16 Brown Wolf's forest(2)

At this moment Will started taking long breaths to calm himself down.

'Waiting for their attack would mean death.'

With this thought, he fired 2 bolts each towards the direction of the wolves.

The bolts towards 3 of the wolves missed while 1 of the wolves who was behind him got hit and turned into white light.

Will didnt wait for the wolves to think what had just happened and immediately an arrow was fired towards the lone wolf at the back.

The wolf was still making sense of what had happened and how one of their partners was killed, when an arrow rushed towards it.

Darkness spread across its eye and it became motes of light and disappeared.

While this was happening the 2 wolves at the front started running towards Will to attack him.

Will looked at the 2 wolves coming towards him and started focussing on the one at the back.

Again two bolts were fired at it.

The wolf got startled. Since it's wolf partner was running in front of him, he couldnt jump forward and hence jumped on the left side.

While he regained his footing from the jump, 1 bolt rushed towards it and killed it.

Will knew that since the wolf couldnt jump in the front because of his partner , it would either jump on the left or right and hence had fired 2 bolts in both the directions.

Meanwhile the wolf in the front came very near to Will and thus attacked him.

"BAM" , the wolf fell.

A solid shield was between the fallen wolf and a smirking Will.

'The shield is quite sturdy. Worth every penny'

He then fired another bolt and killed the last wolf which was trying to recover from its collision with the shield.

'Phew. This was a close call. If I didnt have so much mana or the shield , i would have had to leave the dungeon , else I would have died.'

Will swiped the sweat that had accumulated on his face and then moved forward.

"Chocolate as always ?" A blonde girl asked another girl with red hair.

"Oh you know me so well, Nora. Ofcourse my favourite chocolate icecream" The red haired girl replied.

"Emily , you gotta try different flavours you know ? " The blonde said while rolling her eyes.

"What can I say Nora , chocolate is my favourite."

If one would have carefully looked at Emily's eyes right now, they could have sensed sadness and melancholy for just a split second but it was immediately replaced by happiness and playfulness.

"Jeez... classes start in 2 weeks you know ? Our days of enjoyment would be over."Emily swiped a fake tear from her eyes

"Such a drama queen." Nora again rolled her eyes while giving Emily her ice cream.

"Hey hey. You atleast have your boyfriend with you in the class. Poor old me would be all alone."Emily punched Nora lightly on her shoulder.

"Please. All that musclehead can think of is training and fighting. This has become even more troublesome after he lost his fight to Silver." Nora said with a poker face.

"Oh come on, you know you would get this only when you accepted White's proposal." Emily chirped.

"Sigh....Let's chance the topic. You got that new spell ?" Nora said while eating her ice cream.

"Yes Sis. With this spell, I am one step forward on my journey to become the greatest tank." Emily beamed with a bright smile on her face.

If one would have looked at how frail the physique of Emily was, one could never imagine that this young girl was currently the strongest tank of 1st year at Divine.

Emily and Nora were sisters. Cousins actually.

Their parents together owned the Angel's guild - the current number 1 guild of the continent.

Not only this but Emily's father came in the top 10 strongest Human list and was the strongest tank of humanity.

Since Emily's role model was her father, she had taken after him and decided to be a tank.

At first the guild members were scared for her but when they saw her fighting style, her presence of mind, they knew that she had the potential to become one of the greatest tank.

The work of the tank was to attract the monster's attention and stall till it's team members would kill it. For this the tank had to always correctly time it's attack so that the monster's attention remains on it and doesnt shift to its teammates.

And Emily did this perfectly. Her timing, her presence of mind, everything was so good that never once in any of the fights did the monster rush to any of her teammates.

"Dont worry Sis. I am going to be the best tanker and protect you." Emily smiled.

"Sigh.....Try to take less damage from the monster's first" Nora again rolled her eyes.

Nora was not a fighter, but still could be perhaps called the most important person of any team. Yes. Nora was a healer. Quite a good one infact.
