Questions and Answers Part 1

After an emotional scene, Ichika and Miku let go of Akira.

Ichika looked hesitant, like she wanted to say something, but couldn't. Miku was the same, she played with her fingers and there was doubt on her face.

Seeing his two sisters like this, Akira already predicted what the two of them wanted to ask.

"Sigh~... Ichika Onee-chan, Miku Onee-chan, you have something to ask, right? Just ask, and I'll answer as long as I can." Akira shrugged his shoulders, he didn't seem to mind.

Ichika and Miku looked at each other, and Ichika said :

"Let's decide the usual way."

"I agree." Miku nodded.

They both pulled their right hands back, then lowered their hands at the same time.

"Rock, Paper, Scissors!" Ichika and Miku said in unison.

"Uuuh… I didn't expect to lose to Miku." Ichika complained.

"What's the point of that, Ichika? Don't underestimate me." Miku puffed out her cheeks.

The result of rock-paper-scissors was won by Miku, who used paper, while Ichika used rock.

Akira being the third party, he shook his head. Isn't that just asking? Why must they beat around the bush like this? He could never understand a woman's way of thinking, neither in this life nor in his previous life.

Ichika looked at her little brother and said earnestly:

"Akira-chan, did you know anything about monsters before? How can you teleport and defeat the monster? And the last one... Am I dead? How can I come back to life?"

The monster Ichika was referring to, of course, was the snake woman who kidnapped her and Miku. Though she didn't see the scene of her little brother beating the snake woman, Miku said it was spectacular. Akira only needed one punch to eliminate the snake woman, and the sea as far as the eye could see parted!

Just from hearing Miku's description, Ichika could imagine that scene being more intense than the one in the anime.

Akira :😐

Akira knows he can't keep the secret of his powers forever, but he doesn't expect it to be exposed too soon!

Receiving the curious looks and curious stares of Ichika and Miku, Akira can no longer hide his secret, considering he lacks the skill to erase memories.

"Okay, I'll tell you that, but Ichika Onee-chan and Miku Onee-chan have to promise not to tell mom, dad, and other Onee-chans."

"Un, I promise I won't tell anyone." Ichika agreed without thinking twice.

"No need to worry, Akira, I'll keep it a secret too." Miku nodded slowly.

"Let's make a pinky promise."

Ichika stretched out her little finger, followed by Miku linking her little finger to Ichika's finger, then both of them turned to Akira.

"I know..."

Akira reluctantly linked his little finger to Miku's and Ichika's pinky fingers.

"Pinkie promise, if you lie, I will make you swallow a thousand needles."

After Ichika and Miku sing the little finger promise, the three pull back the little finger.

Akira looked around, making sure no one was around, and he started answering Ichika's questions one by one.

"Answer the first question, that snake woman is a Stray Devil."

"Stray Devil? Aren't devils only in fairy tales?" Ichika said doubtfully.

Miku was silent, but judging by the look on her face, she was as doubtful as Ichika.

"I knew Onee-chan wouldn't believe so easily… Actually this world isn't an ordinary world as we all think, there are many supernatural beings such as Gods, Angels, Devils, Youkai, Dragons, Vampires, and other supernatural beings."

Akira paused to let Miku and Ichika digest the information. To be honest, he himself was shaken up by it all. When he peeked into the snake woman's memories with [Memory Search], he got all of that information.

"So the snake monster is a Devil… No wonder its appearance looks so scary." Muttered Ichika.

"Ichika, do you believe?" Miku asked, surprised.

"Of course I believe in Akira-chan, besides that, did Miku forget that Akira-chan has the super power that defeated that Stray Devil?" Ichika asked back.

Miku couldn't argue, given her little brother's teleportation and inhuman strength, she had to believe it even if it all sounded absurd.

"I'll continue..." Akira said, seeing that Ichika and Miku had accepted the fact that this world was not as simple as it might seem.

"Carry on, Akira." Miku put her hand on her chest, and readied herself to hear the world's secrets.

"Since this is going to be long, I will only discuss Devils, especially Stray Devils."

Akira looked up at the clock on the wall which showed 11.15 at night, and continued:

"Devils are divided into 5 types, namely: Pure-blooded Devils, Reincarnated Devils, Mixed Devils, Half-Devils and Super-Devils."

"Devils' power is also divided into 5 ranks, namely Low-class Devils, Mid-class Devils, High-class Devils, High-class Devils and Special Class Devils."

"Where's the Stray Devil?" Miku asked confusedly, and Akira didn't mention the type of Stray Devil that kidnapped her and Ichika.

Akira immediately answered Miku's question:

"Stray Devils belong to the type of Reincarnated Devils, what Reincarnated Devils refer to are Devils created by High-class Devils using the Evil Piece to reincarnate other species into Devils to serve the High-class Devils who are their Kings."

"And most Reincarnated Devils only have the power of Low-class Devil and they can promote themselves to higher ranks depending on their performance."

"Now then, let's talk about Stray Devils… They are Reincarnated Devils who have strayed from their masters for their own selfish desires, just like the snake woman last night. She ran away from his master and only satisfied herself by eating humans to increase his strength."

Akira stood up, walked over to the vending machine to buy another drink. His throat was dry after speaking at length, and it was also time to let Ichika and Miku understand the explanation.

Carrying three cans of drinks, Akira handed a matcha flavored drink to Miku and a frappuccino flavored drink to Ichika.

Ichika : "Thank you, Akira-chan, you really know the taste of my favorite drink."

Miku : "Thank you very much, Akira."

Receiving the drink, the two opened the can and immediately took a sip of it to calm down. Knowing too much made the two even more afraid of the danger that could occur at any time.

"Do Ichika Onee-chan and Miku Onee-chan still want to continue? Sometimes knowing too much isn't a good thing. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss."

Akira tries to persuade Ichika and Miku to stop probing the other side's secrets further. He wanted all of his sisters to live their daily lives without fearing that Stray Devils or other supernatural creatures might attack.

"No, I can't stop now. We've all come this far, I don't want to live without knowing anything, while my little brother lives with the burdens he carries."

Ichika cupped Akira's face and looked serious.

Miku bit her lower lip, then hugged Akira's neck and said softly.

"Don't bear everything alone, Akira, even if Onee-chan can't help Akira, at least we can be a place to lean on for you when you're tired."

Faced with this sincerity and affection, Akira's heart was touched. Faced with the unknown, even though Ichika and Miku are afraid, they don't leave themselves alone.

"I'm grateful to be part of this family." Akira said it in his heart.
