Terrorists

After five minutes of wait, the train slowly began to leave the platform. Before it left the station, it blew the horn. The horn had a high-pitched sound that could be heard kilometers away from the station.

He began listening to classical music while reading the book. The whole coach was pretty much empty. Besides him, there were only ten more people in his coach.

He didn't mind anything and was peacefully reading the novel while listening to some classical music. It was like 8:55 pm. The sun had completely drowned and the moon shone brighter than ever before. The sight of the moon with its white twinkling stars was breathtaking.

In some distance, a lake could be seen mirroring the image of the sky filled with stars. The lake was still, so it perfectly mirrored the sky's image. The whole sight was worth beholding, but Axtrav didn't care because it was an everyday thing for him. The lake was surrounded by trees and animals. Even though Delhi was one of the most polluted cities in the world, such a breathtaking sight could still be seen.

Two mysterious individuals could be seen wearing full black-clad. Their faces couldn't be seen. They were at the end of the coach. Their movements were a little odd and suspicious as they were trying to hide something. They movements suggested that they were nervous and fearful.

"Something is sure strange today."

He noticed the presence of two mysterious individuals. He had a gut feeling about them being dangerous. He didn't care because it was just a random gut feeling and people would have said he was being absurd if he confronted them for just being a little suspicious.

Soon after, one of the black-clad individuals stood up and walked to the front of the coach. He had a big black barrel bag. He put his bag down on the floor and opened it. He was slowly taking out a gun-shaped object from his bag.

It was not a gun-shaped object, but it was a real assault rifle. It was an M16. No one noticed anything because they were busy looking at their smartphones.

"All of you put your hands up and don't dare to move an inch!" He shouted while he fired bullets in the air.

Panic and terror filled their hearts. Screams of people could be heard amid all of this; a person was still unaware of the current situation and that was none other than Axtrav.

He was completely unaware of the situation and kept looking at his phone, reading what he had just found. It truly intrigued his interest. It was not an out-of-the-world book, but it was pretty decent considering how generic novels in this genre are.

"I thought it was just another generic novel that you can just read without using your brain." He mumbled in delight.

"I have already read over Sixty-five percent of the whole book."

But what he didn't know was that one of the terrorists had noticed him shoving his eyes in his mobile and blasting music at full volume. He didn't even get a hint about what was happening in his surroundings; he was that entangled in reading that book.

There were three terrorists in his cabin. There was one at the front, another one at the back of the cabin, and the remaining was walking in the pathway of the cabin, patrolling everyone and making sure they weren't doing anything suspicious.

The attire of the terrorist wasn't fancy. He wore a Black robber's balaclava on the head. It was weird that they didn't have any kind of hole for the mouth which that kind of mask normally had. They had worn normal clothes like everyone else to blend in with the crowd. Over the shirt, they wore a heavy bulletproof vest and helmet on the head.

The one who was patrolling in the middle noticed his weird behavior, which looked very suspicious to him. He was coming from behind and watching him scroll through his phone. He came up to him and stopped only one step behind him. He picked up his assault rifle, which was attached to a sling. After he picked it up, he placed it on the back of his head.

"Hey, you! What are you doing!"

He shouted in anger. His hand was on the trigger; a single mistake could cost him his life.

His angry shout of his didn't go into his ears because of the music that was blasting at full volume. It was the type of earphone that didn't noise of a gun firing in his ears; his shouts would be nothing difficult to handle.

'Who is this kid poking the back of my head? Parents these days don't even teach manners to their children...'

'Well, they aren't the only ones at fault. Kids these days are incarnations of the devil. They are Hell's spawn.'

He felt a poking on the back of his head and it was a pleasant experience for Axtrav. He was pretty annoyed by it, but was hoping that the kid would stop poking at the back of his head soon enough. So, he waited for a minute.

"Are you ignoring me, you bastard?"

But not only did the poking continue, but it also intensified. He couldn't take it anymore. So, he took out his earphones and turned to him.

"Can't you teach your chil-" The words stopped coming out of his mouth, the moment he saw the assault rifle in his hands, which was pointed at his head.

'Wh-What the hell is that thing? A G-gun? This gun doesn't even have an orange tip. This is real stuff.' His mind was going through a malfunction. He began panicking.

He calmed himself down. He took one good at his surroundings, and observed everything carefully. After a good few seconds passed he got a fair understanding of the situation that he was in.

'Everyone is on the floor. Doesn't matter whether they are adults or children. From the looks, they look completely terrified and panicked. They are held like hostages.'

With all of the details he had, he could conclude that he had messed up a big time.

'After calculating every possibility I have concluded that I'm fucked."
