4 Devil fruit...

After dealing with those things Joshua glance at the the devil fruit that he placed under the tree which had a touch of sunlight on it . He walked over there but didn't take it up, but he directly passed it and went to tree that was at least 10ft apart. Joshua bent down used his dull sword and began digging out some dirt, then in no time he took out a fruit which had weird patterns.

Yes its a devil fruit that Joshua buried there for some time.

Flashback-

It all happened on a day when the weather was bleak and the surrounding trees seems a little dull and air around seemed slightly depressed. There Joshua was doing is training when you heard.

"Groowwwl.." the sound of Joshua stomach making noises indicated he was hungry. " It seems like I'm going to make lunch a little earlier today ,"Joshua said as he came out of the squats stand.

He dried he's face, took up his sword and went into the woods. It didn't take much time for him to reach there since his small house was built nearby. Many of the villagers looked towards here ocassionally with weird expressions. Because, noone really entered the woods from the village for anything they wanted , they will try to get it some other way. The continuous howling made at night time made them live in fear, they don't dare to go in the woods. Only those fierce men who think they cover the sky with one hand because of little strength will go.

They would arrogantly go in, just to prove to the persons that they can handle any beast that comes there way, but they were never heard of again . Therefore , this made even more determined not to enter there, fear of losing their lives. So when they saw the little boy living near the woods, how is he not dead they wondered. Which now causes their expression be weird when seeing him.

The surrounding was somewhat dark and from time to time you hear the black birds making weird and screeching noises, snakes hissing and the bushes will ruffle every now and then. However, in the midst of all what happening, a small creature with 2 big white ears would seen hopping around while eating a carrot . Right near it, was a short, slim figure which was looking at the rabbit coldly. Watching it like a hawk, who would paying close attention to every movement of its prey.

That person was Joshua, from he came into the woods he watched the rabbit for about 5 minutes waiting patiently for to show a flaw or get distracted then strike a fatal blow. Joshua didn't fear these creature however, there was 1 or 2 creature further down in the forest that let him feel wary. He wouldn't stupidly feel omnipotent because he did some physical training. Therefore he moved cautiously in these woods, in that same breath, the carrot fell from it hands and it hurriedly try to pick it up,

Now !

Joshua disappeard from the original spot and in a blink of an eye he came where the rabbit located. Instinct kicked in as the rabbit felt a dangerous threat coming from behind, so it tried to run away wanting to get away from here. It might have felt the threat but still can't escape, Joshua grabbed it by its throat and applied force repeatedly.

It desperately struggled wanting to be break free but couldn't. Joshua stared coldy at it with a weak murderous intent locked on while watching the rabbit struggling differently, not having the slightest thought of releasing it.

Death came slowly and the rabbit struggle became less fierce and then he chopped off it's head and blood spewed like water works. Just when Joshua was about to leave he spotted something very peculiar was spotted, seemingly not fitting with the environment at all. Slightly curious he went to the nearby bush moved it apart and on the ground surrounded by vines a weird fruit laid there. Joshua looked on the fruit and became suprised then his eyes lit up.

"Devil fruit," he said still suprised as he took it up. The fruit shaped like a pear which had a grey and mixture of bergandy with a small lipid stem. Who would have thought a devil fruit would be on the island even near where Joshua lives.

"System what kind of devil fruit is this," Joshua asked.

"This is a mythical zoan devil fruit, one the rarest fruit the system replied.

Joshua was again suprised.

Flashback end-

Joshua held the fruit in his hand while walking back where the other was. Back then, Joshua thought of eating it but threw the thought to the back of his head because he still had a gift pack and he might get something better fruit than the one he has. Now he has 2 devil fruits in his possession.

"System does the 'curse of the sea' apply to the black flame fruit I received," Joshua questioned.

"No because it came in a form of a gift pack the 'curse of the sea' it was taken away ," the system replied .

This ... Joshua was suprised but when he was about to become excited a thought quickly flashed and dark glint flashed in eyes . This speculation made Joshua drool and an excited feeling made his body tremble. If it true then...

System..

"If the sea curse was lost , then did that mean I would be able to eat another fruit. Because whatever that was in the fruit that would cause you to blow up would have been taken away too, so I would be able if to eat a second devil fruit,"Joshua asked while his lips trembled.

No reply for nearly 2 minutes now, even though Joshua face was calm there was a faint sense of anxiety in his heart.

"That's is correct host, but if u intake another fruit you will get the curse of the sea ," the system said coldly.

Even though Joshua heard everything the system said he ignored it.

He couldn't hold it anymore as he laughed maniacly towards the sky causing the surrounding birds to fly away in panic.
