It shrieks loudly feeling an intense pain all over its body.
Many spikes were piercing him like tofu and the spike gave out a red glow at high temperatures.
Yang wen look down at his work and smiled and was satisfied with his work
"It was fun playing with you but unfortunately I'm busy so let's end this standoff," yang wen said.
He condenses water using a technique that drowns him and kept discharging lightning bolts till it dies.
Yang wen let out a deep breath and lay down as he felt a familiar aura rushing at his location.
"Young master, are you hurt? Where is the demon beast? Did you kill it?" called out loud as she looked around and asked him many questions.
"Im alright, As for my injuries I spent all my qi reserves and lack stamina, it's nothing serious and how many times do I have to tell you it's brother Zhou! and yes I killed him his body is inside the pit", he said.
"I apologize, brother zhou wen," said Zhou jing in a stiff tone.
"Man your acting sucks, try to get used to it and don't use formality while having a conversation with me, oh and what happened to the smaller demon beast? "Yang wen said.
"I killed more than half of them after your help in getting out of the encirclement and most of them ran away when they heard a loud shrieking sound, I came rushing after dealing with them," said zhou jing.
After resting for a while they gathered all the demon beasts inside the storage ring and went back to the city.
Inside Yang wen rented house.
"Jing'er, I don't know how long I'll stay in closed-door cultivation so don't wait up on me and do your own business," yang wen said casually while taking out half of the demon beast they hunted and handing it to her.
"I understand brother zhou, I'll refine refined these demon beasts with herbs making body-strengthening pills for you," said Zhou jing.
"Okay thank you jing'er your the best" praised yang wen.
Zhou jing nodded with a happy smile.
Yang Wen didn't learn any side profession, he doesn't have time for it as it takes too long to master any one of them.

Removing his shirt Yang wen took out a pill and put it inside his mouth and immediately dive inside the pot.
"arghh" groans.
'This is more painful than I thought, now the hard part! First I must absorb the blood qi and forge my skin, muscle, bones, and lastly blood vessels.
After that I'll reach the peak of the 12th Layers of the body forging realm.' yang wen thought
Yang wen is currently cultivating his body, like spiritual cultivation, body cultivation has the same realm but it consumes more resources than spiritual not to mention the pain and slow progress
While gathering qi in meditation doesn't hurt at all which made many people give up on body cultivation.
This is why it's often said weak-willed cannot cultivate body cultivation techniques.
Yang Wen read many body-forging realms scripture and choose a technique that focuses on a sturdy body, high stamina, reflex and regeneration.
While giving up on burst power as he thinks his Qi will make up for it after all he can't add everything to his technique that would only make it less effective.
The body cultivation has 10 realms like spiritual cultivation, from body forging, and blood qi to the body foundation realm and so on.

As yang wen spends most of his time inside his cauldron he quickly managed to reach the peak of the 12th layer realm this time it didn't even take him long only 3 years and now he was ready to break through the blood qi realm.
Getting out of the cauldron he looked at the blood mixed with herbs which now turned black with a smelly odour.
He went outside and saw a pit that was dug and dumped the impurities of his body inside it and poured down the soil.
"Hmm didn't know that I was talented in body cultivation, I should focus more on it, it will provide
me the lifespan needed for cultivating 6 element roots" said yang wen.
