, and loving family. Her life was the complete and utter opposite of how Winston's life used to be. Winston will need to get used to life as Alice Morton, no matter how strange it was to him. Note: I didn't know what genre to select for this novel because he is a dude that got reincarnated into a girl. I don't know if he counts as a girl or guy (people had different opinions on this so I just chose the one with a Teen genre). So, sorry if the genre (or the gender) isn't correct. They didn't have the same list of options for the genre for male leads as they do for female leads and vice versa. I find this really annoying. Thank you for reading this and sorry for (probably?) wasting your time. Hope you will read and enjoy my novel :).

Chapter 9

Nathan dropped us off at the mall, he waved and told us, "I will come to pick you, ladies, up when Miss Sam gives me a call. Have a nice shopping trip," and with that, he drove away.

Sam grabbed my arm with one hand and hooked her other arm with Sue's, "Let's hurry up and go shopping." She said as she ushered us into the closest store with clothes in it.

The shopping trip was fun, Sue was adorable, whenever Sam recommended her clothes or accessories, she would blush and stutter.

By the time it was lunch, we were all exhausted.

Sighing, Sam flopped down on the bench and blew a strand of hair out of her face, "Whew, shopping is exhausting. My feet are killing me."

Grinning, I poked her arm, "Probably because you're wearing 4-inch heels. How do you even walk in those things?"

She grinned, and flipped her hair, "It's due to my natural grace and elegance of course."

Turning to Sue, Sam asked her, "How are your feet feeling."

Sue turned a lovely shade of pink, and stuttered out, "T-they feel a little s-sore, but o-other than that, t-they feel f-fine."

The moment I was about to say something, pressure started to rise from my throat and before I knew what was going on, I barfed. Looking down at my hands, I saw they were covered with blood.

Suddenly a sharp pain sliced through my head, making me double over, everything became blurry, and I heard someone calling out Alice's name frantically. Before I could respond to her, I blacked out.

When I finally opened my eyes again, I saw a girl crouching next to me. She looked exactly like me, well, she looked like Alice.

Poking my cheek, the person asked, "Are you still alive?"

Groaning, I leaned on my elbow and some hair flopped into my face. My eyes widened, the hair was black.

Looking down at my hands, I realized they were no longer the small, slender, and elegant fingers of Alice Morton, but the long awkward fingers of my previous body, Winston Zach.

I stared at the girl before me, scanning her from head to toe, "Who are you?"

She stared at me for a few seconds before answering, "I'm Luna."

Sitting, I looked at her, she had a cold-looking expression on her face. Her complexion was as pale as snow. She had a river of flowing silver hair with strands of gold here and there. It reached just below her hips and her eyes were a grey-ish white color that made them look like a looming full moon in the night sky. She was so beautiful it was actually a little scary, "I'm Winston."

She smiled, "Hello, Winston. I have a few things I need to talk about with you before I send you back to Alice's body."

Scrunching my eyebrows together in confusion, I asked her, "Back to Alice's body? You mean I'm not in her body right now?"

Luna nodded, "You are indeed not in her body, but in a space that is not accessible to any physical human body."

...the fack? I stared at her in confusion, "Then how are you here and who- actually you already answered that, so, what are you? I'm hella confused right now."

The woman sighed, and continued to talk, "To answer the questions you asked, Alice was sick, and only she knew about it, well technically, it was her soul that was sick. I came to her one day and we had a little chat together. After that chat, she agreed to give up her body and give it to someone who was about to die, so they could have another chance at living. Just so it happened, it turned out the person was you, and just as she was walking home from our little talk, she got hit by a car just as you did."

She cleared her throat, and shrugged, "As for your question about me, all you have to know is that I am a powerful being, nothing more and nothing less."

I nodded, I was pretty sure she wasn't going to give me another answer even if I asked her, "So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?"

"It is about your body in your previous life, it is currently laying in a hospital bed in a coma. I would like you to decide whether or not you want to let it die or let another soul possess it and have another chance at living just as Alice did for you."

"Wait, it's in a coma, wouldn't that soul just be in a body that is technically alive but not really?" I asked her.

Luna shook her head, "Once the soul enters that body, it will come out of the coma once it settles in. When another soul enters someone else's body and fatal diseases or injury are cleared away."

"How common is this kind of thing? I mean giving your body away for someone else to live in?"

After a few seconds of thinking, Luna tapped her chin and answered, "Hmm, about one out of every five hundred million dead people."

My jaw slacked, "Holy crap. There are more people like me?"

"Yes, but probably not in this dimension."

I stared at her in wonder, there are different dimensions? Snapping out of it and clearing my throat, I gave her the answer to her question, "Oh, to answer your question, I want another person to be able to have another chance at life."

She raised an eyebrow at me, "Okay, now that that's over with, I have something from Alice," she patted around her body, "Where did I put it?"

Reaching into her neckline, "Ah, here-"

"Gah, why!? What are you doing!?" I asked, flinging my arms over my eyes.

Rolling her eyes, she took out a piece of paper, "Relax, I'm not doing anything weird."

I glared at her, blushing a little, "Why did you put it in there?"

She waved the paper around, "Had nowhere else to put it, do you see any pockets in this dress, no, you don't."

"Aren't you an all-powerful being or something? Can't you just store it somewhere?"

"Meh, I'm too lazy to use my powers for something as trivial as that. And for your information, I did store it somewhere," she shrugged nonchalantly, "Besides, I'm only powerful, not all-powerful, that's my boss."

She handed me the piece of paper, "Now read it, it's a letter from Alice."

Unfolding the letter, I began to read:

Dear Mr. Winston Zach,

I don't have many things to ask of you, but there are 3 main things I want you to do for me:

1. Please take care of my family in my stead, or should I say let them take care of you.

2. Please finish writing and publishing the rest of the stories I had planned, Luna told me you have most of my memories.

3. And lastly, I hope you live this life to your fullest because I wasn't able to do that for myself.

Now that I've said what I needed to say, have a nice second chance at life, and I wish you and my family well.

Sincerely,

Alice Morton

I'M ALIVE (surprisingly)!! Hope you enjoyed :). Sorry, it took so long for me to publish another chapter >﹏<.
