21 (Another Novel?)

Yes you heard the title right I will be making another novel, and no I will not be stopping this one, its just that I will do this book after I have completed this fanfic, But anyway i want you guys to help me mould this a bit. Please give me a bunch of suggestion on what to do with name the story etc

Title: The Only Negator : The Magic World Hates me! (Subject to change if title is too cheesy)

Background: After global warming nearly wiped out the population the genius inventor ____ with the help of the entire world creates the vicissim engine, this massive engine monitors the co2 levels in the atmosphere and consumes co2 based of if the amount exceeds the limit. This massive engine is 40 miles wide. After this machine solved global warming society went back to normal after 200 years. After technology had advanced by leaps and bounds the massive engine was moved to a artificial floating island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The island in question is the new HQ of the united nation, of which there are only 5 nations left in the world after the global warming crisis. But after 200 years of mundane life and peace. A sudden shift happened to the world. People started to deform in grotesque ways. Some grew extra eyes, some grew more legs or a tail while some had very minor thing changed, like having a purple eye colour. This obviously sent the world into pandemonium wondering how this could happen. But soon after the world had another event happen. Magic had appeared. Some people were able to levitate things with there mind. Or channel this power into great feats of strength. This causes chaos for a while until things settled down. But people wanted answers so they turned to the government. The government Hired the previous genius inventor who by this point was just a robot with his conscious inside, to study and give an answer to this sudden phenomenon. After Months of Study it was found out that the Vicissm engine had created a by-product when it converts co2 into what people presumed to be normal electrons after countless study's. But what the Inventor had found was that a the electron has its poles reversed making it a positron(antielectron). The slow release of these particles into the atmosphere had caused the mutations and powers to occur. However the laws of physics still applied so the law of equivalent exchange was in place. To use the powers your body would need to convert the anti electrons into energy. The deformities on your body was the medium that allowed this to take place and also was the storage for anti electrons so you are able run out and lose your powers until it refilled naturally and also you could not gain anti electrons over the limit that can be contained by your deformity without consequence. After 50 years the whole world had accepted this as normal and considers Magic to be the best thing that has ever happened to humanity along with the vicissim engine. despite the large 280 year gap between 2024 and the current year 2304, there has not been too many technological advancements but there a lot of considerable ones. For instance the average life expectancy is 112

Magic system: Anti Electrons Cause physical deformities related to the power, example. enhanced eyesight gives a third eye. The MC's ability can imbue Anti Magic onto his weapon, His physical deformity goes into the weapon making it look burnt with red cracks. Your Magic Capacity is entirely determined by how much your Physical deformity can store, your size of the deformity tends to signal a greater magical power but that is not always the case. Your Deformity can use the Anti electrons and turn it into Energy/Matter based on the deformities power. When someone try's to put more Anti Electrons into there Deformity than there Magic Capacity can allow, there deformity goes haywire and they turn into monster's that are more powerful than what they were before, almost all of them kill humans in a brainless manner but some are smarter and use things like amateur traps. The most powerful ones have intelligence comparable to a regular human. All these Monster are called _______ (WIP)

Plot: The year is 2304 With this increase in power for everybody on the planet, criminals also get in on the action and crime rates spike up but this issue is solved by the M.D.A(Magical Detective Agency), The detectives involved are not normal detective where they solve crimes Although that is a major part of the group. The detective's are also used to Arrest/Kill these criminals also in most cases usually detective's form groups to find and arrest criminal's, Although these people act exactly like the police do not be mistaken. The police force is used for Criminal's who have no or weak powers while the M.D.A is used for magic related crimes along with killing _____'s. Detectives can be organised into ranks(WIP)

Rank 10: New Recruit, after 6 months of casual work you can be ranked up

Rank9: After achieving this rank you can investigate Crimes that are more violent in nature although you need to be in groups of 7 or more for them, example of a crime would be armed robbery, after 6 months of diligent work you can rank up

Rank8: This is the average rank for all detective, the vast majority are rank 8 although not a lot of rank 8's are old because this rank is normally where a detective dies. the older ones are more powerful and in higher ranks. With this rank you can investigate murder's in groups of 6 or more and investigate _____ sighting's

Rank 7: only 3% or 1 in 33 people make it to rank 7. You need to prove your self time and time again that you can survive investigating and capturing criminals that cause murders and killing ____'s

Rank 6: If you make it to rank 6 it means you are recognized for your very powerful ability and very skilful investigations and captures. Even if a rank 7 worked his entire life he could not make it to rank 6 if his ability was not powerful enough. You need to pass 2 difficult trials to even be qualified for this rank. Rank 6's are rare so you may only get 1 rank 6 in a single town

Rank 5: In order to become a rank 5 you need to pass a specialized trial made my the government specifically for you. Even after searching 20 towns you may only find 1 Rank 5

Rank 4: If you are a rank 4 then you would of had to take down a significant threat like a mafia to be awarded this rank, Nearly every rank 4 is a household name that is recognized in there home country

Rank 3: The Process to be awarded rank 3 is unknown but it means that you are a household name in your own continent or the country you work in if you had moved away

Rank 2: The process to be awarded rank 2 is even more unknown but if you are a rank 2 Your name is known in nearly every continent and rank 2's are extremely rare, so rare that the government puts special protection of them. Normally there will only be one rank 2 per country on average

Rank 1: The process to be awarded rank 1 is not even know by some important people in some governments. The amount of rank 1's can be counted very easily. In 2304 there are 32 Rank 1's. Every Rank 1 is known everywhere. there fame is around the same the rock. Although governments will try to control you, your power is comparable to a country in the first place

indeterminable Rank: Your power is so immense that you are unable to be measured by any government body, The number of Indeterminable Ranks can be counted on one hand. If you are this rank your fame is comparable to Mahatma Gandhi in his prime. People don't like saying the whole rank so most people call the rank "Indet Rank", Governments don't even try to contain you because of your immense power

characters:

MC(needs a name): Is the only negator that can negate magic by imbuing his negative magic onto weapons, His Deformity is that both of his hands look Charred and burned with glowing red cracks where the charred skin is cracking but just the pattern, This look of sharp charred skin with glowing red cracks also goes into his weapons when he imbues them with antimagic, Its kind of like adding a skin to your weapon in a game, The world hates him due to his ability to destroy magic which is considered the best thing to happen to humanity. Also any curse type magic of those sorts cant effect him but a fireball to the head will, But it that fireball hits his hands or a antimagic imbued weapon then it will get destroyed. The main character also works as a Specialist Rank 6 Detective (WIP)

Genius Inventor(needs a name): Invents cure to global warming and accidently makes the Magic system, Also knows the science behind this "Magic", she/he(have not decided) hates it when people call Anti Electrons "Magic", but people don't really care because Magic is cooler(WIP)

Indet Rank person(Needs a name): He is considered to be the most physically strong Detective, even able to shatter continents if he wished to. But all of that is completely fake, he has no power but keeps on getting into misunderstanding that make people think he is the strongest(WIP)

Strong monster(Needs a name): Basically he is an Indet Rank in the MDA, he had human intelligence but does not have a thirst to kill so he is hired in the MDA(WIP)
