The last day.

( Yuuki's POV )

When Ana saw the look in my eyes she stopped working and she looked at me with a smile.

Ana: anything you want, I will fulfill it to the best of my abilities.

Yuuki: I need your help to finish my new Materia, in fact, I also need Eu's help.

Ana: I see you, I'll tell Matsu to prepare the training room.

Ana and I went to the floor where Eu was and when we arrived Eu was watching TV while eating snacks just like every day but now she was wearing her old armor.

When I approached her she turned her head and tap her notebook that was on the table.

[ You brought more snacks. ]

Yuuki: No, sorry, I'm still a bit busy with my work.

Eu tore a page from her notebook and she tap it once more.

[ You are working too much. ]

Although she did not express it, she was worried about me and that motivated me even more to help her.

Yuuki: I promised myself that I would help so I'll be working hard a little longer.

Eu: [ I only bring problems, why do you continue helping me? ]

Yuuki: the truth, you are very important to me, you deserve to be happy and I am going to make sure that you are, so please let me help you.

I extended my hand to Eu and she stared at me blankly but I think her eyes widened a bit, she took my hand and we headed to the training room.

Eu's powers are very volatile and erratic, it doesn't have a fixed path to move, that's why the new Materia must adapt to that flow in real time but I didn't know enough about Eu's powers to create it, Using her powers hurts her so I will never ask her to use them for my research, that's why I need to use her powers for her.

Ana: very well, are you ready Yuuki?

Yuuki: yeah.

Ana stood behind Eu and she put a hand on her back, her hand started to glow gold and when she removed her hand she was holding a fist-sized purple sphere in it, then she stood in front of me and pressed the sphere against my heart, she met my eyes and after a nod, she pushed the sphere into me and I staggered back a bit.

Immediately Eu's powers ran frantically inside me and I tried to contain it as best I could, I moved to the center of the room and after taking two steps Eu pulled the sleeve of my shirt, when I turned around Eu was looking at me with a bit of concern on her face and for someone like her, that was saying a lot.

With Eu's powers inside me I couldn't show many emotions so I gave her a small smile and thumbs up, she let go of my sleeve and gave me a thumbs up just like me and when I got to the center of the room Ana was in front of me ready to fight.

Ana: I only put half of Eu's powers inside you, but don't worry, come to me without holding back, I can take everything you throw at me.

Ana smirked and I got into a battle stance and licked my lips in anticipation, after all, I had wanted to fight one of my three goddesses for a long time.

For twenty-four hours straight I kept fighting Ana and in all that time I couldn't hit her even once, the first god in my sights isn't nearly as strong as her but it reminded me of the long road ahead.

The good thing is that while I was lying on my back catching my breath I figured out how to use Eu's powers, these have a strange pattern that changes regularly and occasionally becomes completely erratic, but I could see a pattern, now I was sure I could create my new Materia, just after a little break.

Eu: [ are you OK? ]

Yuuki: yeah, just a little... tired.

Eu: [You're hurt. ]

I had already healed all my wounds but that did not make the blood on my body disappear, Eu is too nice and I knew she was blaming herself for my state, so I put my hand on her head.

Yuuki: I did this because I wanted to ok, I'm selfish like that, you don't have to blame yourself for anything.

Ana: He is an incorrigible idiot like that, you just have to say please and thank you and he will move a mountain for you.

Eu closed her eyes for a moment and she moved a little closer to me.

Eu: Th...ank... you...

At that moment I heard Eu's voice for the first time, unable to contain my excitement, a huge stupid smile appears on my face, I kept petting her head and as her cheeks turned pink she covered my eyes with her little hands.

After my spar with Ana finishing my new Materia was a piece of cake, I kept half of Eu's powers because that way it was easier for both of us to keep them controlled, and with that problem finally solved I was going to accompany Eu on her first walk through the city or at least that was my plan but Tsukiumi told me to go ahead of them and wait for them at the cafe Endou, when I came in I saw Stella and I sat down with her to thank her once again for her advice.

Stella: oh it seems everything went well.

Yuuki: it did, by the way, why did you talk to me today?

Stella: Umm let's just say it's a secret.

Yuuki: well ok, tell me are you enjoying your visit to Japan?

Stella: I guess my looks gave me away.

Stela was a beautiful, well-endowed middle-aged woman with a bob-cut blonde hair and blue eyes, everything about her screamed foreign.

Stella: yeah this place is quite relaxing, just what I needed, my work was getting quite resentful.

Yuuki: what is your job?

Stella: Why don't you take a guess?

Yuuki: Uhm, are you a model?

Stella: My, how flattering.

Yuuki: Well, you didn't give me any clues and you are very beautiful, It's either your work requires that kind of beauty or that is your natural beauty.

Stella: Are you flirting with me~ even though you already have so many beautiful girls with you, like those two?

I felt a chill run down my spine and quickly turned around to see Tsukiumi and Eu frowning at me.
