Richard: "Ah, I may as well take one weapon from here"
Richard scanned the weapons lining the walls of the colosseum, considering his options carefully. After a moment of deliberation, he reached out and selected a sturdy-looking sword with a balanced grip.
Richard: "This should do."
With the sword in hand and his newfound skills at the ready, Richard turned back towards the gate
Richard: "Its time to test out my first EX rank skill that actually does something!"
The heavy gates creaked open, revealing the vast expanse of the Roman-style colosseum. The sunlight poured in, illuminating the sandy arena.
On the opposite side, Youmu stepped forward, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword, her expression a mixture of nothing and also nothing
Richard: "System, show her stats. And any descriptions you can while your at it"

Roukanken is a long-bladed katana made by legendary youkai, too long to be wielded by normal humans. it has the power to kill ten phantoms in one strike without training. Even though phantoms are unkillable.

[Hakurouken S+]
Hakurouken is the ancestral wakizashi of the Konpaku family, which only they are capable of using. It has the power to dispel the confusion of those it cuts. That is, using it on humans will cause them minor pain and discomfort though it is also able to kill them, while using it on phantoms will send them to nirvana.
This can also send spirits to heaven even if they don't deserve it.

Richard observed Youmu's stats and inventory, taking note of her formidable weapons, Roukanken and Hakurouken.
Richard: "Its kinda unfair that you can take those weapons with you. But then again I brought an EX rank skill so who am I to complain"
They both start to slowly close the distance with soft slow strides
Youmu's eyes narrowed slightly, acknowledging his words but maintaining her composure. She drew Roukanken with a fluid motion, its blade gleaming ominously in the sunlight.
Youmu: "I have no clue what you mean by an ex rank skill. Also where did you take us?"
Richard gripped his sword tightly, feeling the power of the Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist He readied himself, thinking that this may cause him trouble.
Richard: "let's see how this plays out."
With that, the battle commenced. Richard moved first his speed nearly blinding as he closed the distance between them in an instant. His fist hurdling towards Youmu, aiming for a decisive strike
Richard: "God Slayer Instant Attack!"
Richard activated his active skill God Slayer Instant Attack. This channelled his energy into his fist, aiming a punch at Youmu
Youmu: "wha-"
*Splat*
Richard's punch landed squarely on Youmu's cheek turning her head into a red paste and then sending her now detached body reeling backward with the force of the blow. The impact echoed through the colosseum, leaving a stunned silence in its wake.
Richard: "Arg! I didn't mean to I-"
Richard's eyes widened in shock as he watched Youmu's body fly backward from the force of his punch.
[Match Over. Returning All fighters to Previous Location]
The sudden announcement from the system snapped Richard out of his daze. He felt a rush of energy enveloping him as the colosseum faded from view, replaced by the familiar surroundings of Eientei.
Richard stumbled slightly as he regained his bearings, his heart still racing from the intensity of the battle.
Eirin: "Richard, are you alright? There was a flash of yellow light then you disappeared for a couple seconds. Along with Youmu"
Richard blinked, trying to make sense of what just happened. He looked around, realizing he was back in Eientei
Richard: "I... I'm fine b-but she just... I didn't mean to"
Richards attention was soon taken after he heard a stoic and calm voice speak to him
Youmu: "Care to explain what is going on?"
Richard turned to see Youmu standing there, completely unharmed, her expression still a mixture of nothing and also nothing. The sight of her unharmed and composed threw him off balance.
Richard: "Youmu, you're okay?"
Youmu nodded slightly.
Youmu: "Yes"
Richard was Dumbfounded, Since he had just seen Youmu's Head splat into a red mist right in front of him
Richard: "...Did the godly item revive her?"
Eirin, looking relieved but curious, stepped forward.
Eirin: "Can someone explain... all of what just happened?"
Richard took a deep breath, recounting the events that took place over the coarse of the day
Richard: "S-Sure, I'll explain everything. Just give me a moment."
He paused, turning his thoughts inward.
Richard: 'hey system, can I use that one time command now?"
[Yes, the user is able to enter one command that the loser of the duel must follow]
Richard turn his head to the floating blue hologram and begins to type in the command
[User command entered]

[Done!]
[Command (Always do what Richard tells you to do) is in effect]
Richard watched as the hologram confirmed the command. He felt a strange mix of power and responsibility settle over him.
Richard: "Wait that actually worked? I thought it would reject me"
He stared at the floating hologram in disbelief.
Richard: "Its kinda like asking a genie for infinite wishes. Its just... not right"
He looked at Youmu, who stood there calmly, waiting for his next move.
Richard: 'Wait why has she not tried to kill me yet? We have been back for like 2 minutes'
Richard: "Youmu uhh... I command you to not attack us"
Youmu's expression didn't change. She simply nodded.
Youmu: "Understood. Although I never had any intention to attack anyone"
Richard looked at her in surprise
Richard: "Eh?! But you smashed through the roof and said that you were searching for me?"
Youmu: "I understand the confusion. I went here through the roof as I had sensed a large disturbance in Eientei. And as for why I was searching for you..."
Youmu paused slightly
Youmu: "...I wanted to apologise"
Richard blinked, taken aback by Youmu's words.
Richard: "Apologize? For trying to murder me?"
Youmu looked at him with a calm and sincere expression. But still very stoic
Youmu: "Yes, I went a bit overboard in my guard duties and I wanted to say sorry. But that's not why I'm here"
Richard: "Wha- but? I command you to tell me the truth. Why are you here?"
Youmu: "I came here because I sensed a great disturbance in the spiritual realm. It seemed to be centered around Eientei. As if a large barrier covered the area.
Richard's eyes widened at Youmu's revelation. A barrier had suddenly formed around Eientei according to her
Richard: "A barrier? Ah! wait a minute"
Richard: "A couple minutes ago I made one to protect Eientei from people who may come to harm it"
Richard's realization made him feel both relieved and foolish.
Richard: "So this is just a big misunderstanding then, huh?"
Youmu nodded.
Youmu: "It seems that way. Your barrier is strong enough to affect the spiritual realm, which is why I sensed it. But it's good to know that it wasn't meant to cause harm."
Eirin, who had been listening intently, finally spoke up.
Eirin: "Well, that clears up some confusion. However, are you sure this will protect us? if it will then I wont cause an incident."
Eirin: "But if it wont..."
Eirin's words hung in the air, adding a weight to the situation. Richard felt the pressure of their expectant gazes.
Richard: "I understand your concern, Eirin. The barrier should protect us. The reason Youmu got in was because she had no intent to attack us so she was allowed into the barrier"
'Although she could probably cut the barrier and the earth along with it' Richard thought as he was trying to assure Eirin
Eirin nodded slowly, absorbing Richard's explanation
Eirin: "Alright. I believe you Richard. I wont cause an Incident as long as this barrier is working"
As soon as Eirin said these words Richard blew a sigh of relieve
Richard: "Alright! nice, if we are all sorted out. I'm going to head back home
As Richard was tiring away Eirin put a hand on his shoulder intending to turn him towards her
Eirin: "Speaking of home... Did you actually just forget your first home here?"
Richard turned towards Eirin
Richard: "uhh... Yea"
Richard looks down slightly
Richard: "Sorry"
Eirin's poker face breaks for an instant. her eyes looking downcast before immediately returning to her stoic face
Youmu: "I sense some tension here so I'm going to leave. And I also have no reason to stay"
Youmu then immediately fly's away. leaving The two to speak
Eirin: "Richard I believe you, although I'm a bit disappointed. You can go now. I wont take anymore of your time"
Richard nodded before turning away
Richard: "Now I feel kinda bad..."
[System Notification]
The sudden Notification caught Richards Attention
[Use Ex [#£"(^] ]
[Y/N]
Richard: "Eh, what? isn't this the useless ex rank thing I got from that Christmas donation
The system notification intrigued Richard. He couldn't remember the exact details of the EX rank item he received from the Christmas donation, but the timing seemed too coincidental.
Richard: "Well, might as well give it a shot."
He hesitated for a moment before responding.
Richard: "Yes."
With a soft hum, the notification disappeared, and Richard waited, curious to see what would happen next.
*Splat*
A hand had entered Richard back and emerged on the other end. The hand holding his heart and blood spewing everywhere around the room
Richard: "GAH!
As Soon as Richard had uttered any semblance of a word, the hand had entered and left his body multiple times leaving his upper and lower body looking like swiss cheese. While this is happening to him, Richard turns his head back to see who is attacking him
Richard: "I-Its you? why..."
When Richards uttered these words he had lost all of his strength in his legs and fell to the floor in a pool of his own blood
Richard: "H-how, I got so s-strong..."

{A/n here, or should it be Blender? I don't know , but anyway as you may of noticed I have taken a lot of hiatuses recently. 2 months I think? anyway I am back in action. I have no more exams and I am free finally. My friends are going to start the 2 week Minecraft phase on Friday but don't worry I will still upload. Also this chapter counts as this weekends upload because that's the whole reason I made this so early)
If you did not know, this is the start of the end of the book, but we still have a lot of chapters to go, but there's basically one more ark left. two if you count the training ark. If you go back a couple chapters you can submit some villain looks I think. It was in a non content chapter. Might be the one when I talked about getting stabbed
also I forgot the donation again. oopsies, surely you guys don't really care about that after waiting a month right?

2) Have the motive explained at the end of the book and have it be a theme thorough the chapters from now on until the last chapter (better long term)
