6 Dungeon(2)

Will narrowed his eyes and immediately casted his only spell.

A Lightning bolt dashed to the goblin and hit him at his back.

"Kuueeeeckkk", the goblin fell down.

Though he wasn't dead but his whole body was spasming due to the shock.

Will again casted the lightning bolt spell aimed at the goblin's head.

Instead of the head it hit the goblin again at his back.

But this was enough to kill him.

The goblin turned into light particles and vanished and dropped some items.

'Hm..One shot is not enough to kill the goblin. Further even when I aimed at it's head , it missed….. Guess this is because of less proficiency'

Will looked at the spell in his status.

Skills -

Lightning bolt (Rank G) [10]- can shoot lightning bolts

Currently his proficiency in the spell was just 10.

Each spell's proficiency started at 1 when just learnt and went up all the way to 100.

As the proficiency increased so did the damage of the spell and the accuracy of using it.

As to how to increase the proficiency ? Simply by using it.

The more one used a spell, the more its proficiency increased and hence, more would be the damage and accuracy.

Will went to the place where the goblin died and picked up the items.

Will kept the item in his dimensional ring and went to the end of the cave.

As soon as he reached there , he heard a voice in his mind.

*Go to the next room or exit the dungeon ?*

"Next room"

Darkness spread across Will's eyes and few seconds after he found himself in another room.

There he saw another goblin, but this time the goblin was looking at him.

"Kueeekkk", The goblin rushed at Will.

He again casted lightning bolt.

The goblin fell down and it's body was spasming again.

Will again used his spell and killed the goblin.

He then proceeded to pick up the items.

"Oh.. I finally found the tempering pill." Will smiled and kept the items in his ring.

He then proceeded to the next room.

This process, of facing one goblin after entering a new room continued till room 5.

When Will entered room 6 , he saw 2 goblins in his front.

The one closer to him didnt have any weapon.

But the one at the back had a sword in it's hand.

As soon as they saw him, they both rushed towards him.

Will narrowed his eyes.

'Hm..If I attacked the one in the front, I wont have time to cast the spell again and the goblin with the sword would be on me'

He casted his spell, but not on the one closer to him but at the goblin who was farther and carrying the sword.

The sword carrying goblin fell.

But at the same time Will found the 1st goblin throwing a punch at him.

Will tried dodging , but was hit in his stomach.

"Ughh"… Will moved back.

"Keckk kueckkk kueckkkk" The goblin laughed at him.

Now any intelligent being would know that one should never give time to his opponent to rest and recover, but well what can we say…. Will's opponent was a GOBLIN.

We have strong goblins, ruthless goblins, courageous goblins but no such thing as an INTELLIGENT goblin.

By the time Will recovered , the goblin was still laughing at him.

'This bastard…..' Will thought of casting his spell towards the laughing goblin but stopped himself from doing it.

Will looked at the other goblin.

He had stopped spasming and was on his back trying to stand up.

Will immediately used a bolt to finish him off.

When this happened the 1st goblin stopped laughing and continuously looked at Will and the spot where his teammate vanished.

He then ran towards Will to attack again.

But this time Will had enough time to cast a spell again.

All the goblin saw was a bright flash of light and it was on the ground and after that another flash and then nothing.

'I underestimated the dungeon. High mana doesn't make a difference if I don't get enough time to cast my spell. Luckily it was a weak goblin, whose punch didn't cause any real damage. But I could have died if it would have been a strong monster or a goblin with a weapon…'

"I need to increase the proficiency of my spell first…." Will tightened his fists and had a new resolve in his eyes.

He picked up the items on the ground and then exited the dungeon.
