8 Chapter 8

As he observes the shelter in which he has arrived, a robust man comes towards him.

"Are you, Jiang Chen?" He asked.

"Yes, did Mu Xiao sent you." Jiang Chen asks.

"Yes sir, please come with me. I will tell you about the shelter and take you to the place where everything is prepared. My name is Mu Xi." He says as they moved together.

Jiang Chen observes everywhere and some people are selling beast souls, it's materials, beast meat and other miscellaneous things.

"Sir, this shelter name is Glory Shelter. And the main leader of this shelter is Xue Longyan. He is from the Xue family. So, don't be in his bad books." Mu Xi tells him.

Jiang Chen nods his head as he thought 'Isn't this same Xue Longyan who is killed by Han Sen and provides him with Jadeskin.'

After walking for few minutes they arrive in a clearing. Here, a person is guarding the door of the place which looks like a warehouse.

He didn't say anything seeing us and moved inside.

Inside a person came towards me. He looks like Mu Xi.

"Sir, my name is Mu Xiao. Every thing is prepared as you told. Please follow me." He said and we followed him.

After passing through another door, we came to a place which have many beasts in a cage.

"Sir, here we have prepared ordinary beasts like; black beetle, copper toothed, lizard, snake, and Swift Mantis. You can fight them in that cage to get used to it.

We have also prepared 20 ordinary beasts meat, 10 primitive beast meat and 3 mutant beast meat." Mu Xiao tells him.

Jiang Chen observes the creatures, he has seen them in books but it's his first time seeing them in real life.

"Get me a ordinary creature meat, I want to see how the system works." Jiang Chen says as he sits beside a table with them.

After waiting for a few minutes, the meat of a black beetle is brought.

Obsering the meat, it can be seen that it's not prepared by a good chef. Well, here in the shelter no one cares about that.

Taking a sponge and eating a bite, he feels that the meat tastes much better than he anticipated.
