The next numbers ( part 3 )

( Yuuki's POV )

When the girls left I stayed in the Mall to interrogate the guy that Tsukiumi had captured, after a few moments he regained altered consciousness and tried to break his ice restraints.

Yuuki: hey there thug, remember me?

He was one of the thugs who tried to harass Shizuka and Miyabi on two different occasions, When he realized the situation he was in he tried to activate his kagune but before he could act I pointed my Rinkaku's pile bunker next to his head.

Yuuki: I don't have time to waste with you, [you just have to answer my questions, understood? ]

I used my [king voice] on him and he nodded dumbly, clearly, he was too stupid to put up any kind of resistance.

I put my Kagune away and questioned him about Kokonoe Tooru and his idiot leader but he didn't have any useful information, I deactivated my control and he immediately began to beg for his life without remembering the last minutes of our interrogation.

Thug: hey man, J-Just let me go I swear you'll never see me again.

Yuuki: that would be the smart thing to do, too bad you're not very smart huh, if you're lucky in your next life you'll have more brains.

I knew he was lying and if I let him go it would only bring me problems in the future but even so, I didn't like meaningless suffering.

Yuuki: Don't worry, you won't feel anything.

I put an implosion BIM on his neck and stepped away as he began to struggle.

Thug: what is that!? No man please you can't leave me here!

I didn't bother to turn around and when I heard the implosion I left there.

I went to the entrance of the Mall and I was surprised when I saw Mamako sitting by the entrance waiting for me, when she saw me she went to hug me without saying anything.

Yuuki: hey Mamako, what are you doing here?

Mamako: The others told me to stay and wait for you, that you may need.

I hugged her back and after a few minutes, we parted ways.

Yuuki: thanks for that, but don't worry, I'm fine.

Mamako: You have been working very hard these last few days, if there is anything I can do to help you please let me know.

Yuuki: I will, but first let's go back home.

Mamako: ok home... How are we going to get back?

Yuuki: leave it to me.

I took Mamako's hands and teleported us to the roof of the MBI building.

When we got back home I asked Ana to send some things outside the MBI building for a little job I wanted to do, I went to my laboratory to collect some things that I needed and when I got out of there Lilith and Julie appeared to drag me to another place, I knew better than to resist so I let them take me, they left me in my room where Miyabi was sitting on the bed, Lilith gave me a thumbs up and they left the two of us alone.

She looked a bit nervous so I sat next to her and waited until she was ready to talk.

Miyabi: Yuuki, do you remember that time when... you got hurt?

Yuuki: you mean that time with Tooru?

Miyabi: um.

Miyabi bit her lip and took my left hand, she lowered her head and was saddened when she remembered what happened that day.

Miyabi: Every time I remember what happened I can't help but get upset with myself, my sisters were fighting without fear and you were hurt but still you didn't stop protecting me but I, I couldn't do anything, I was weak, and cowardly.

Yuuki: Is that why you asked me to train you?

Miyabi: um, I didn't want to feel like that anymore, I want to be strong just like you and the others.

Yuuki: After what I saw today I know that you will be.

Miyabi: y-you mean it.

Yuuki: yeah, You were amazing today, I couldn't take my eyes off you, believe me, you are stronger than you think.

Miyabi had a huge smile and I couldn't help but stare at her, when she realized she blushed and squeezed the edge of her skirt, she seemed to be having a bit of trouble with what she wanted to say next.

Miyabi: not only be strong, but I also want to be brave, to say what I really feel.

She took a deep breath and her nerves disappeared completely.

Miyabi: that time in Cafe Endou, when Lilith said that she was your fiancée I didn't know how to feel, she usually does some impulsive things but she would never do something like that if she didn't have feelings for you, I was happy for her but I was jealous too, My sisters and my mothers kept telling me to be honest with myself and that's what I'm going to do... Yuuki I like you, a lot, from the first time I saw you I felt comfortable around you, and at some point, I realized my feelings, That day when you got hurt I decided that I would tell you how I feel when I was able to fight like the others.

When Miyabi told me that she liked me, she put her hands on the sides of my head and she kissed me passionately, I kissed her back while hugging her and after having used all her courage we separated and Miyabi buried her face in my chest, I lifted Miyabi up onto my lap and raised her left sleeve to see the Sekirei mark with the number thirty-two that had appeared on her shoulder.

Yuuki: I like you too Miyabi, ever since you gave me a present.

I shake my head slightly, jingling the bell that I always used since Miyabi gave it to me, a giggle escaped her and we stayed like that enjoying each other's company for a while.

Before leaving the room I saw Lilith and Julie at the door giving me a thumbs up and I couldn't help but smile at them.
